Wishlist #1175

Aloha!

It is now 11:12 AM EST for me. I decided to take a day off from work for Memorial Day. I chose a music video for this list from www.youtube.com, a category called ‘Top 100 Today’s Most Listened Songs – May 2019’. The song is #22, and it’s called ‘New Rules’ by Dua Lipa. Since I already recommended this music video in a previous list, I’m not going to talk about it. I chose this music video because I wanted some sort of dancing mobility. I absolutely believe it’s not the best music video out there for dancing mobility, but I don’t want to use more time looking for one. However, since I do need some mobility, I also recommend watching movie trailer ‘Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw – Official Trailer #2 [HD]’. To watch the trailer for free, search for phrase ‘fast and furious hobbs and shaw’ in www.youtube.com, and it should one of the 1st selections offered, with over 22 million views. The movie trailer was published on Apr 18, 2019, a month and a week ago. There’s gun violence, but it’s in a context of being an action adventure movie. Also, the villain portrayed by Idris Elba is described in the trailer as being a ‘black Superman’, because he is cyber-genetically enhanced.

React how:

I invented this idea yesterday. Although it’s not the idea I originally planned to give to you, this is still, in my opinion, the best idea I have made as of now. When you use this idea, you choose a sense of reacting as it relates to your chosen sense of perspective, and that allows you to experience mild to moderate interjections of reacting caused by instigators and inadvertencies which allows you to maintain a sense of focus that is less affected by such instigation related interjections of reactings. This idea may allow you to experience instigation related interjections of reacting, and you are still able to maintain your chosen sense of reacting as it relates to your chosen perspective.

The 1st illustration example, refurbished for advice of course, is in episode 2.17 ‘Ham Sandwich’ from lawyer tv show ‘The Good Wife(2011)’. The episode is available streaming from Amazon.com. If you have Amazon Prime, the episode is available to you without additional payment. According to Amazon Video, that scene starts 33 minutes and 54 seconds into the episode, Alicia Florrick(Julianna Margulies) is giving legal advice to Kalinda Sharma(Archie Panjabi). Here is the quote:

Alicia: ‘You ready? No matter what they ask–the Fifth. You plead the Fifth.’

Kalinda: ‘Got it.’

34 minutes and 10 seconds into the episode, Kalinda and Alicia are not in a courtroom:

Cary Agos(Matt Czuchry): ‘Now, we’ve asked Blake Calamar back for another day of questioning, but you have no disagreement with his characterization of the conversation?’

Kalinda: ‘I refuse to answer on the grounds that it may incriminate me.’

Alicia: ‘Again, we would speed things up here if you allowed for a blanket pleading of the Fifth.’

According to www.dictionary.com, ‘to plead the Fifth means to refuse to answer a question, especially in a criminal trial, on the grounds that you might incriminate yourself.’

So, all Kalinda has to say while in that courtroom is the phrase:

Kalinda: ‘I refuse to answer on the grounds that it may incriminate me.’

Every question the lawyers give her, every statement, that’s all she’s supposed to say. In my opinion, it’s an obvious example of maintaining a sense of reacting as it relates to your chosen perspective. Of course, you don’t use the rest of that episode. You don’t need to understand why she’s there. It’s just a tv show, it’s not real. You’re just using it as a refubished for advice ‘React how’ illustration.

The next example is in episode 4.7 ‘Reunion’ from sci-fi tv show ‘Star Trek: The Next Generation(1990)’. The episode is available streaming from Amazon.com. Here is a copy of that quote from Wishlist #1168:

In that scene, the discussion involves Capt. Picard(Patrick Stewart), Gowron(Robert O’Reilly), Duras(Patrick Massett), and Lieutenant Worf(Michael Dorn). To understand the discussion, I’ll start the quote a little earlier. That scene starts 30 minutes and 57 seconds into the episode. Here is the quote:

Gowron: ‘The investigations are complete. They revealed nothing of any importance.’

Picard: ‘Now, that’s very surprising. Our analysis turned up some…startling results. Will you join us, Lieutenant?’

(Worf enters the room)

Duras: (standing up from his chair): ‘What is this!’

Gowron:(standing and pointing at Worf): ‘He has no place here, Picard!’

Duras: ‘I will not sit at the same table with that.’

Picard: ‘It is my prerogative to investigate anything that may be relevant to the Rite of Succession. Lieutenant Worf is my Chief Security Officer. His presence is required.’

Duras: ‘We will not proceed.’

Picard: ‘If you wish to withdraw from the ja’chuq…that is your option.’

Picard’s chosen reacting as it relates to his chosen perspective knew that, if he brought in Lieutenant Worf, Gowron and Duras would probably have a contesting reaction. Picard also planned to explain to both Gowron and Duras why Worf was important for his investigations. The highlight of this example is how Picard reacted to both Gowron and Duras when they both expressed their obvious grievances to Picard. I wanted to give you an example that involved some sort of resistance to another person’s use of chosen reacting. The resistance came from the grievances from Gowron and Duras in regards to Worf’s presence.

The 3rd illustration is in episode 7.23 ‘Extreme Measures’ from sci-fi tv show ‘Star Trek: Deep Space Nine(1999)’. The episode is available streaming from Amazon.com. Here is a quote from Amazon.com about the episode:

‘ Bashir and O’Brien link minds with the man who holds the cure to Odo’s deadly disease. ‘

It’s a science fiction episode. It’s refurbished for advice, so don’t use it literally. According to the episode, Doctor Bashir(Alexander Siddig) Chief O’Brien(Colm Meaney) use some sort of technology to create some sort of virtual interface with Sloan’s(William Sadler) mind. The scene starts 39 minutes and 49 seconds into the episode. Here is the quote:

Sloan: ‘If you really want to destroy Section 31, it’s now or never.’

Bashir: ‘He’s right. This is a once-in-a- lifetime opportunity. We can’t pass it up.’

O’Brien: ‘Julian!

Bashir: ‘What?!’

O’Brien: ‘Listen to me. He wants us to die with him. If we die, Odo dies, too.’

Sloan: ‘All my secrets yours for the taking, Doctor…if you want them badly enough.’

O’Brien: ‘Odo needs you, Julian. He’s counting on you.’

Sloan: ‘You’re making a terrible mistake, Doctor.’

Bashir: ‘I don’t think so.’ (Bashir then allows both himself and O’Brien to leave the neural virtual link with Sloan’s mind.)

In that example, Sloan convinced Doctor Bashir to momentarily commit to a certain reacting perspective, but O’Brien warned Bashir that it was a trap, and that Odo needs Bashir to commit to the reacting perspective that involves Odo’s cure, which allowed Bashir to change his reacting perspective. Since I believe idea ‘React how’ may be a new idea for you, I think the ‘Sloan’ example may be useful to you, since the example involves a person changing his/her perspective obligations as it relates to reacting.

The 4th example is near end of episode 30.6 ‘From Russia Without Love’ from animated tv show ‘The Simpsons(2018)’. In that scene, Moe was about to get married to Anastasia Alekova(Ksenia Solo). The episode is available streaming from Amazon.com, and according to Amazon Video, the 1st scene starts 18 minutes and 38 seconds into the episode. Here is the quote:

Moe: ‘Ana, what about you?’

Anastasia: (with Midwestern accent) ‘I’m not Russian at all. I’m from Columbus, Ohio.’

Moe: ‘Ana, you’re a scam artist.’

Skipping ahead to 19 minutes and 7 seconds into the episode:

Anastasia: (with no accent) ‘Fine. I’ll find another man and give him what he dreams of. I just have to, uh…(with French accent) …speak a little like this. (with Scottish accent) or maybe Scottish, like…’

Willie: ‘Oh, do my ears deceive me? Are you from the Highlands?’

Anastasia: ‘Aye. Between Inverness and the Moray Firth.’

The 4th example just gives you an example of a person who is able to change his/her perspective several times.

Not how I use my reacting:

Not how I react:

The reason I called the idea ‘React how’ is because when you experience that instigation that is causing you to react in order to wane/muddle your chosen sense of focus as it relates to your chosen reacting associated to your chosen perspective, idea ‘React how’ means ‘That is not how I use my sense of reacting.’ The purpose of idea ‘React how’ is to clarify in your mind that the sense of reacting imposed by the instigation or inadvertency is not your chosen use of reacting associated to your chosen sense of perspective. In the ‘Ham Sandwich’ example, a lawyer would ask Kalinda a question or make a statement, and she was supposed to plead the Fifth to all of those questions and statements. That example is also a clarification of a person’s chosen sense of reacting as it is associated with his/her chosen perspective.

Even though idea ‘React how’ is, in my opinion, my best idea, and the idea I am currently actively using, there are other ideas I have not given you yet. The idea I plan to give you I still plan to give you this coming Saturday. All right. I think I got it now. The example is in episode 3.21 ‘The Die Is Cast’ from sci-fi tv show ‘Star Trek: Deep Space Nine(1995)’. The episode is available streaming from Amazon.com. Here is a quote from www.wikipedia.org about that scene:

‘ On the lead ship of the Cardassian-Romulan fleet, Enabran Tain and Garak reflect upon their past times together in the Obsidian Order, the Cardassian secret police. ‘

The example according to Amazon Video starts 7 minutes and 15 seconds into the episode. Here is the quote:

Enabran Tain(Paul Dooley): ‘I never met anyone else who relished a good interrogation as much as you did. Do you remember getting that confession out of Dr. Parmak?’

