Yesterday, I watched for the 1st time movie ^The Rewrite(2014)^ starring Hugh Grant as Keith Michaels. In the movie, Mr. Michaels made an appointment to faculty member Mary Weldon(Allison Janney) , to essentially ask for his teaching job back. In that meeting, before or after Miss Weldon in so many words agreed to allow Mr. Michaels to have his job back, she requested that Mr. Michaels read her memoirs, so that he may offer her some sort of constructive criticism for it.

My point from the movie ‘The Rewrite’ is that, even though to Miss Weldon many of Mr. Michaels’ actions were unacceptable to the school, they were still able to have a reasonable conversation together after Mr. Michaels arranged an appointment to talk to her. Now, for the kids, I recommend that, for this idea, you imagine that you are an adult working for a company, and another person in your school, let’s say a girl, is also imagined to be an adult working for the same company. One day, you notice that she is talking to several different people consecutively, and you ask someone you are talking to if some sort of event is going on that you are not aware of. The person you are with says to you that the people she is talking to made an appointment to talk to her. And then you say to the other person quote-‘But she is always like that!’
