Aloha!
It is now 11:12 AM EST for me. I decided to take a day off from work for Memorial Day. I chose a music video for this list from www.youtube.com, a category called ‘Top 100 Today’s Most Listened Songs – May 2019’. The song is #22, and it’s called ‘New Rules’ by Dua Lipa. Since I already recommended this music video in a previous list, I’m not going to talk about it. I chose this music video because I wanted some sort of dancing mobility. I absolutely believe it’s not the best music video out there for dancing mobility, but I don’t want to use more time looking for one. However, since I do need some mobility, I also recommend watching movie trailer ‘Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw – Official Trailer #2 [HD]’. To watch the trailer for free, search for phrase ‘fast and furious hobbs and shaw’ in www.youtube.com, and it should one of the 1st selections offered, with over 22 million views. The movie trailer was published on Apr 18, 2019, a month and a week ago. There’s gun violence, but it’s in a context of being an action adventure movie. Also, the villain portrayed by Idris Elba is described in the trailer as being a ‘black Superman’, because he is cyber-genetically enhanced.
React how:
I invented this idea yesterday. Although it’s not the idea I originally planned to give to you, this is still, in my opinion, the best idea I have made as of now. When you use this idea, you choose a sense of reacting as it relates to your chosen sense of perspective, and that allows you to experience mild to moderate interjections of reacting caused by instigators and inadvertencies which allows you to maintain a sense of focus that is less affected by such instigation related interjections of reactings. This idea may allow you to experience instigation related interjections of reacting, and you are still able to maintain your chosen sense of reacting as it relates to your chosen perspective.
The 1st illustration example, refurbished for advice of course, is in episode 2.17 ‘Ham Sandwich’ from lawyer tv show ‘The Good Wife(2011)’. The episode is available streaming from Amazon.com. If you have Amazon Prime, the episode is available to you without additional payment. According to Amazon Video, that scene starts 33 minutes and 54 seconds into the episode, Alicia Florrick(Julianna Margulies) is giving legal advice to Kalinda Sharma(Archie Panjabi). Here is the quote:
Alicia: ‘You ready? No matter what they ask–the Fifth. You plead the Fifth.’
Kalinda: ‘Got it.’
34 minutes and 10 seconds into the episode, Kalinda and Alicia are not in a courtroom:
Cary Agos(Matt Czuchry): ‘Now, we’ve asked Blake Calamar back for another day of questioning, but you have no disagreement with his characterization of the conversation?’
Kalinda: ‘I refuse to answer on the grounds that it may incriminate me.’
Alicia: ‘Again, we would speed things up here if you allowed for a blanket pleading of the Fifth.’
According to www.dictionary.com, ‘to plead the Fifth means to refuse to answer a question, especially in a criminal trial, on the grounds that you might incriminate yourself.’
So, all Kalinda has to say while in that courtroom is the phrase:
Kalinda: ‘I refuse to answer on the grounds that it may incriminate me.’
Every question the lawyers give her, every statement, that’s all she’s supposed to say. In my opinion, it’s an obvious example of maintaining a sense of reacting as it relates to your chosen perspective. Of course, you don’t use the rest of that episode. You don’t need to understand why she’s there. It’s just a tv show, it’s not real. You’re just using it as a refubished for advice ‘React how’ illustration.
The next example is in episode 4.7 ‘Reunion’ from sci-fi tv show ‘Star Trek: The Next Generation(1990)’. The episode is available streaming from Amazon.com. Here is a copy of that quote from Wishlist #1168:
—
In that scene, the discussion involves Capt. Picard(Patrick Stewart), Gowron(Robert O’Reilly), Duras(Patrick Massett), and Lieutenant Worf(Michael Dorn). To understand the discussion, I’ll start the quote a little earlier. That scene starts 30 minutes and 57 seconds into the episode. Here is the quote:
Gowron: ‘The investigations are complete. They revealed nothing of any importance.’
Picard: ‘Now, that’s very surprising. Our analysis turned up some…startling results. Will you join us, Lieutenant?’
(Worf enters the room)
Duras: (standing up from his chair): ‘What is this!’
Gowron:(standing and pointing at Worf): ‘He has no place here, Picard!’
Duras: ‘I will not sit at the same table with that.’
Picard: ‘It is my prerogative to investigate anything that may be relevant to the Rite of Succession. Lieutenant Worf is my Chief Security Officer. His presence is required.’
Duras: ‘We will not proceed.’
Picard: ‘If you wish to withdraw from the ja’chuq…that is your option.’
—
Picard’s chosen reacting as it relates to his chosen perspective knew that, if he brought in Lieutenant Worf, Gowron and Duras would probably have a contesting reaction. Picard also planned to explain to both Gowron and Duras why Worf was important for his investigations. The highlight of this example is how Picard reacted to both Gowron and Duras when they both expressed their obvious grievances to Picard. I wanted to give you an example that involved some sort of resistance to another person’s use of chosen reacting. The resistance came from the grievances from Gowron and Duras in regards to Worf’s presence.
The 3rd illustration is in episode 7.23 ‘Extreme Measures’ from sci-fi tv show ‘Star Trek: Deep Space Nine(1999)’. The episode is available streaming from Amazon.com. Here is a quote from Amazon.com about the episode:
‘ Bashir and O’Brien link minds with the man who holds the cure to Odo’s deadly disease. ‘
It’s a science fiction episode. It’s refurbished for advice, so don’t use it literally. According to the episode, Doctor Bashir(Alexander Siddig) Chief O’Brien(Colm Meaney) use some sort of technology to create some sort of virtual interface with Sloan’s(William Sadler) mind. The scene starts 39 minutes and 49 seconds into the episode. Here is the quote:
Sloan: ‘If you really want to destroy Section 31, it’s now or never.’
Bashir: ‘He’s right. This is a once-in-a- lifetime opportunity. We can’t pass it up.’
O’Brien: ‘Julian!
Bashir: ‘What?!’
The most common is the fact that there have been a modest bunch of reports of folks who have it in sensible amount or you may tab viagra gain a lot of extra weight. 5. He wants us to die with him. If we die, Odo dies, too.’
Sloan: ‘All my secrets yours for the taking, Doctor…if you want them badly enough.’
O’Brien: ‘Odo needs you, Julian. He’s counting on you.’
Sloan: ‘You’re making a terrible mistake, Doctor.’
Bashir: ‘I don’t think so.’ (Bashir then allows both himself and O’Brien to leave the neural virtual link with Sloan’s mind.)
In that example, Sloan convinced Doctor Bashir to momentarily commit to a certain reacting perspective, but O’Brien warned Bashir that it was a trap, and that Odo needs Bashir to commit to the reacting perspective that involves Odo’s cure, which allowed Bashir to change his reacting perspective. Since I believe idea ‘React how’ may be a new idea for you, I think the ‘Sloan’ example may be useful to you, since the example involves a person changing his/her perspective obligations as it relates to reacting.

