Wishlist #1013

Not the same:

I know that I said I would start ‘the beginnings of bookmark use’ around this time, but a few hours after I finished typing in the disclaimer for Wishlist #1012, this happened at 7/8/2015, I invented another bookmark, and I am still experiencing a mild epiphany for this new bookmark! That means that, based on my experience inventing these bookmarks, not only will this idea be new to you, and that feeling of a new bookmark should appeal to those who have been reading these ideas for a while, but that feeling I have that this new idea still has a sense of epiphany for me means that you will probably experience an epiphany using this new idea as well. And so, the new plan is that I will 1st explain this new bookmark to you, which will probably be done by today, and then the next lists will be dedicated to explaining ‘the beginnings of bookmark use’ to you. Sorry for the change in plans, but I believe this new bookmark may be very useful to you.

1st, I’d like to start using movie ‘As Good as It Gets(1997)’ starring Jack Nicholson as Melvin Udall as the premise for this story. The story will be used to help you understand the idea I invented a week ago. Now, according to the movie ‘As Good as It Gets’, which is available to be watched from Amazon Instant Video(the movie I am using from memory, however, is mostly based on the DVD version of the movie I watched years ago). Only one waitress agrees to serve restaurant customer Melvin Udall, Carol Connelly(Helen Hunt), and Mr. Udall has been eating in that restaurant for many years. The reference I am using from Amazon Instant Video starts 43 minutes and 55 seconds into the movie, when most of the people in the restaurant, including the customers, were giving Mr. Udall a standing ovation when he was told by the owner to leave the restaurant. Based on that scene, I have made an imagined logical conclusion to be used for this advice, and here is the story I imagined:  All of the waitresses that have been working for the restaurant for many years remember when they 1st started serving Mr. Udall. Because of his instigations, the waitresses a few times over the years have participated in group therapy just because of him. Here’s a question for this imagined deduction: ‘Why didn’t the owner of the restaurant remove him as a customer, if Mr. Udall was so troublesome to the waitresses and other customers?’ Before the original owner retired, he talked about Mr. Udall being a customer to his son, who is now the owner of the restaurant. It was pretty much just the one conversation that is important, even though a few words were spoken about him from time to time between father and son. Basically, the father wants his son to keep Mr. Udall as a customer. The father was using some sort of ‘loyalty to the customers’ mentality as the reason for keeping him as a customer. Anyway, that imagined by me background was meant to help you understand how most of the waitresses feel about Mr. Udall. And so, what I’ll do now is just describe one moment of one of the waitresses. This moment happened during the 1st few years when that waitress was serving Mr. Udall. The incident happened when that waitress was not working, when she was at her home fixing the place up, her kids were in school and her husband was at work. While she was fixing the house up, she was thinking about the many times Mr. Udall would do something bothersome to her. Of course, she never raised her voice to him, never presented herself inapppropriately to him. However, even though she never did anything wrong to him, Mr. Udall’s instigations did offend her and make her feel upset, and so, while she was fixing her house, she was making a contemplation argument in her mind about certain instigations from Mr. Udall, and the thinking argument got to the point where she thought of something that was uncharacteristic of her to think about, something that was insulting to Mr. Udall. Soon after she made that uncharacteristic insult in her mind, she stopped her thinking argument, and felt guilty about thinking of such things to Mr. Udall. She quickly reasoned with herself that it was Mr. Udall’s fault for causing her to think in such a way, and of course such an experience caused her to talk about Mr. Udall with the other waitresses. [Now, based on what that lady went through in her home because of Mr. Udall, I made the logical? discovery that, when that lady’s contemplations were insulting Mr. Udall, from what I imagine is the perspective of that lady, her contemplation articulations were not distinguishable from the grievance she was addressing concerning Mr. Udall. She could not discern her own contemplation articulations from the grievance she was addressing. For example, for the adults, before reading this advice(what you did before you actually started reading this idea), how would you go about addressing a grievance contemplationally? Let’s say as an example that applies to some of the adults, a certain grievance would use issues contemplationally introduced to you using contemplation related distress and discomfort to provoke you to contemplationally respond back, and as you would respond back contemplationally, your contemplation articulations may get to the point where you cannot discern your contemplation articulations from the grievance itself. That use of contemplation articulation may create contemplations that are uncharacteristic for you to make, and then you would soon after stop addressing such a grievance. Now, when I invented a possible solution for this situation, it was my belief at the time, and it’s still my belief, that the more important part of this solution was not the solution itself, but the fact that I was able to discover the problem. Since it is my intent to give advice to many schools of thought, if I were to just type in this discovery, that certain instigations may induce a non discernable use of contemplation articulation, that alone can be very valuable to many schools of thought. Other schools of thought would have their own technique, their own appreciations, to process such a discovery, even though I did not type in a solution for it. Of course, the solution I offer you may also be useful to you, and here it is: You simply create a sense of contemplation articulation that is discernable from the impression of interjection of grievance that you are experiencing. The ‘catch phrase’ explanation that you may choose to reference this advice with, like the way you may use a bookmark, is ‘Articulation not the same as impression of interjection of grievance.’, and the ‘understanding bookmark’ is called ‘Not the same.’ To clarify further, the instigation described here addresses contemplation articulations that you use to address certain grievances. There doesn’t have to be any obvious dialogue involved with the instigator. This is something that you just think about privately in your mind. However, even though an instigator may cause you to believe that instigations involving actual words coming from the instigator’s mouth is the source of all of your woes, it is my belief that instigations that cause the use of your contemplation articulations could be the real target of many instigations.