Garak(Andrew Robinson): ‘I never even touched him.’

Enabran Tain: ‘That was the beauty of it. You just sat there, for, what? Three hours?’

Garak: ‘Four!’

Enabran Tain: ‘And after four hours of watching you stare at him, he confessed.’

Garak: (chuckles) ‘I was good, wasn’t I?’

Enabran Tain: ‘You were brilliant. Afterwards, he just kept saying, ‘His eyes…his eyes.’

Using ‘The Die Is Cast’ example, let’s address the adults at work. When you are using idea ‘React how’, you are checking to see if the instigator(s) are causing you to react in a way that is trying to wane/muddle your sense of focus as it relates to your chosen perspective. Is the instigator trying to get your attention in a way that is odd/unusual? When that instigator wants to get your attention, does that change your focus for your chosen perspective? All 5 examples I have offered you comes down to this: Is this advice useful to you? For example, Enabran Tain quoting Garak:

Enabran Tain: ‘His eyes…his eyes.’

Although I doubt the instigator is actually staring at you, is the instigator causing you to react in a way that muddles your sense of focus as it relates to your chosen perspective? The instigator doesn’t actually have to stare at you to cause you to react. If so, you may contemplationally say the phrase ‘React how’, ‘Not how I use my reacting.’, or ‘Not how I react’, and that should help you become more aware what your chosen sense of reacting is as it is associated to your chosen sense of perspective. Keep in mind that you don’t have to always have an obvious sense of what your chosen perspective is just to be aware of what it is.

[It’s now 1:57 PM EST for me. I am going to close and proofread this list now. I plan to give you the next idea this coming Saturday, so if you are there, I’ll see you then.

TV-14 violence and viewer discretion for lawyer tv show ‘The Good Wife’. TV-PG sci-fi violence and viewer discretion for tv series ‘Star Trek: The Next Generation’ and ‘Star Trek: Deep Space Nine’. TV-PG animated violence and viewer discretion for tv show ‘The Simpsons’. Use only refurbished for advice references recommended. Throw away rest of episode and series. [Use mental bookmarks ‘React how’, ‘Not how I use my reacting’, and ‘Not how I react’ for reference, allocation, and prevention when needed.

Salutations!

It is now 5:40 PM EST for me. Before I begin the next idea I want to give to you, I want to give you 5 ‘prep up’ ideas designed to help you prepare for it. The 1st idea I call ‘Change my perspective’, the 2nd idea I call ‘Diversity and obligation’. It was originally in one of the ideas that I deleted. There was nothing wrong with that idea. It was part of a list, and I wanted to delete that list. The 3rd idea is from the movie ‘Presumed Innocent’. I don’t have a name for it, but it has an obvious purpose. The 4th idea I call Heart rate and adrenaline’. I got the idea from an episode of ‘Discovery of Witches’. The 5th idea I call ’30 lacks’. It’s an example for idea ‘Not enough/lack/not adequate’, an idea I started to type in in Wishlist #1173, but I did not give you an explanation for it. I invented this explanation earlier today, after I came home from the public laundromat. It is made from the movie ‘The Upside(2017)’ and an episode of ‘Casual’. Since I”m typing in 5 ideas in this list, after I explain those ideas, I’m going to proofread and close this list, and start the new idea tomorrow in a new list.

Just a quick update, I got the epidural for the lower right side of my back yesterday. I felt pretty good afterwards. Soon after I got back home, I went to a public restaurant and ate a steak well done. Since it was still early, I was able to get the steak, but the baked potatoes were not ready yet for that restaurant, so I ordered french fries instead. I’m not supposed to take a shower 24 hours after the epidural. Since that time has lapsed, instead of 24 hours, I plan to add another day to that. I’ll take a shower tomorrow instead. Since there’s a reason why I should wait 24 hours until I can take a shower, I guess I can add another day to be on the safe side. The doctor that I go to specializes in Sports Medicine, and someone from where I work also goes to him. I originally found him in the internet. The doctor and his team have a convincing web site, and one of his offices is convenient to get to. I didn’t ask anyone where I work about him. I just happened to meet someone from work, since we both had the same appointment. I don’t think I’ll have any more problems with my back any time soon, maybe in a year or 2. If my back situation does get more problematic, based on my decision, I plan to see the doctor that does that ‘Non-Traumatic Discectomy’, and maybe if that doctor agrees, that procedure can treat my lower back problem. I mentioned that in Wishlist #1099.

The music video I chose for this list is for the song ‘Cold In La’ by American pop boy band ‘Why Don’t We’. The group has a link in www.wikipedia.org, but based on the information I am looking for, it doesn’t say much. Here’s a quote from wikipedia:

‘ The band has toured with many artists such as Shawn Mendes and the Chainsmokers. ‘

Here’s a quote from a review from web site soundigest.com about the song ‘Cold In LA’:

‘ The band describes the feeling of being with that person as warmth, cleverly comparing their emotions to the warm temperatures that Los Angeles is known for. That said, being away from that particular person leaves them feeling cold and empty, and honestly, we’ve all been there. ‘

And, based on my opinion from watching the entire music video for the 1st time earlier today, that’s what it shows. It depicts obvious special effects of being cold in LA, which represents a separation from a loved one, depicted by a young woman, and when that woman comes back, the cold melts away. Well, that’s what I thought the music video was showing.

Here is a quote from the lyrics of ‘Cold In LA’:

Don’t walk away
‘Cause it’s cold in LA
Every time that you leave me behind
Just stay at my place
‘Cause I can tell by the way
You’re lookin’ at me, you’ll be fine

I found the music video ‘Cold In LA’ from an associated search. I looked in category ‘Music’ from www.youtube.com in category ‘Popular Music Videos’, which is it’s last category in the page. ‘Popular Music Videos’ has 200 music videos. The group ‘Why Don’t We’ was listed as #188. I did another search for other music videos that group did by searching for phrase ‘why dont we’ again in www.youtube.com, and that’s how I found ‘Cold In LA’. The music video has over 5 million views, and it was published Feb 16, 2019, about 3 months ago. If you choose to watch the music video, I believe that it is a relaxing music video to watch.

Change my perspective:

Idea ‘Change my perspective’ is made with 2 illustrations from the animated tv show ‘The Simpsons’. According to Amazon.com, the 1st illustration is in episode 9.3 ‘Lisa the Simpson’ from tv show ‘The Simpsons(1998)’. In that scene, Lisa is going through a perspective crisis after Bart and Homer encouraged her to eat candy they hid in the couch. The episode is available streaming from Amazon.com, and according to Amazon Video, that scene starts 12 minutes and 14 seconds into the episode. Here is the quote:

Homer: ‘Marge, we need 5000 cc’s of snacks, STAT!(medical tv show terminology)

Marge: ‘No snacks! Dinner will be ready in 3 minutes.’

All said together: ‘OH!’

Lisa: ‘If she started dinner three minutes earlier, we wouldn’t be in this mess.’

Bart: ‘Relax, Lis. Dad and I always have a ‘Plan B’ ‘

Homer opens one of the couch cushions, and loads of chocolate bars fall to the floor. Homer and Bart then proceed to eat them.

Bart: ‘Pretty neat, huh?’

Lisa: ‘But all those candy bars are all squished and melted.’

Bart and Homer: ‘Wha?’

Homer: ‘Come on, Lisa. Join your family.’

Lisa goes on her knees and tries to eat a squished and melted chocolate bar.

Skipping a scene, the quote starts 13 minutes and 33 seconds into the episode:

Lisa: ‘No!’

Bart: ‘No’ what?’

Lisa: ‘I don’t want to turn out that way.’

Homer: ‘What way, angel pie?’

Lisa: ‘Like you!’ (Lisa then runs away to her room.)

Later, Marge, Homer, and Bart are at the dinner table.

Marge: ‘Lisa, come on. Your tomato soup is getting a skin on top.’

Homer: ‘Fine. She doesn’t get her skin.’

Bart: ‘Lisa insulted us, mom. She thinks she is so great.’

The 2nd ‘Simpsons’ episode is near end of episode 30.6 ‘From Russia Without Love’ from animated tv show ‘The Simpsons(2018)’. In that scene, Moe is about to get married to Anastasia Alekova(Ksenia Solo). The episode is available streaming from Amazon.com, and according to Amazon Video, that scene starts 18 minutes and 7 seconds into the episode. Here is the quote:

Moe: ‘Ana, is this true?’

Anastasia: ‘No. It’s just another one of their stupid pranks. My sweet Moe, there is no way to fake what we have.’

Moe: ‘Oh, I can’t do it. I-I just, I can’t risk another heartbreak. I’m… I’m sorry.’

Skipping ahead to 18 minutes and 38 seconds into the episode:

So, here’s the story: If you are an adult, your job may have taught you or made available to you convenient perspectives so that you can do your job. For example, there was episode 3.13 ‘Wilderness + Training + Survival’ in action tv show ‘Macgyver(2019)’ where Mac, Riley, and Bozer go on a weekend of survival training. That was just an illustration example I can think of. I was thinking more along the lines of a sci-fi tv show like ‘Buck Rogers’. Also, college graduates may be given a job that will really be changing their perspectives, which I think is normal. Their parents may visit them from time to time to check on their progress, as those college graduates are being trained by their new jobs. However, if you are a kid or teenager, and since it is 2019, it’s possible that you are exploring perspectives that can re-define how you perceive your family and friends, and not for the better, since you are learning such perspectives on your own. That’s why I offered you the ‘Lisa the Simpson’ illustration. You don’t want to lose control as to how you perceive your family and friends, how you perceive others in your primary perspective lifestyle. You might end up seeing them like Lisa sees her family in that scene.