The 4th example is near end of episode 30.6 ‘From Russia Without Love’ from animated tv show ‘The Simpsons(2018)’. In that scene, Moe was about to get married to Anastasia Alekova(Ksenia Solo). The episode is available streaming from Amazon.com, and according to Amazon Video, the 1st scene starts 18 minutes and 38 seconds into the episode. Here is the quote:
Moe: ‘Ana, what about you?’
Anastasia: (with Midwestern accent) ‘I’m not Russian at all. I’m from Columbus, Ohio.’
Moe: ‘Ana, you’re a scam artist.’
Skipping ahead to 19 minutes and 7 seconds into the episode:
Anastasia: (with no accent) ‘Fine. I’ll find another man and give him what he dreams of. I just have to, uh…(with French accent) …speak a little like this. (with Scottish accent) or maybe Scottish, like…’
Willie: ‘Oh, do my ears deceive me? Are you from the Highlands?’
Anastasia: ‘Aye. Between Inverness and the Moray Firth.’
The 4th example just gives you an example of a person who is able to change his/her perspective several times.

Not how I use my reacting:
Not how I react:
The reason I called the idea ‘React how’ is because when you experience that instigation that is causing you to react in order to wane/muddle your chosen sense of focus as it relates to your chosen reacting associated to your chosen perspective, idea ‘React how’ means ‘That is not how I use my sense of reacting.’ The purpose of idea ‘React how’ is to clarify in your mind that the sense of reacting imposed by the instigation or inadvertency is not your chosen use of reacting associated to your chosen sense of perspective. In the ‘Ham Sandwich’ example, a lawyer would ask Kalinda a question or make a statement, and she was supposed to plead the Fifth to all of those questions and statements. That example is also a clarification of a person’s chosen sense of reacting as it is associated with his/her chosen perspective.
Even though idea ‘React how’ is, in my opinion, my best idea, and the idea I am currently actively using, there are other ideas I have not given you yet. The idea I plan to give you I still plan to give you this coming Saturday. All right. I think I got it now. The example is in episode 3.21 ‘The Die Is Cast’ from sci-fi tv show ‘Star Trek: Deep Space Nine(1995)’. The episode is available streaming from Amazon.com. Here is a quote from www.wikipedia.org about that scene:
‘ On the lead ship of the Cardassian-Romulan fleet, Enabran Tain and Garak reflect upon their past times together in the Obsidian Order, the Cardassian secret police. ‘
The example according to Amazon Video starts 7 minutes and 15 seconds into the episode. Here is the quote:
Enabran Tain(Paul Dooley): ‘I never met anyone else who relished a good interrogation as much as you did. Do you remember getting that confession out of Dr. Parmak?’
Garak(Andrew Robinson): ‘I never even touched him.’
Enabran Tain: ‘That was the beauty of it. You just sat there, for, what? Three hours?’
Garak: ‘Four!’
Enabran Tain: ‘And after four hours of watching you stare at him, he confessed.’
Garak: (chuckles) ‘I was good, wasn’t I?’
Enabran Tain: ‘You were brilliant. Afterwards, he just kept saying, ‘His eyes…his eyes.’

Using ‘The Die Is Cast’ example, let’s address the adults at work. When you are using idea ‘React how’, you are checking to see if the instigator(s) are causing you to react in a way that is trying to wane/muddle your sense of focus as it relates to your chosen perspective. Is the instigator trying to get your attention in a way that is odd/unusual? When that instigator wants to get your attention, does that change your focus for your chosen perspective? All 5 examples I have offered you comes down to this: Is this advice useful to you? For example, Enabran Tain quoting Garak:
Enabran Tain: ‘His eyes…his eyes.’
Although I doubt the instigator is actually staring at you, is the instigator causing you to react in a way that muddles your sense of focus as it relates to your chosen perspective? The instigator doesn’t actually have to stare at you to cause you to react. If so, you may contemplationally say the phrase ‘React how’, ‘Not how I use my reacting.’, or ‘Not how I react’, and that should help you become more aware what your chosen sense of reacting is as it is associated to your chosen sense of perspective. Keep in mind that you don’t have to always have an obvious sense of what your chosen perspective is just to be aware of what it is.
[It’s now 1:57 PM EST for me. I am going to close and proofread this list now. I plan to give you the next idea this coming Saturday, so if you are there, I’ll see you then.