Before I continue further, I’d like to give you a reference for understanding bookmark ‘Not the same.’ The reference according to Amazon Instant Video is located 12 minutes and 36 seconds into movie ‘Mission: Impossible-Ghost Protocol(2011)’. While in a van, Jane(Paula Patton) said to Ethan Hunt(Tom Cruise) quote-‘Messy bringing him along.’, Hunt:-‘I thought it went rather well.’ In spite of the complications involved with removing Bogdan(Miraj Grbic) from jail, according to Ethan Hunt’s use of evaluations, he ‘thought it went rather well’. For example, while I was waiting for a bus in a bus terminal, I thought that 2 women in particular imposed a minor instigation upon me that I suspected was targeting my sense of courtesy and respect. Soon after they imposed the instigation and walked away, I thought to myself quote-‘I thought it went rather well.’, meaning that, in spite of their mild instigation, I was still able to maintain the awareness of courtesy and respect that I intentually offered them, even though those 2 women may have thought that such a courtesy and respect was not adequate enough for them. The intent of the use of the phrase ‘I thought it went rather well.’ is meant to remind you of bookmark ‘Not the same.’ and to help you begin the development of your own sense of contemplation articulation that is used to discern from interjections of grievances.

Here’s a question I believe may be useful for this advice: ‘Is using a sense of contemplation articulation that is discernable from the impression of interjection of grievance the answer itself?’ Before I answer that question, here is the positive effects from the intent of this advice: Once you are able to have and use your own sense of discerning contemplation for certain interjecting grievances, you may be able to be more objective to such grievances contemplationally. That may allow you to more tenably allocate certain evaluation uses associated with such grievances, evaluation uses that may not even be relevant to address! And if you use the waitress story that I typed in, if you were able to manage better how you interact with such grievances, that should help you avoid a lot of unnecessary distress and suffering associated with the addressing of such troublesome grievances. I speculate that in the 1st 3 days of using this idea, the adults that already have issues with such grievances should feel a sense of epiphany. After that, since many of you are also using such ideas to make other ideas, you will probably use evaluations that have results that indicate that this ‘Not the same.’ bookmark is not such a WOW idea. And so, to answer the question, if the answer you seek is to avoid and resolve a certain amount of distress and suffering associated with the addressing of certain grievances that this advice may help you with, and if you are an adult you may already have a few of such grievances from your past experiences, then the answer to that question is ‘Yes, this could be the answer.’ On the other hand, if you are using this advice for other expectations, and the results of those expectations don’t see this advice as such a WOW idea, then, as an example only, the answer may be ‘No.’ I’d also like to say that, based on my interpretations of the episodes from crime solving tv series ‘Bones(2005)’ starring David Boreanaz as Special Agent Seeley Booth, reference refurbished with inapproprieities removed for advice, of course, the crime is never solved within the 1st hour of the show’s investigation, and in each episode, they usually question a few innocent people first before they discover who the criminal is.