I recommend that you should practice shuffling perspectives, so that you can learn other perspectives, and be able to go back to your original ‘home’ perspective. So, to give you an example of that, I offer you those scenes from episode ‘From Russia Without Love’, how Anastasia Alekova does it. I’m not recommending that you become her. I just want you to have an example of a person that is able to change his/her perspective.

[Wow, it’s already 8:09 PM EST for me. I’m going to finish this list early tomorrow. If I have to, if it takes too long for me to find yet another music video, I’m just going to throw one in. Of course, I plan to close this list by tomorrow and also start the next list by tomorrow. So, if you are there, I’ll see you then.

Salutations!

It is now 9:08 AM EST for me. It took me what seemed like over an hour, but for this list, I recommend music video ‘So Am I’ by American singer Ava Max. I found that music video from the 1st page when you type in www.youtube.com. It’s 10 categories down, the category called ‘#RedMusic’. It was originally in that category, but I think it moved. So, to find it again, I had to click the word ‘#RedMusic’, and in ‘#RedMusic’s home page, it was in category ‘Recent activities’, and where I found music video ‘So Am I’ was in selection ‘Top 100 Today’s Most Listened Songs – May 2019’. The song was listed at #61. I looked at the previews of all of those songs, and then I finally chose the music video ‘So Am I’. I’ve seen that music video preview before in other previews, but since I spent so much time in this preview, I decided to choose ‘So Am I’ because of it’s synchronized dancing. There were inadequacies involved, so to speak, reasons why I would not choose that music video to be recommended, but the synchronized dancing allowed me to keep watching it.

Here are a few quotes from www.wikipedia.org:

‘ Max has said the song is about what makes people unique and different from each other. ‘

‘ Billboard called the song a “bouncy, pop-heavy anthem” with lyrics about “navigating your adolescent years”. ‘

And here is a quote from lyrics ‘So Am I’:

Do you ever feel like a misfit?
Everything inside you is dark and twisted
Oh, but it’s okay to be different
‘Cause baby, so am I (so am I, so am I, so am I-I-I-I-I)

The music video premiered Mar 7, 2019, about 2 1/2 months ago, and already it has over 42 million views! Even though I don’t like the music video that much, I try to give credit where credit is due.

Diversity and obligation:

It’s now 9:35 AM for me. Here’s the ‘Diversity and obligation’ idea in the form of a story: For one particular project, the boss/supervisor has 12 teams, each pitching different project approaches. You may imagine 12 people in a photograph all individually pointing in different directions. Each person in the photo is pointing at one thing, but no one is pointing at the same thing. and you could imagine them like you were zooming in on them or separating them. What I mean is, if you want to see them all in one image, you can squish them together, or give them more space as they all point at something else. Their pointing represents their team’s individual pitching approach. Now, when the boss/supervisor finally chooses one project approach, all of the other teams, in spite of their differences, will have to choose to support/work with that chosen approach. This method allows the teams to develop their sense of diversity and obligation.

I have no name for this idea. It’s an exercise to help balance more how you experience mild to moderate instigation. When you use this exercise, which involves a casual imagining of people, you don’t have to imagine just instigators. I recommend that, for example, when you are in a public bus, you imagine people that are in that bus that you choose to imagine to be involved in that exercise. If it makes you feel better, within reason, imagine just about anyone you want to to be involved in this exercise.

This exercise involves a refurbished scene from the movie ‘Presumed Innocent(1990)’, starring Harrison Ford as Rusty Sabich, and Raul Julia as Sandy Stern. The movie is available streaming from Amazon.com as a rental and purchase, and according to Amazon.com, that scene starts 58 minutes and 56 seconds into the movie, Sandy Stern is talking to Rusty Sabich about the fact that Rusty chose Sandy to be his lawyer. Here is the quote:

Sandy Stern: ‘I’m flattered that you want me to represent you in this matter. You have been, my, uh, toughest adversary.’

So, basically, instead of Sandy Stern, you imagine anyone else, such as an instigator from school or work that you have minor problems with, or someone sharing the bus with you, etc, and that instigator has agreed to represent you as a lawyer. And to start you off, that instigator says to you quote:

instigator: ‘You have been, my, uh, toughest adversary.’

With the movie helping you a little, you may imagine that you are a lawyer, and that instigator for a short moment being your opposing lawyer for several cases, and you chose that instigator because you believe that he/she can represent you very well because of his/her resourcefulness. One reason why you may feel better when you imagine using this exercise is because you’re acknowledging a certain resourcefulness that the instigator has. Let me explain. Based on my experience extrapolated and using imagination, when you are working with an instigator, as you experience a minor instigation from that instigator, your ability to acknowledge the resourcefulness of that instigator also wanes. Although I only imagine this situation, I find it ironic and insulting that instigators blame their victims for not acknowledging their job related resourcefulness, when in reality it’s their obvious instigations inflicted upon innocent people that causes those innocent people to have a waning sense to not be able to acknowledge the job related resourcefulness of an instigator.

Since I’m just using words, tv shows, movies, etc. to teach you these ideas, an entertaining illustration this past Sunday, May 19, when my lower right side of my back was bothering me, since staying in bed may make it worse, I chose to stay on my feet for over 4 hours that day. During that time, I basically just fast forwarded through seasons 2-4 of tv show ‘Casual(2015-2018)’, starring Tommy Dewey as Alex Cole. They were available streaming from Amazon.com. I set up the laptop by adding boxes underneath it so that I can watch it standing up. I’m not recommending that you watch the show for this blog, and the show does have mature themes. I did not watch any episode in it’s entirety. I only fast forward to scenes that I thought were interesting to watch. This is the 1st time that I looked through seasons 2-4. Anyway, there is a scene in one of the episodes where one of the main characters, Laura Meyers(Tara Lynne Barr), is choosing to recognize a certain resourcefulness/characteristic of certain pedestrians in order to get them to sign a petition. I thought you may want to have an illustration example of someone making an obvious declaration of someone else’s resourcefulness, refurbished for advice, of course. That scene is in episode 3.5 ‘Look at Me’ from tv show ‘Casual(2017)’. I’ll quote some of the things that she has said to certain pedestrians. That scene starts, according to Amazon Video, 5 minutes and 2 seconds into the episode. Here is the quote:

Laura Meyers: (talking to a girl) ‘Aren’t you just the cutest! (talking to the mom) ‘What’s her name?’

Mom: ‘Oh, Holly.’

Laura Meyers: ‘No way. That’s my mom’s name.’

Mom: ‘Oh, really?’

Laura Meyers: ‘Yeah, after Buddy Holly.’

Mom: ‘I love Buddy Holly.’

Laura Meyers: ‘Me, too.’

Mom: ‘Hey, okay. I know you’ve been talking to Tracy(Jeremy Lawson) here, but would you mind signing my petition sheet? You know, I’m just trying to prove to my mom that I can do this. You know, and it would just mean a lot to me.’

Mom: ‘Of course. Good for you for taking the initiative.’

Laura Meyers: (talking to girl) ‘Whoa, those are some cool shoes. They’re kind of like mine, only yours are sparkly, which makes them way cooler. I’m jealous.’ (talking to mom) ‘Thank you. Really appreciate it.’

Mom: ‘No problem.’

Laura: ‘Bye, Holly!’

Tracy: ‘Have a great day.’

Before aligning viagra buy in usa try for more now to an online directory for increasing link popularity, it is important to judge whether a directory has sold its services to a networking unit. It may be associated with surgery or caused by inflammation, tumor, calculus or neurogenic cute-n-tiny.com prescription for cialis purchase factors. While women also suffer this kind of issues in their lives by the successful implementation of these drugs. viagra without prescription free

The next scene starts 5 minutes and 57 seconds into the episode. This is where several examples of Laura acknowledging the resourcefulness of others occur:

Laura: (talking to pedestrian geared up to ride a bike) ‘Wow, bikes always remind me of my dad. Hey, will you sign this petition?’

Laura: (talking to another pedestrian) ‘Wow, that’s a great shirt.’

Laura: (talking to two women) ‘I mean, like, Arizona in August. You can’t even wear black. That’s LA in 20 years if we don’t get to work.’

Laura: (talking to man) ‘Is global warming a Chinese conspiracy? I’m not a scientist. But if you sign this, I get 65 cents, and it’ll help get rid of my awful tattoo.’

So, going back to the ‘Presumed Innocent’ example, to feel better from time to time, just imagine that instigator or whoever being that lawyer that you want to represent you in court. Have that instigator say quote:

instigator or whoever: ‘You have been, my, uh, toughest adversary.’

or something like that, just imagine the meaning, you don’t have to imagine the words, and that’s the exercise. You should feel better when doing that exercise. Just choose the instigators that have instigated you for only mild to moderate situations. In other words, only choose instigators for this exercise that you believe will actually benefit you when you imagine them being your lawyer, and of course you can choose other people as well who have not instigated you.

