Winding down participate:
1st, I want to start with the only effective reference I can think of right now for this idea, and of course it is refurbished for this advice. The reference is in episode 3.2 ‘The Ensigns of Command’ from series ‘Star Trek: The Next Generation(1989)’. The 1st illustration, according to Amazon Video, starts 35 minutes and 19 seconds into the episode. Here is the quote:
Captain Picard(Patrick Stewart):-‘…And get me that Treaty. They’ve been beating us over the head with it for 3 days.’
The 2nd illustration, in the same episode, is when Picard put the Sheliak representative on hold. According to Amazon Video, Picard started the disconnection of dialog at 39 minutes and 30 seconds into the episode, and Picard maintained the disconnection until 40 minutes and 23 seconds into the episode. That’s about 50 seconds of Picard illustrating the fact that he is enjoying putting the Sheliak on temporary disconnection of dialog, a moment I highly recommend that you watch, in it’s context, of course.
Now, let me see if I can explain what the instigation is in the form of a definition: -‘An instigator may improperly adversely change the awareness and commitment to your original intent using overemphasized, accumulating participations that are out of context to your originally chosen intent.’ For example, using the ‘Star Trek reference, using the 1st illustration as a reference point, Picard said quote-‘They’ve been beating us over the head with it for 3 days.’ If you watched the episode, Picard has been trying to honor the Federation’s treaty that they have made with the Sheliak as well as evacuate the people from the planet, but the Sheliak representative has been causing Picard’s mood to adversely change, since the Sheliak representative won’t give Picard the 3 weeks he needs to evaluate all of the people from that planet. As further proof that Picard’s original sense of intent, for example, his original mood, has changed, that is when Picard disconnected communications with the Sheliak for about 50 seconds, a disconnection that the episode has illustrated in an obvious manner. My point is that, even for a Starfleet Captain, it still was possible to change Picard’s original sense of intent. Of course, Picard didn’t do anything reckless that would need some sort of disciplinary action from Starfleet. However, for this advice, Picard’s obvious original sense of intent did change noticeably.
Now, let me see if I can make an example that is more obviously noticeable for bookmark ‘Winding down participate’. Let’s say you are trying to participate with someone amicably and in good faith. At least, that is your original chosen sense of intent to participate. Next thing you know, you are being corrected for the ‘minor’ mistakes that you are making, those corrections turn into criticisms, and the next thing you know, you’re angry, but you can’t just shrug off what had just happened, and such corrections and criticisms caused you to not only change your original intent to participate, but you had also forgotten what your original intent to participate was! Now, if you have never used such an advice before, then I think there is a reasonable possibility that such a change in intent has already happened to you.

The solution I recommend for you to use is to use bookmark ‘Winding down participate’ or ‘Winding down context’ when such an instigation or inadvertency is imposed upon you to experience. As you are learning the idea, the longer phrase you would use would be ‘Winding down participate, I did not agree to participate in such a context.’ or ‘Winding down participate, I did not agree to participate in a certain context.’ ‘Winding down’ is when you have experienced a certain instigation or inadvertency, and you are trying to make the experience more tenable in your mind by going over certain interpretations of that experience and making those interpretations more acceptable. I call that think effort to make such interpretations more acceptable ‘winding down’. What I have noticed from my own experiences is that instigators tend to literally try to impose a notion in your mind that has an inclination for you to ‘wind it down’. So, as a solution, as long as you already know what your sense of intent already is, and the instigation is just mild to moderate, you therefore may not need to contemplationally ‘wind it down’, since you already know what the answer is. So, the idea is that, with bookmark ‘Winding down participate’, you can continue participating, even choosing to accept the criticisms given to you, but the difference that is supposed to be in your favor is that, when you use bookmark ‘Winding down participate’, you can still remember what your originally chosen sense of intent is.
Here is a question for this advice:-‘How is remembering your originally chosen sense of intent important?’
If you remember your originally chosen sense of intent, even though certain criticisms and comments are experienced, for one thing, you will experience less that sense of anger that is caused by such possible criticisms and comments. You can also more objectively continue to participate, but in a more reasonable context.
Once you choose to use this idea, soon after, if you experience instigations from strangers that you did not make a commitment to participate with in advance, and they improperly impose upon you an instigation that demands a contradictory sense of participation, you may still be able to participate, but in a context that is more appropriate for you to participate. For example, when you are mildly insulted with an instigation, but the instigation also requests that you participate, you can say the phrase in your mind quote-‘Winding down participate, I did not agree to participate in such/a certain context’, but you are still able or you still choose to participate, just not in an adverse context that the instigation encourages you to participate in. Once you are familiar with it’s use, you can just say bookmarks ‘Winding down participate’ or ‘Winding down context’.
Look, I know this idea is not as considerate as the previous ideas. I just invented this idea I think this past Sunday, a few days ago. The reason I decided to explain this now is because if I explained it the other way, in a more developed context, like I did with bookmark ‘Surprise understand’, such an explanation may take a month to complete. If I explain it this way, I get the gist of it out of the way, and you can develop this idea with more available time. Also, once I explain enough ideas, I may reference this idea again.