Now, although I invented the ‘understanding bookmark’ first, and the understanding bookmark for me was effective on certain instigations for the 1st 2 days that I used it, eventually I invented variations for bookmark ‘Not the same.’, other bookmarks created from bookmark ‘Not the same.’ that can be used contemplationally during or soon after the instigation, a phrase that can address the brunt of the instigation. The 1st bookmark I want to introduce to you is called ‘Restore.’ This is one of those bookmarks that was practically created from it’s reference. According to Amazon Instant Video, the reference is located 1 hour and 4 minutes into movie ‘Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan(1982)’, from the words of Spock(Leonard Nimoy). Here is the entire quote:

Kirk(William Shatner)-‘Captain Spock, damage report.’

Spock-‘Admiral, if we go by the book, like Lieutenant Saavik, hours could seem like days.’

Kirk-‘I read you, Captain. Let’s have it.’

Spock-‘The situation is grave, Admiral. We won’t have main power for six days. Auxiliary power has temporarily failed. Restoration may be possible in two days. By the book, Admiral.

Kirk-‘Meaning you can’t even beam us back?’

Spock-‘Not at present.’

Kirk-‘Captain Spock…if you don’t hear from us within one hour, your orders are to restore what power you can, take the Enterprise to the nearest star base, and alert Starfleet command as soon as you are out of jamming range.’

An instigator may improperly impose upon you a false sense of restoring. Refurbished for advice, of course, Spock and Kirk gave Khan(Ricardo Montalban) a false sense of restoring that the Enterprise needs to repair itself, and according to the movie, the deception worked. In my opinion, not only is the reference from movie ‘Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan’ the best quote I can think of for bookmark ‘Restore.’, it also involves adult men and women, which means that this quote should be easier for adults to use it, and also the quote is from a science fiction movie. It is from my experience that science fiction tv shows and movies are easier to refurbish, since such references are designed to be easily discernable from ‘real world’ living. Also, the circumstance of the quote itself encourages you to use some strategy, even if it’s just in the context of a movie.

[I’d like to stop now and finish this idea next week. And this time, since I still have epiphany for this idea, and it’s been a week since I invented it, I plan to just finish this explanation next week, and soon after finishing it’s explanation, I plan to start ‘the beginnings of bookmark use’.

7/22/2015

I just spent over 2 hours today searching for a DVD or Blu-ray that I could rent that would give me some incentive to finish typing this idea. In case you are interested, my search for the DVD or Blu-ray was in web site www.imdb.com. At the bottom of imdb.com’s home web site is an option called ‘Site Index’. Click it, go to the bottom of that page, and there’s an option called ‘Year’. Click ‘Year’, and you are shown a large movie selection based on year. I started with year ‘2015’ and continued to select the years based on descending order(2014, 2013, 2012, etc.) until I stopped at year ‘2001’. For example, if you click year ‘2015’, at the end of the 10 movies it shows you, there’s an option that says ‘show more’. If you click that, on the top of that page, it gives you sorting options. What I did was click ‘US Box Office’, and it gives a description and picture of the movie based on how much money the movie made in American theaters in descending order, 50 at a time. So, basically, the 1st 50 movies shown made the most money from American theaters. What I mostly did was quickly view the 1st 200 movies using option ‘US Box Office’ in descending order from year 2015 to year 2001. That took me over 2 hours to look at, and I did not find a movie for this list. However, even though I did not find one to rent, if you are looking for a movie to watch, you may want to look at imdb.com to see if you can find something to rent on DVD or Blu-ray, if you have a DVD/Blu-ray rental service. And so, what I am going to use is an option I found earlier. I am going to get a membership for a short moment only(whatever short term membership they have available) from web site www.funimation.com in order to watch their latest ‘Ghost in the Shell: Arise’ episodes. According to web site www.wikipedia.com, 2 episodes were made available last month. I am not recommending for you to watch those episodes. I am just typing this in to let you know what I am using for motivation to type the rest of this idea in.