Heart rate and adrenaline:

Here is the definition of the word ‘adrenaline’ from www.dictionary.com: ‘a hormone that is secreted by the adrenal medulla in response to stress and increases heart rate, pulse rate, and blood pressure, and raises the blood levels of glucose and lipids.’, and ‘adrenaline plays a very large role in the fight or flight reaction, which refers to the various processes that occur within the body when it is confronted with some form of mental or physical stress.’

I invented idea ‘Heart rate and adrenaline’ from a scene in episode 1.2 from tv series ‘A Discovery of Witches(2019)’. In that scene, Diana Bishop(Teresa Palmer), who has the potential to be the most powerful witch alive, is asking help from an old vampire named Matthew Clairmont(Matthew Goode). Here is a copy of the premise of the show from www.wikipedia.org:

‘ Diana Bishop, a historian and reluctant witch, unexpectedly discovers a bewitched manuscript in Oxford’s Bodelian Library. This discovery forces her back into the world of magic in order to unravel the secrets it holds about magical beings. She is offered help by mysterious geneticist and vampire, Matthew Clairmont. Despite a long-held mistrust between witches and vampires they form an alliance and set out to protect the book and solve the mysteries hidden within while dodging threats from the creature world. ‘

Episode 1.2 of ‘A Discovery of Witches’ is available streaming from Amazon.com. If you have cable tv, you should also have that episode available On Demand, but you may not be able to fast forward to that scene. The scene, according to Amazon Video, starts 31 minutes and 50 seconds into the episode, Diana Bishop is asking help from Matthew Clairmont. The quote is made using the ‘Subtitles’ option on from the browser:

Diana Bishop: (Diana’s heart beat is beating rapidly) ‘You were right about creatures coming to look for the book. Peter Knox from the Congregation. And there was this Scandinavian witch. I don’t know — I don’t know who she was.’

Matthew Clairmont: (Matthew is still hearing Diana’s rapidly beating heart) ‘Try to calm down. Your adrenaline is very high.’

Diana Bishop: ‘You can smell my adrenaline?’

Matthew Clairmont: ‘Of course I can.’ (heartbeat slowing)

Diana Bishop: (Exhales deeply)

Matthew Clairmont: ‘Thank you. Why did you come to me? Last time I saw you, you said you never wanted to see me again.’

Diana Bishop: ‘I have no one else to talk to.’

Matthew Clairmont: ‘You must have friends.’

Diana Bishop: ‘None I can trust.’

Before I watched that scene, I planned to explain an idea I call ‘Panic’, but I found it difficult to explain, difficult to quantify in order for men to use it. What I mean is, I don’t think women have trouble articulating when they experience a sense of panic. However, after watching that ‘A Discovery of Witches’ scene, I can now quantify something that both men and women can relate to, heart beat and adrenaline. Keep in mind that Diana is just asking Matthew for help. Even though in later episodes, they both choose to be in a relationship, for that scene, nothing has happened between them, like a patient consulting with a doctor. That means, if you choose to, you should be able to easily use that scene on anyone without refurbishing it that much. Here’s how to use it: If you believe you are experiencing some sort of minor instigation that is affecting somewhat your heart rate and adrenaline use, you just have to feel that it is, the experience doesn’t have to actually noticeably affect your heart rate and adrenaline use, maybe it just bothers you in a way that this advice may help you, you can just imagine Matthew Clairmont saying to you quote:

Matthew Clairmont: ‘Heart rate and adrenaline.’

That’s Matthew trying to help you calm down. If you are in a bus or some public establishment, and it’s safe to do so, you may even imagine Matthew Clairmont being there, and it is implied that he already said those words to you. There are so many different variations of instigation. Perhaps this exercise can help you with some? of those variations. I highly recommend that you watch that scene, in order to improve the effectiveness of this exercise.

30 Lacks:

As I said in the beginning of this list, it’s an example for idea ‘Not enough/lack/not adequate’, an idea I started to type in in Wishlist #1173, but I did not give you an explanation for it. I’ll start by giving you the illustrations 1st, and then I’ll explain the idea. The 1st illustration starts near the beginning of movie ‘The Upside(2017)’, starring Kevin Hart as Dell Scott. According to the dvd/Blu-ray mail service I am using, Blu-ray movie ‘The Upside’ was mailed to me 5/20/19. I watched it for the 1st time on 5/23/19, and I mailed it back yesterday. I’m going to quote several scenes from the beginning of the movie. The movie is available as a streaming rental and streaming purchase from Amazon.com, and according to Amazon Video, the 1st quote starts 5 minutes and 20 seconds into the movie, Dell Scott is talking to his parole officer, Pamela Davis(Kimberly S. Fairbanks).

Parole officer: ‘Where are the signatures?’

Dell Scott: ‘I’ve been looking. Trust me.’

Parole officer: ‘I’m not paid to trust you. Do you want to go back to prison?’

Dell Scott: ‘I didn’t belong in prison.’

Parole officer: ‘You need to prove you’re looking for work.’

Dell Scott: ‘I am. It’s just that the leads the computer keeps choosing for me, they’re not for me. The computer don’t know me. You don’t know me.’

Parole officer: ‘Well, I know you, Mr. Scott, and you need 3 signatures by tomorrow, or you can tell it to the judge.’

5 minutes and 54 seconds into the movie, Dell Scott goes for his 1st job. His original goal is to just get the signatures. However, the idea is that you’re supposed to try to get the job. If you can’t get the job, then they will give Dell Scott his signature. Here is the quote:

(There are no subtitles available for me for this movie from Amazon.com, so I’m just doing it by what I’m able to hear.)

Fast food manager(Tatiana St. Phard): ‘What does great? customer service mean to you?’

Dell Scott: ‘Doing the right thing, I don’t know.’

Fast food manager: ‘Tell me about a time when you worked hard to solve a problem.’

Dell Scott: ‘This morning. Getting up.’

Fast food manager: ‘Do you even want to work here?’

Dell Scott: ‘I just need a signature.’

Fast food manager: (gives him a signature)

6 minutes 13 seconds into the movie, Dell Scott applies for his 2nd job:

Data processing supervisor(Rachel Alana Handler): ‘Don’t give up.’ (Later, she gives him a signature)

6 minutes 24 seconds into the movie, Dell Scott applies for his 3rd job. Here’s a copy from the ‘Plot’ category from www.wikipedia.org as to what happened during that interview:

‘ …the recently paroled Dell is ordered to obtain signatures to prove he is seeking a job. He visits various workplaces, including the penthouse home of Philip(Bryan Cranston), a wealthy quadriplegic. Philip, with his assistant Yvonne Pendleton (Nicole Kidman), is interviewing candidates for the position of his “life auxiliary” caregiver. Dell barges in and demands a signature for his parole officer. Intrigued, Philip offers him the job, but Dell declines. ‘

The next quote starts 24 minutes and 9 seconds into the movie, Yvonne is about to give Dell Scott the ‘3 Strikes’ rule when working with Philip Lacasse. The scene starts 24 minutes and 9 seconds into the movie. Here is the quote:

Dell Scott: ‘Well, he don’t seem to think these the wrong hands. He picked them.’

Yvonne: ‘And why do you think he picked you?’

Dell Scott: ‘Because I’m the best candidate.’

Yvonne: ‘Because you were the worst candidate by far. Let’s just call this what it is. It’s a game. And this game, you get 3 strikes. That’s the agreement I made with him.’

The 2nd scene is in episode 2.5 ‘Bicycle Thieves’ from comedy tv show ‘Casual(2016)’. Alex Cole is talking to his partner and boss Jordan Anderson(Vincent Kartheiser), a venture capitalist. The episode is available streaming from Amazon.com, and according to Amazon Video, that scene starts 12 minutes and 18 seconds into the episode. Here is the quote, edited for advice:

Jordan Anderson: ‘Dude.’

Alex Cole: ‘What?’

Jordan Anderson: ‘It’s 11:30.’

Alex Cole: ‘Maybe I don’t like coming in at 9:00, okay? Maybe I think it’s a holdover for when children worked 16 hours a day at the smelting mill.’

Jordan Anderson: ‘Okay, man, what’s going on with you?’

Alex Cole: ‘You’ve been on my back all week, and it’s getting tired.’

Jordan Anderson: ‘Seriously?’

Alex Cole: ‘Yeah, seriously. And I know Sarah told you some big story about us, but it doesn’t mean you have to treat me like a leper.’

Jordan Anderson: ‘Okay, yeah. Sarah told me you dated, and all she said was that you had a nice relationship, until some stuff went down with your family.’

Alex Cole: ‘Wait, what?’

Jordan Anderson: ‘But you know what, Alex? I don’t care. Okay? I knew your reputation before I came on board, and it didn’t stop me.’

Alex Cole: ‘What reputation?’

Jordan Anderson: (chuckles) ‘Come on, man. You can’t be that naive.’

Alex Cole: ‘Are we cool?’

Jordan Anderson: ‘We’re business partners. Let’s just shoot for, uh, civil.’

The idea I invented called ’30 lacks’ is based on what Jordan Anderson said to Alex Cole. Here is the phrase:

‘ Jordan Anderson: ‘But you know what, Alex? I don’t care. Okay? I knew your reputation before I came on board, and it didn’t stop me.’ ‘

So this is how it starts. Since this idea is an example for idea ‘Not enough/lack/not adequate’, I’m going to use the word ‘lack’ to identify a rejection, a disqualification, something that is deemed unacceptable. The example for ‘lack’ starts near the beginning of movie ‘The Upside’. Dell Scott needs 3 signatures to give his parole officer, and so, in the 1st job he applies for, he causes the fast food manager to have a ‘lack’ so that he can get his signature. In the 2nd job Dell Scott applies for, he also causes the data processing supervisor to have a ‘lack’ so that he can get his signature. But in the 3rd job Dell Scott applies for, he eventually chooses to work there. However, Yvonne, his supervisor, said that if he gets 3 ‘lacks’, she has the authority to fire him. Yvonne originally called them ‘3 strikes’, but I converted the ‘strikes’ into ‘lacks’.

And that is when I used the scene, ‘Bicycle Thieves’, from tv show ‘Casual’, that quote:

‘ Jordan Anderson: ‘But you know what, Alex? I don’t care. Okay? I knew your reputation before I came on board, and it didn’t stop me.’ ‘

And this is what I imagined Jordan Anderson did to achieve that perspective, that ‘I don’t care. Okay? I knew your reputation before I came on board, and it didn’t stop me.’ perspective. The movie ‘The Upside’ presented a very short fuse. Even when Dell Scott chose to work for Philip Lacasse, Yvonne only gave him 3 ‘lacks’. If he acquired 3 ‘lacks’, he would get fired. Now, in Jordan Anderson’s case, I imagined him giving all of his employees 30 ‘lacks’, but these lacks are non instigation related, and even though these lacks are seriously obvious in his mind, he doesn’t allow those lacks to be an issue for his employees to do their jobs. That’s why he acts so cheery in the beginning episodes of his tv show appearance. And, of course, he never actually brings those lacks up to the attention of anyone. In fact, the only time an employee brought even a few of them up as it pertains to that employee was that scene in episode ‘Bicycle Thieves’. Alex Cole is the 1st employee/business partner to actually bring a few of those lacks to the attention of Jordan Anderson.

I believe that what I imagined Jordan Anderson did, that ’30 lacks’ trick, could allow you to more tenably experience unavoidable instigation, since, if you use that idea, you already have experience not making an issue ’30 lacks’ that are not instigation related. So, for example, if you use the ’30 lacks’ idea, you allow the students in your school or the employees in your job to have 30 obvious lacks, and these lacks are not used as an issue as it relates to working with them, or going to school with them, just like refurbished for advice Jordan Anderson did. Keep in mind that, when you use this idea, you should not expect other people to actually bring it to your attention, since those 30 lacks are just used as part of your private technique strategy, and is not meant to be presented to others. And if an employee or another student bring a few of their lacks to your attention? The effectiveness of the idea is what matters, how you use it. And, of course, you don’t have to actually imagine 30 lacks for every employee/student. Just think of the idea and use it, and I believe it should give you more slack when evaluating others, or when you are experience some mild to moderate instigations. Also, to say again, keep in mind that those 30 lacks are non instigation related.

[It’s 3:32 PM for me now. I’m finally going to proofread and finish this idea. Because of the time, I’m going to start the next list probably next Saturday. I can’t believe it took me this long to finish this idea. These ideas, however, I believe may be useful to you, and may improve your chances to find more useful the next idea I plan to offer you. So, if you are there next Saturday, I’ll see you then.

Aloha!

It is now 4:33 PM EST for me. I feel normalish now, but something happened again to my lower back this past Saturday, 5/18. The next day, I remembered what the doctor told me when I experienced acute low back pain, the doctor from the hospital. She said to not stay in bed. Move around as much as you reasonably can. So, I stayed on my feet for over 4 hours, and I watched a tv show that was streaming on Amazon.com. The next day, Monday, I felt pretty good, but I still managed to schedule to see the back doctor that day. The treatment that was agreed upon was to do another epidural, but for the right side of my lower back, since that was the side of my back that was bothering me this past Saturday and Sunday. That treatment was scheduled for this coming Thursday. And even though I feel like I can go to work, I don’t want to take a chance that the back problem may occur while I am working. Also, since my back injury was relatively recent, I’ll just take a few days off to be on the safe side, get the epidural Thursday, and then I can just go to work without any problems.

The reason I said that is because that means I can spend more time in this blog. I started late today, but I have hopes that I can finish at least this list by tomorrow. I think I spend over and hour looking for this music video. I finally checked in www.youtube.com the category ‘Top 40 Songs of The Week’ for May 25, 2019 from the UK BBC Chart from TopMusicMafia. Just search for phrase ‘topmusicmafia UK May 2019’ in www.youtube.com, and it should be one of the 1st selections offered. It provides a very short preview of the music video associated with most of the 40 songs, and from that preview, I selected music video ‘Just You and I’ by Scottish singer-songwriter Tom Walker. According to the preview, it is #14. www.wikipedia.org says very little about the music video. Here is the quote:

‘ The music video was directed by Ollie Wolf and was also released in January 2019. It features a couple who wake up handcuffed together. ‘

The 2 reasons I recommended the music video ‘Just You and I’ is because, 1)according to wikipedia and the preview, the song itself seems to be liked by many people, and 2)I thought you might be interested to see 2 people trying to move around in public handcuffed together. If you choose to watch the music video, than here are a few comments: I thought it was interesting seeing them using the bathroom together. The music video showed the man trying to be courteous and considerate as the woman was sitting on the toilet. Later, as they were outside, notice that they could not place their jackets on completely, since they were handcuffed. 1 minute and 20 seconds into the music video, I think it was the singer Tom Walker himself who tried to walk by them, but since they were handcuffed, the moment was kind of awkward for the couple to let him pass. At the end of the music video, I’m not sure, but I think it’s the locksmith that showed the couple the solution to their problem. You may find it interesting to watch the music video, to see how 2 people interact publicly while handcuffed.

To watch music video ‘Just You and I’ for free, search for phrase ‘just you and i tom walker’ in www.youtube.com, and it should be one of the 1st selections offered, with over 22 million views. It was published on Jan 11, 2019, over 4 months ago. Here’s a quote from the lyrics:

‘Cause my darling, you and I
Could take over the world
And one step at a time,
Just you and I
(Just you and I)
‘Cause you’re the only one,
Who brings light just like the sun
One step at a time
Just you and I
(Just you and I)

I watched the music video ‘Just You and I’ for the 1st time less than an hour ago.

Add more time:

I’m assuming that if you are reading this blog, than it’s likely that you have your own personal technique to govern certain experiences, including instigations. Idea ‘Add more time’ tries to address what may happen if you are in the process of making a logical discovery, but the instigation and/or inadvertency that you have experienced is discouraging you from completing that discovery awareness. For example, when you are learning things that are related to what you are supposed to learn in school and work, you are somewhat accomodated to learn those things. However, how is your personal technique accomodated? If you are making a certain idea using your personal technique, and let’s say circumstantially the instigator knows you are contemplationally discovering something, than it’s possible that the instigator may make it difficult for you to complete that discovery in your mind by imposing an adversely demanding short time frame expectation for you to complete such a discovery in your mind. For example, while you are making such a discovery, the instigator at school or at work interrupts you, and that interruption imposes a short time frame expectation for you to complete that discovery.

If you choose to use this advice, the solution I recommend when you are in such a situation is to keep in mind to add more time to your attempted discoveries of learning, for the discoveries that you choose to add time to. That way, in my opinion, you will be able to learn more, even though the instigation(s) experienced discourage you from doing so. If you choose to use this idea, based on my experience extrapolated, it’s going to feel awkward at first. It is my belief that being able to sense the awkwardness and/or discouragements within reason that discourage you from adding time to certain attempted discoveries will allow you to have more tolerance to add more time to such attempted discoveries in the future.

The only illustration I can think of right now that supports my proposed idea to you, refurbished of course, is in episode 1.10 ‘The Corbomite Maneuver’ from sci-fi tv show ‘Star Trek: The Original Series(1966)’. If memory serves, the Enterprise cannot defend itself against a certain alien ship, and so, Captain Kirk(William Shatner) is trying to bluff his way out of trouble. According to www.dictionary.com, in reference to the card game Poker, the word ‘bluff’ means ‘to deceive by a show of confidence in the strength of one’s cards’. Here is a quote from that scene from www.wikipedia.org:

‘ Asked for his opinion, Spock compares the situation to a game of chess: “When one player is outmatched, the game is over.” Kirk, inspired by an argument with McCoy, replies that the answer is not chess, but poker. He then tells Balok that the Enterprise contains “corbomite”, a protective substance that automatically destroys any attacker. Balok apparently falls for the ruse and does not destroy the ship. ‘

The scene is available streaming from Amazon.com. If you have Amazon Prime, that scene is available without additional payment. The scene starts 29 minutes and 40 seconds into the episode, Kirk tries to talk to the alien Balok(Clint Howard) by giving Balok his Corbomite warning. Of course, I recommend that you actually watch that scene, refurbished for advice, but I’ll also type the words in:

Kirk: ‘This is the Captain of the Enterprise. Our respect for other life-forms requires that we give you this warning. One critical item of information that has never been incorporated into the memory banks of any Earth ship. Since the early years of space exploration, Earth vessels have had incorporated into them a substance known as corbomite. It is a material and a device which prevents attack on us. If any destructive energy touches our vessel, a reverse reaction of equal strength is created, destroying…’

Balok: ‘You now have two minutes.’