Articulation not the same as impression of interjection of grievance:

To finish this advice, I am just going to try to explain bookmark ‘Articulation not the same as impression of interjection of grievance.’. It is also called ‘Not the same.’ Earlier in this list, I used a story I imagined from movie ‘As Good as It Gets(1997)’, what one of the waitresses in the movie went through while she was home in the 1st years of serving Mr. Udall(Jack Nicholson) breakfast. I figured that if I explain this one example to you, you can imagine having an understanding as to why most of the waitresses in the ‘As Good as It Gets’ movie will not serve Mr. Udall any food. Using that as an example, I was going to give you an example that may help your situation with bookmark ‘Not the same.’, whether you were experiencing such an instigation, or you may reference such an idea in case you may find it useful in the future. So, basically, this is how the instigation works: An instigator using a past instigation would encourage you later to contemplationally address interjections of notions that use distress as part of it’s identity. This creates an escalation of contemplation that may lead into a use of contemplation articulation that is indistinguishable/not discernable from the grievance you are addressing. And during such an instigation, when you can no longer sense the difference between your own contemplation articulations and the grievance, what may occur is that you create a contemplation response that is ‘out of character’ than how you would normally respond. For example, the ‘out of character’ response for adults could be something contemplationally said involving an insult. For teenagers and adults(keep in mind that I am imagining these ideas. I am not a psychiatrist), it could be an out of character contemplation outburst of anger. Anyway, soon after you realize you made such an out of character response, you stop addressing the grievance. Several feelings may occur soon afterwards, such as feeling disappointed because you made such an out of character response, a certain awkwardness as you try to acclimate the experience, along those lines.

[And so, after I discovered such a possibility, I quickly made the logical conclusion that one possible solution for such an instigation was for you to simply create a sense of contemplation articulation that is discernable from the interjections of notions that are usually identified by distress as part of it’s identity that are coming from the grievance you are choosing to address. Now, this is the part that I have thought about the 1st few days after 7/15. After I have stopped explaining this advice, I imagined that some of the kids that are reading this idea may have thought that when I said to ‘create a sense of contemplation articulation’, they may have created a sense of contemplation articulation that involved actual words in thought. Soon after I imagined that, I certainly considered to type a clarification in this blog, but if you read the last paragraph I typed in on 7/15, it says quote-‘I’d like to stop now and finish this idea next week.’. In other words, based on my own explanation, it’s obvious that I didn’t finish explaining the idea, and that I plan to finish explaining the idea next week. Of course, if I believed it was urgent enough, I would clarify more the statement-‘to create a sense of contemplation articulation’ before today. Also, I would like to add that, for the kids, if you plan to give advice in your own blog, and you are not able to finish the explanation, I am not very familiar with using WordPress, but I assume you can make a draft of the explanation 1st before making it available for others to read. If, however, you choose to type it in like the way I am doing it, you may simply say to those who are reading your blog that you have not finished explaining this idea, and that you plan to finish explaining it at another time, within reason, of course. For example, I am just typing in advice to help people with their problems experiencing instigation. I am not typing in something that depends upon unusually technical detail, like instructions to put together some sort of engine.

[Anyway, going back to the statement ‘to create a sense of contemplation articulation’, what I meant was to create a sense that you can associate to a sense of contemplation articulation. For example, in the movie ‘The Blues Brothers(1980)’, if memory serves, there was a scene when Jake and Elwood were in an elevator, and music was being played in the elevator. It is my experience that music from elevators are designed to give you a neutral, calm feeling. Another example is when you are placed on hold when you are trying to talk to make an appointment for something by phone. Sometimes when you are placed on hold by phone, music designed to induce a neutral, calm feeling is played for you to hear. As an example, you may use an imagined sense of what you may get from elevator music or being placed on hold by phone music as an association to some sort of reasonable contemplation articulation. In other words, you are just using the sense of it to represent contemplation articulation, not actual contemplation articulation words. If some of the kids using this advice are offended by the misunderstanding, the misunderstanding only lasted a week, and I certainly did consider clarifying the meaning earlier, but I didn’t think it was necessary for me to do so. Also, I was planning to finish the explanation in a week anyway. I can see why there is a possible misunderstanding, since a ‘feeling’ is not ‘articulation’. However, based on how I invented this idea, you may choose to use a ‘feeling’ to associate to a chosen contemplation ‘articulation’. Of course, you decide what the reasonable ‘feeling’ is, and what your basic contemplation articulation would be.