Kirk: ‘…destroying the attacker. It may interest you to know that since the initial use of corbomite more than two of our centuries ago, no attacking vessel has survived the attempt. Death has little meaning to us. If it has none to you, then attack us now. We grow annoyed at your foolishness.’

Soon after Kirk said that to Balok, Spock(Leonard Nimoy) said these words to Kirk, 31 minutes and 10 seconds into the episode:

Spock: (shaking his head to indicate that it did not work) ‘However, it was well played.’

It’s not an exact match, but even though Kirk was interrupted, he still continued to explain to Balok his corbomite warning. You even have Spock complimenting Kirk’s efforts:

Spock: ‘However, it was well played.’

I’d say, refurbished for advice, that it’s a useful scene to look at, if you are considering to add more time to certain pending discoveries.

[It’s 6:55 PM EST for me now. I’m going to stop now and continue tomorrow. I should be able to at least finish this list by tomorrow. Maybe I’ll even finish another list by tomorrow.

Salutations!

It is now 7:22 AM EST for me. Before I begin, I want to say that yesterday’s illustration, Star Trek’s ‘The Corbomite Maneuver’, is not to be used literally. To be direct, it is not my intent to teach kids to lie. In my opinion, when people say to each other that ‘you’re bluffing’, and Kirk was bluffing to Balok, bluffing in my opinion can be interpreted as just another variation of what a lie is. In the episode, the Enterprise does not have any corbomite ability. The reason I offered you that illustration, refurbished, is so that you can add more time to your attempted contemplation discoveries. For example, when Balok said quote: ‘You now have two minutes.’, that interrupted Kirk’s corbomite explanation. However, even though Kirk was interrupted, he still continued to explain his corbomite warning to Balok. Spock even complimented Kirk’s efforts. Balok’s interruption, refurbished, can represent an instigator interrupting your ability to contemplationally make a discovery, and you can use Kirk’s continued efforts to explain as an example to allow yourself to have some added time to your own efforts to continue your contemplation based discoveries, even though you were interrupted by an instigator, and the interruption can represent a more specific reason as to how the instigation discouraged your ability to make discoveries. I am not trying to teach you to lie. According to www.dictionary.com, a ‘lie’ is ‘a false statement made with deliberate intent to deceive; an intentional untruth; a falsehood’.

Before I give you my recommendation for today’s music video, I want to say that I made this music video acceptable for me to watch by using an idea that I originally invented for experiencing certain instigations. It’s an idea that I plan to explain in the next list or the list after that. Using an oversimplified explanation, this idea allocates verifying identities that may seem definitive in your contemplation responses to what you are exposed to perceive, or what you choose to perceive. Although it’s original purpose is to use it on instigation and it’s related inadvertencies, apparently to me you can also use it for example if you have chosen to change your perspective, and you are still acclimating to certain aspects of that new perspective. And that’s what I’ve done to the music video that I’m about to recommend to you. Of course, according to the sources available to me in the internet, it’s a popular music video, and it’s a popular song. However, like many things in life, it’s usefulness is also determined by the beholder. So, if you chose to watch the music video, but you don’t like it, you may choose to like it with the new idea I plan to give you 1 or 2 lists from now.

I found the music video in www.youtube.com using category ‘Top 40 Songs of The Week’, May 25, 2019, the same category used yesterday. Today, I choose #20, and the music video is from song ‘Talk’ by American singer Khalid. Here is a quote about song ‘Talk’ from www.wikipedia.org:

‘ “Talk” became Khalid’s fifth top 10 hit in the US, peaking at number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100. ‘

‘ Khalid described “Talk” as the first taste of his second album, with the song’s theme being “the beginning honeymoon stages of a relationship”. Rap-Up said the song finds the singer “navigating the waters of a relationship” ‘

Wikipedia doesn’t say anything about the music video for song ‘Talk’, and when I watched it for the 1st time earlier today, I saw a lot of synchronized dancing, and I saw a few images of a couple that looks like they plan to get married eventually. At 1st I had trouble accepting the music video for this blog because of the consistent red used in the beginning of the music video. But after I used my new idea, I liked watching it. It just took me 20 seconds or so to allow the idea’s use to allocate certain verifying definitives that I experienced, that I chose to allocate.

To watch music video ‘Talk’ for free, search for phrase ‘talk khalid’ in www.youtube.com, and it should be one of the 1st selections offered, with over 73 million views. The music video was published on Mar 11, 2019, over 2 months ago. And here is a quote from the lyrics of song ‘Talk’:

Can’t we just talk?
Can’t we just talk?
Talk about where we’re goin’
Before we get lost
Lend me your thoughts
Can’t get what we want without knowin’
I’ve never felt like this before
I apologize if I’m movin’ too far

See (urge):

It’s now 9:46 AM for me. I’m going to start explaining idea ‘See (urge) using a story of a person who is using the ‘Sour face’ idea I gave in Wishlist #1038. In my opinion, idea ‘Sour face’ is probably the best primer idea I’ve invented. I imagined that the kids that read and used that idea experienced an epiphany that lasted over 2 months on the average. So, here’s the explanation: Let’s say an adult that chose to use the idea ‘Sour face’ after several years, while that adult experienced something while working, that adult’s facial expression resembled something that could be described as a ‘sour face’, and that adult thought to himself/herself ‘At least the sour face idea still works.’

Now, that adult has been using that ‘sour face’ idea ‘on and off’ for at least 2 years now. According to this blog, I offered that idea on March 9, 2016. From time to time, even though the ‘sour face’ idea still works, there are moments when it doesn’t work at all. For example, when experiencing a minor instigation, it doesn’t have to be a direct conversation, but it is still something that is experienced at work, it is as if the experience of that minor instigation goes right into that adult’s brain, and that adult cannot stop it. I identified such an experience by using words ‘See (urge)’. Soon after you use that idea, you may eventually just contemplationally call it ‘See’. You may identify such an instigation and/or inadvertency as something that you are ‘seeing’, something that is identified by your ability to perceive.

The best illustration example I can think of is from the movie ‘Topsy-Turvy(1999)’. It’s from actor Steve Speirs’ performance as Mr. Kent. Unfortunately, Amazon.com and google.play don’t have the movie available streaming. Other services may have it, but they require you to install their software in order to watch it. Purchasing the movie ‘Topsy-Turvy is available from Amazon.com, but that’s about 30 dollars, and I’m not recommending that you need to buy that movie, especially at that price. So, the best I can do now is explain Mr. Kent’s performance from memory and refurbished for advice. I can provide a quote from www.imdb.com. To find that actual quote, just select movie ‘Topsy-Turvy’ from www.imdb.com, click ‘See full cast’, and near the bottom, you should find Steve Speirs, then click his character’s name, Mr. Kent, and that should lead you to a quote link from www.imdb.com for the movie ‘Topsy-Turvy’ that has Mr. Kent. I’m just giving you a partial quote:

Mr. Kent : I am not a party to this, Mr. Gilbert.

Gilbert : Ah, Mr. Kent, as ever the sole voice of reason!

Based on how I remember the movie ‘Topsy-Turvy’, when Mr. Kent complains, his complaints tend to ‘rock the boat’, so to speak. He complains in a situation when others are listening, and even though a few of the men in that situation try to diffuse Mr. Kent’s complaining with a few jokes, Mr. Kent’s complaining tends to give the impression of threatening the jobs of those who listen to his complaining. And for some reason, the other employees who are listening cannot stop Mr. Kent’s complaining from going right into their heads. Movie ‘Topsy-Turvy’ has a link in www.wikipedia.org. The movie takes place in 1884 England. It’s like the tv show ‘Downton Abbey’, if you know what that is.

So, if you experience an instigation that seems to go right into your minds, even though you have a technique to deal with it, you may contemplatonally still identify it by using the phrase ‘See’, that you are able to ‘see’ it, that your sense of perceiving identifies it. It is like an urge to see it, but it’s an urge that you don’t want to commit to. The definition of ‘urge’ I’m using from www.dictionary.com is ‘to exert a driving or impelling force; give an impulse to hasten or action: And the sentence example is: ‘Hunger urges.’

I already explained ‘False sense/impression of knowing’ in Wishlist #1172, and idea ‘False physical response’ is a different idea from idea ‘Response’ that was explained in Wishlist #1171. Once you know both meanings, you can call them both ‘Response’ if you want to. What I did here was try to create 3 separate categories, 1)’False sense of knowing’, 2)’Not enough…’, and 3)’False physical response’, instead of putting everything in the category of ‘False sense of knowing’. All 3 categories are still part of the ‘Verify’ idea that I introduced to you in Wishlist #1171. Once you know all 3 categories, you can contemplationally shuffle the phrases to cope with instigation. Here’s the explanation for the 2nd category, ‘Not enough…’:

Not enough: Lack: Not adequate:

It is now 12:39 PM for me. I ordered and ate some Chinese food. When I invented idea ‘Not enough’, I used a scene from one of the James Bond movies starring Pierce Brosnan as James Bond. I thought the name of the movie was ‘The World Is Not Enough(1999)’, and I remember that I imagined many adults watching the music video intro of movie ‘The World Is Not Enough’ many times in order to find some sort of hidden meaning, or use it to make their own, inspired meanings for the instigation woes that they may have already experienced. And that is how I used the illustration in my mind. I thought the illustration was in the movie ‘The World Is Not Enough’, and that helped me to create idea ‘Not enough: lack: not adequate’. I just found out less than half an hour ago that I was wrong. The actual illustration is in the movie ‘Die Another Day(2002)’. So, I’ll tell you where the actual illustration is, and you may choose to put it together like I originally did.

You don’t have to buy the streaming movie from Amazon.com. These James Bond movies are probably available to rent from your cable tv service for a lot cheaper than purchasing it from Amazon.com, or you can just program you cable box to see if it’s available to record. If you watched it already, you can just use the description I’ll give you. So, the movie is available as a streaming purchase from Amazon.com, and according to Amazon Video, that scene starts 59 minutes and 30 seconds into the movie. The scene starts with Gustav Graves(Toby Stevens) talking to James Bond and Miranda Frost(Rosamund Pike), but the actual scene is when James Bond and Miranda Frost are talking. Here is the quote:

Gustav Graves: ‘Look, I’m putting on a little scientific demonstration in Iceland at the weekend. Icarus? Perhaps you could join us. Miranda, make the arrangements, would you?

Miranda Frost: ‘Once I’ve smoothed things over with the club.’

Gustav Graves: ‘What would I do without you?’ (Gustav Graves leaves, allowing Miranda Frost and James Bond to talk.)

James Bond: ‘Can I expect the pleasure of you in Iceland?’ (I’m assuming that when Mr. Bond said ‘pleasure’, he meant that Miranda Frost just attending the demonstration with the possibility of him talking to her in an acceptable context as it relates to the demonstration in Iceland would be a pleasant experience.)

Miranda Frost: ‘I’m afraid you’ll never have that pleasure, Mr. Bond.’

James Bond: (Bond responding as if he was hurt by what Miranda Frost had just said).

That is the illustration response refurbished for advice used for idea ‘Not enough’, ‘Lack’, and ‘Not adequate’, when James Bond responded as if he was hurt by what Miranda Frost had just said. Even though his response may at 1st seem juvenile and immature, when you choose to use ideas ‘Not enough’, ‘Lack’, and ‘Not adequate’, you may extrapolate upon his response. For example, James Bond is a government agent, even though that authority is only a depiction in a James Bond movie.

I find it difficult right now to explain idea ‘Not enough’, since I’m now using a new idea that doesn’t seem to require it’s use. I’ll try to explain it later.

False physical response:

Idea ‘False physical response’ was made from a scene from movie ‘Unfinished Business(2015)’. I’ll just make a copy of the quote from Wishlist #1172:

‘ It is from the comedy drama movie ‘Unfinished Business(2015)’, starring Vince Vaughn as Dan Trunkman, and Ella Anderson as Bess Trunkman. In this illustration, Bess Trunkman is asking her dad, Dan Trunkman, a question. The movie is available streaming from Amazon.com, and according to Amazon Video, that scene starts 9 minutes and 50 seconds into the movie. Here is the quote:

Bess Trunkman: ‘Can I ask you a question before you go?’

Dan Trunkman: ‘Oh honey, my plane’s gonna– Is it a little question?’

Bess Trunkman: ‘Kind of.’

Dan Trunkman: ‘Okay, yeah. What is your little question?’

Bess Trunkman: ‘When I go to school, I don’t like to go to school at all. It makes my stomach hurt. The jokes hurt my feelings. I cry in the bathroom, and pretend to poop for… I don’t know, two hours.’

Dan Trunkman: ‘That’s not even… I mean… Is that a question? Okay, I know that school can be hard, honey. But you gotta go, or you’ll be a moron.’ (Dan then kisses his daughter’s forehead) ‘

The 2nd illustration helps with the explanation. That is near beginning of movie ‘Ready Player One(2018)’, when Wade Watts/Parzival(Tye Sheridan) is explaining what it’s like to collect coin and artifacts while playing the virtual game. The movie is available streaming from Amazon.com, and according to Amazon Video, that scene starts 6 minutes and 8 seconds into the movie. The people showed playing the game is what’s being used here, so it’s recommended that you watch that scene. Here is the quote:

Wade: ‘Artifacts. Those were key. Halliday made sure the OASIS was littered with enough randomly powered stuff that anyone could win if they had the skills. Matches and artifact hunts are a good way to coin-snatch, but depending on your level or armor, they’re risky. You see, everyone starts the same, but the more coin you make…’

boy: ‘Mom! Mom!’

Wade: ‘The more you level up. If your avatar in the game gets killed, your avatar can come back to life…’

Woman talking to her son: ‘Go get your dad!’

Wade: ‘…but you lose all your stuff. Everything you’ve ever worked for. All your money. Your clothes.’

Girl in bedroom at house(Sydney Browser): (after losing in game, she screams)

What Bess Trunkman said to her father, Dan Trunkman, in movie ‘Unfinished Business’, was what I used to make idea ‘False physical response’. Here is the quote:

Bess Trunkman: ‘When I go to school, I don’t like to go to school at all. It makes my stomach hurt. The jokes hurt my feelings. I cry in the bathroom, and pretend to poop for… I don’t know, two hours.’

This is the idea that I made from what Bess said: One of the reasons why Bess had trouble recovering from the jokes she experienced from a few of the other kids in school is that the jokes did not involve any physical contact from those other kids. So, when she tried to recover from those jokes, since there was no physical contact involved, she had difficulty trying to recover from an interaction that involved no physical contact. In other words, she was trying to resolve the question ‘How do I try to resolve being sick from an experience that had no obvious physical response involved?

The answer is that she did have a physical response involved. Like she said to her dad,

Bess Trunkman: ‘When I go to school, I don’t like to go to school at all. It makes my stomach hurt. The jokes hurt my feelings. I cry in the bathroom, and pretend to poop for… I don’t know, two hours.’

All that discomfort that she explained to her dad were physical responses that she experienced from those few kids that said those jokes to her. But because there was no actual physical contact involved, she could not make the connection that those jokes caused her to have those physical responses. To help understand what I just said, just look at that scene that I quoted from movie ‘Ready Player One’. I think the best scene is when the girl in the bedroom portrayed by actress Sydney Brower screamed after she lost her avatar in the game. She clearly had an obvious physical response to losing in the game, even though the impression of events in that virtual game did not actually happen in real life.

The solution I discovered is that those mild to moderate physical responses you get from certain mild to moderate instigations, if such instigations are out of context and not relevant, such as the ones experienced from school and at work, you are not obligated to commit to such physical responses. The reason why I think many people inadvertently commit to such physical responses is because there is no actual physical contact with the instigator as the innocent person experiences such physical responses caused by that instigator. I recommend you contemplationally say the phrase ‘False physical response’ so that you can more tenably choose to not commit, to not get involved, with such a misleading physical response. Of course, you still actually experienced a physical response, and if you need to recover from that, then reasonably do so. [5/22/2019: I am ‘now’ talking…5/22/2019] I am talking about the fact that the instigator is trying to define what that physical response is meant to be in your mind. For example, the kids that said those jokes to Bess Trunkman, clearly the impression that Bess Trunkman received from those few kids was that those jokes were meant to be insulting, and she was not supposed to feel good when she evaluates it’s associated physical response. An instigator causing you to experience a physical response is one thing; how you choose to evaluate that physical response can be another, separate thing, if you choose to do that.

So, to try to explain it another way, when an instigator causes you to have a physical response, and the response is from an out of context instigation, you can choose to not obligate yourself to that obvious impression that instigator wants that physical response to mean to you. In the very least, try to lessen it’s adverse effect! Just contemplationally say the phrase ‘False physical response’ to check if that physical response is bothering you, so that you can manage it better.

[It is now 3:55 PM EST for me. I am going to start proofreading this list, and then I’ll close it today. I don’t think I’ll start the next idea today. Since I’ve already had an epidural for the lower left side of my back, based on that experience, having an epidural for the lower right side of my back should be about the same amount of time. Of course, I’m not sure, but it’s not like there’s any stitches involved or anything. I’m having the epidural done tomorrow, and if all goes well, I can even go back to work the very next day. You don’t have to answer this, but I have a question for you, if you choose to have it: Do you think that me having the scheduled epidural tomorrow has anything to do with the idea that I plan to type in tomorrow? I speculate that my mind and my body is anticipating the procedure tomorrow, and that influenced my ability to explain whatever it is that I am going to explain tomorrow. I mean, it’s not like I just made the idea up recently. However, I did invent parts of it recently, and the basic idea of it I did invent only a few weeks ago. I am saying this to you so that you can have more to work with for your discoveries.

Wishlist #1172

Aloha!

It is now 11:30 AM EST for me. As usual, I used up a lot of time looking for a music video for this advice. I think it took me over 2 hours this time. I began my search in the ‘Music’ section in www.youtube.com, and after some compromising, I finally chose a music video from category ‘Music’ in www.youtube.com, sub-category ‘Popular Music Videos’. It is #159 in that category, last time I checked. It is the last category in ‘Music’. The song is called ‘Grateful’ by Mahalia. There is very little about her in www.wikipedia.org, but at least she does have a link there. Here is a quote:

Mahalia Burkmar better known by the stage name Mahalia (born 1 May 1998), is an English singer, songwriter and actress, based in Birmingham.

Mahalia is fromSyston, Charnwood, in Leicestershire.