[Here is an explanation why creating a sense of contemplation articulation to be discernable from impressions of interjections from a grievance you choose to think about may be useful to you. If you look at an instigation identified by bookmark ‘Not the same.'(such as moments refurbished for advice from movie ‘As Good As It Gets’), you may notice that it may try to impose upon you interjections of notions whose identity uses distress. Now, before this advice, what you may have done with those interjections of distress was address those interjections, try to resolve those interjections. However, addressing such notions of distress may have created the effect of escalating the problem further. Now, with your newly invented sense of articulation that is discernable from the interjections of distress, you may notice that you have experienced a sense of epiphany, an epiphany that based on my own experiences may last a week. Also, if you have invented such a sense of articulation, you are now more objective when you think about such interjecting notions of distress. Here is the best example I can think of right now for objectively interacting with interjections of distress induced by an instigation. It’s not a match for this advice, but I still believe you can use it for illustration. This example comes from a movie with inappropriate material in it, so if you cannot remove the inappropriate material, then you don’t have to use this advice. However, the reference itself, even though it only exists as a short moment in the movie, may still be useful to you, and of course even that reference is refurbished for advice. I recently watched for the 1st time Blu-ray rental ‘Unfinished Business(2015)’ starring Vince Vaughn as Dan Trunkman, and the reference is near the end of that movie, when Mr. Trunkman is talking to Mr. Daaervk, the man he is trying to get a business agreement with. Mr. Daaervk said to Mr. Trunkman in a context that Mr. Trunkman was not prepared for, to fire one of his employees. A little unsettled, Mr. Trunkman said to Mr. Daaervk quote-‘He work extremely hard on this sheet. I stand by what he did.’ Soon after Mr. Trunkman said that, Mr. Daaervk said to Mr. Trunkman quote-‘I’m just kidding.’, and then Mr. Trunkman laughs. Because of that moment, even though Mr. Daaervk agreed to do business with Mr. Trunkman, it still took a short moment for Mr. Trunkman to collect himself and realize that he just made a business agreement with Mr. Daaervk. Now, in imagination of course, I created the situation when Mr. Daaervk said to Mr. Trunkman to fire one of his employees, he gave Mr. Trunkman some thinking room to give Mr. Trunkman an answer. Let me demonstrate. Let’s turn Mr. Trunkman’s statement ‘Fire him.’ into two options, 1)if you fire him, you get the contract, and 2)if you don’t fire him, you don’t get the contract.  [Mr. Trunkman’s response did not choose those 2 options. Instead, Mr. Trunkman said-‘He worked extremely hard on this sheet. I stand by what he did.’ My point is that Mr. Daaervk allowed Mr. Trunkman to choose another option. However, when you experience an instigation that improperly imposes interjections of distress, I believe it is very likely that such instigations by design may cause you to address the options they obviously present to you, and not give you a chance to address other reasonable possibilities. Also, keep in mind that the instigation could be out of context and not relevant to begin with. Of course, there are other instigations that are not so easily quantified, but have you also experienced instigations that are also absurdly direct in being out of context and not relevant?

[This is the part where I type in the disclaimer and finish this idea, but right not I choose to stop explaining this idea, and I will finish typing in the disclaimer next week. I want to watch the ‘Ghost in the Shell: Arise’ motivation I gave myself today. To reiterate, I am not recommending ‘Ghost in the Shell’ for this advice. I don’t think it will take very long to type in the disclaimer next week, so what will happen next week I also plan to finally start ‘the beginnings of bookmark use’ explanation.

7/28/2015

Violence, viewer discretion for movies ‘As Good As It Gets’, ‘Mission Impossible-Ghost Protocol’, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan’, and ‘Unfinished Business’. Violence and viewer discretion for series ‘Bones’. Use only refurbished for advice references recommended. Throw away rest of episode, series, and movie.

Use mental bookmarks ‘Articulation not the same as impression of interjection of grievance.’ and ‘Articulation not the same.’ for reference, allocation, and prevention when needed.

[Tomorrow, I plan to start explaining ‘The beginnings of bookmark use.’ finally.

[For the kids who are reading this stuff who believe they are not understanding these ideas as much as they should, I recommend you think ‘bigger picture’. If you have read it, and have sincerely tried to learn from it, then what you have learned from it may be useful for the next ideas that I plan to type in. Also, it’s possible that concepts you were not able to understand in the past you may be able to understand in the future. Also, my benefit from what I have learned may still be your benefit. Anyway, I plan to continue the new ideas tomorrow.