She wrote her first song at age eight and signed a deal with a major record label at age thirteen.

Here’s an article from www.hotnewhiphop.com about Mahalia’ song ‘Grateful’:

‘ British vocalist Mahalia returns with a beautiful ode to love and transparency. In “Grateful” the singer politely asks her lover to be real about his feelings towards her. And although she is ready for his love, the singer wants him to know there’s no pressure. A smooth and serene instrumental accompanies the muse’s gentle vocals. This lyrics are relatable and will surely make you think about that special someone. ‘

Here’s a quote from the lyrics ‘Grateful’:

I don’t want to hide
I don’t want to hide
I don’t want to shy from you, no
I don’t want to lie
I don’t want to lie
And say that I don’t want you

When I said that I compromised, I allowed myself to use the fact that most of these music videos offered in www.youtube.com are about relationships. Even that concert performance I encouraged kids to watch recently by Carly Rae Jepsen, ‘Run Away With Me’, is a relationship song. So, if you choose to watch music video ‘Grateful’, the purpose for using it here is to simply help you relax. Based on my interpretation of the music video, she moves her body around in her apartment room in a relaxing manner. Sure, the music video itself also presents the music and the video in a way that is, in my opinion, relaxing to watch. Also, as you notice Mahalia’s body language as she dances to her song, keep in mind that there are a variety of shapes and sizes for women.

To watch music video ‘Grateful’ for free, search for phrase ‘mahalia grateful’ in www.youtube.com, and it should be one of the 1st selections offered, with over 630 thousand views. It was published Apr 26, 2019, about 3 weeks ago. I forgot to mention that I watched the music video for the 1st time earlier today, and it looks all right to me. Her appearance is consistently acceptable, considering the fact that she’s portraying a dance that is in her apartment, and she’s also singing, even as she is braiding her own hair in front of the mirror.

False sense of knowing:

It is now 1:40 PM EST for me. Even though idea ‘False sense of knowing’ is a sub-category of idea ‘Verify’, it is the idea I am actively using now. I’ll start with a reference from a scene from movie ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales(2017)’. According to www.wikipedia.org, the ‘Dead Men Tell No Tales’ movie is a popular Walt Disney Pictures movie starring Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow, and Javiar Bardem as Captain Salazar. The movie is available as a streaming rental and purchase from Amazon.com, and according to Amazon Video, that scene starts 1 hour, 4 minutes, and 15 seconds into the movie. Since this is a fantasy movie about pirates, the ghost of Captain Salazar is talking. Here is the quote:

Captain Salazar: ‘The last of their ships were burning before my eyes. And in that moment of victory…it’s when I heard it.

Jack Sparrow: ‘Hey! Hold on, Capitan.’

Captain Salazar: ‘One ship was trying to escape through the smoke.’

Jack Sparrow: ‘It’s a lovely day for a sail, innit?

Captain Salazar: ‘And there, in the crow’s nest…there was this young pirate boy.’

Jack Sparrow: ‘The way I see it, there’s just the two of us left. You surrender to me now and I’ll let you live. Simple.’

Captain Salazar: ‘He stood there looking like a little bird, eh? And from that day… he earned himself a name that will haunt me for the rest of my days… Jack the Sparrow.’

Jack Sparrow: ‘Right then. You surrender to me now and I let you live. I shall let you live. (laughs)’

Captain Salazar: ‘This boy was mocking my power, so I chased him…’

I just remembered another reference for idea ‘False sense of knowing’: It involves a conversation with Duncan MacLeod(Adrian Paul) and Methos(Peter Wingfield). The scene is in episode 6.13 ‘Not to Be’ from action fantasy tv series ‘Highlander(1998)’. the episode is available streaming for purchase from Amazon.com for about 2 dollars, and according to Amazon Video, that scene starts 16 minutes and 32 seconds into the episode, MacLeod and Methos are talking. Here is the quote:

MacLeod: ‘Methos.’

Hugh Fitzcairn(Roger Daltrey): ‘Delightful chap.’

Methos: ‘What’s your problem?’

MacLeod: ‘Me? nothin.’

Methos: ‘You’re looking at me as if you know me. You don’t know me.’

Macleod: ‘Maybe it’s your sunny disposition. Looking for something? Hm?(Methos was checking MacLeod’s arm to see if he had a tattoo that indicates that Macleod is a Watcher) How about two outta three?’

Methos: ‘Let me give you some advice. You keep your eyes to yourself.’

OK, here’s the idea I call ‘False sense of knowing’ or ‘False impression of knowing’. For example, in both the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ scene and the ‘Highlander’ scene, Captain Salazar and Methos experienced what I call an accelerated contemplation evaluation of another person. I think it’s been over a month now that I have been creating categories for idea ‘False sense of knowing’. Since it may take me several more weeks to finish this idea, I’ll give you something to work with, so that you, too, if you choose to, can also create ideas that resemble a certain useful recognition for idea ‘False sense of knowing’. I call such useful, relevant recognitions ‘categories’. And so far, I invented 2 categories for idea ‘False sense of knowing’. The 1st category is called ‘Contesting contemplations’, and the 2nd category is called ‘Insults’. I’ve explained idea ‘Contesting contemplations’ before. It was in Wishlist #1168, and it was originally called ‘Contest not know’. Here’s a copy:

Contesting contemplations:

‘ So, whether you have experienced this or not, idea ‘Contest not know’ identifies an instigation that makes worse an adverse impression that you do not know someone by causing the innocent person to interact with contemplations that involve a lot of contesting. For example, that instigator may ask that innocent person personal questions, causing that innocent person to say several times ‘I don’t want to talk about that.’ That may induce a contesting sense of contemplation. Also, that same instigator may personally tell that innocent person that he/she is not invited to attend a party that clearly everybody else is invited to attend. The instigator could have just not said anything about such a party to such an innocent person. Why personally say to that person that he/she is not invited? Those 2 incidents, for example, may cause an innocent person to more than usual contemplationally contest not knowing such an instigator. ‘

When an instigator causes you to have a contesting contemplation, you become involved contemplationally to address such a contemplation, whether you are contemplationally complaining about it, or you are trying to resolve it. For example, in the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ reference, Captain Jack Sparrow chose to keep the name ‘Jack Sparrow’, since his chosen lifestyle is to be a pirate, in order to cause other pirates to have contesting contemplations just to understand who he is. You can refurbish that ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ scene to see if people in your school or job are also encouraging you to have contesting contemplations about their actions. Another example for the adults with jobs, an instigator may clearly impose an instigation upon you, and yet not show to you from his/her presented demeanor that he/she has made a mistake, a modern day ‘Jack Sparrow’, if you will.

Since I’m assuming that people in general are not psychiatrists, therapists, along those lines, when a student at school or an employee at work experiences a contesting contemplation, that accelerated sense of contemplation can mislead them into thinking that he/she knows that instigator that caused such a contesting contemplation to exist in his/her mind. To repeat myself, if someone in school or work tries repeatedly to talk to you about something that is personal to you, and you told them repeatedly that you don’t want to talk about it, such experiences may cause you to have contesting contemplations about such behavior. And if that same person told you that you are not invited to his/her party, that, too, may cause you to have contesting contemplations. For example, students have parties all the time. They would just invite those that they would want to attend, and that’s that. I don’t think it’s common practice to tell people in school that he/she is NOT invited to attend a party, and I certainly don’t believe that it’s a common thing to tell other employees that they are NOT invited to attend certain parties. Such a conversation, in my opinion, may be done intentionally to cause that innocent person to have a contesting contemplation.

Insults:

According to www.dictionary.com an ‘insult’ is ‘an insolent or contemptuously rude action or remark; affront’. Here is the best illustration example I can think of. It is from the comedy drama movie ‘Unfinished Business(2015)’, starring Vince Vaughn as Dan Trunkman, and Ella Anderson as Bess Trunkman.

But you gotta go, or you’ll be a moron.’ (Dan then kisses his daughter’s forehead)

Keep in mind that it’s a comedy drama movie. I’m not going to criticize it. The movie is primarily made for entertainment.

So, there you have it. The 1st 2 categories that encourage innocent people to have a false sense of knowing are 1)’Contesting contemplations’, and 2)’Insults’. Here is what I recommend you do with that: Imagine that there is a 3rd category, let’s say it’s the best one compared to the other 2 categories, and invent that 3rd category. Based on what I imagine past performance is with people reading this blog, I’m pretty certain that it should be easy for you to make a 3rd category. In fact, it should be easy for you to make many 3rd categories. This is a project I encourage you to endeavor in, to make 3rd categories for those 1st 2, 1)’Contesting contemplations’, and ‘2)’Insults’. The recommended plan is that after you make your 1st 3rd category, soon after that, you will make an even better 3rd category. The new 3rd category will replace the current 3rd category. Also, keep in mind that there are many expectations that indicate that your ideas are important. The ideas that you create are what matters. In a matter of speaking, the ideas that I present to you are nothing. They are just ideas. The ideas that you create are what’s important. I recommend that, for learning continuity, you simply use both, the making of your own ideas, and the use of these ideas here, as well as whatever else you are doing, in relation to advice said. And as you are making these ‘3rd categories’, that should give you something to do until I am able to finish idea ‘Verify’, which may take several weeks.(let’s say 3 Saturdays.) I’m going to close and proofread this list now, so that it is clear what the recommended project is.
