Wishlist #1182

Here we go!

(Said as a greeting.)

That is what Angstrom(Susan Lynch) said in episode 11.2 ‘The Ghost Monument’ from sci-fi tv show ‘Doctor Who(2018)’ when she heard the alarm.

It is now 12:05 PM EST for me.

The music video I am recommending for this advice is from song ‘Lost in Istanbul’ by Romanian singer Brianna. Wikipedia doesn’t say much about her, so here is a quote from www.curiousturk.com:

‘ Ladies and Gentleman, meet the Romanian singer, Brianna, who is getting widely popular in Turkey.

Her last single back in March 2018 was ‘Lost in Istanbul’. It is a great video if you want to talk a short walk along Istanbul streets (Mostly in Istiklal street, Taksim, Karakoy and Besiktas). Her voice is also very very nice, I can see that this is going to be a real hit this summer in Turkey. ‘

And here is a quote from the lyrics:

[Verse 1] Standing in the heavy rain
I was someone I was not
[Pre-Chorus] Freezing cold, I follow
Love is like an arrow, it will lead me to you
[Chorus] I’m lost in Istanbul
Ooh, na, na, na, na
Ooh, na, na, na, na
Ooh, na, na, ooh, na, na

I watched the music for the 1st time I think it was last week, when I was preparing it for Wishlist #1181, but because of the 3 proofreads I tried to do, I chose not to use it then. I found the music video in www.youtube.com, from publisher ‘DSC Top music charts’, category ‘Romanian Top 100 Airplay February 03, 2019 #95’. That category gives you a horizontal video preview of 100 music videos. Music video ‘Lost in Istanbul’ is #85. To watch the music video ‘Lost in Istanbul’ for free, search for phrase ‘lost in istanbul’ in www.youtube.com, and it should be one of the 1st selections offered, with over 77 million views. It was published on Mar 1, 2018, over a year ago.

It is my opinion that, if you choose to watch music video ‘Lost in Istanbul’, it’s relaxing. However, the premise may be a little difficult to sense as plausible. Based on my interpretation of the music video, Brianna is giving the impression that she is casually and nonchalantly(coolly unconcerned, indifferent, or unexcited) walking around certain areas of Istanbul lost. It is my belief that some? people who watch this music video may perceive Brianna’s situation, that she is casually walking around lost in Istanbul, to be unbelievable, that it’s not reasonably plausible for people in general to casually walk around lost in such a similar situation. I recently did a search for the phrase ‘5 impossible things’, and I found a quote from the book ‘Alice in Wonderland’, and here it is:

“Alice laughed: “There’s no use trying,” she said; “one can’t believe impossible things.”
“I daresay you haven’t had much practice,” said the Queen. “When I was younger, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.”

I also imagined earlier today that many women believe that there are many things that they have logically created that they cannot teach the men in their relationships, but they still get them to do something. Also, I believe that CEOs(chief executive officer) from companies would simply create a division in their company for people to work with concepts that other divisions may seem as impossible. So, using those 3 notions, I imagined myself trying to doing what Brianna did. I thought to myself that, even though I don’t believe it is possible to so casually walk around lost, I would at least try to imagine doing it. So, instead of Brianna through most of the music video, in bits and pieces, I would imagine myself casually walking the streets of Istanbul using the music video. To help me imagine it, I gave cameos of 2 celebrities in the music video who were also casually lost in Istanbul, celebrities David Letterman and Paul Shaffer. You would have to look for them, because they won’t be obvious. In a reasonable context of course, I believe that it can be very useful to you to at least be able to have the ability to try to consistently certain things that you believe are impossible to do. If a CEO can turn many of those seemingly impossible things into a job, then why not?

Of course, if you use this ‘impossible trying’ idea in a reasonable context, you are not to try anything in a reckless or dangerous context. For example, I am only recommending that you imagine casually being lost in Istanbul using the music video, even though you may believe that it is impossible to be casually lost in many situations.

Remove not do:

It is now 1:27 PM EST for me. If you read Wishlist #1178, the ‘Not notify’ idea, and Wishlist #1180, the ‘Not do’ idea, then I believe you may be capable of learning idea ‘Remove not do’: Since Wishlist #1180 was typed in on 7/4/2019, and I think I invented idea ‘Remove not do’ soon after that, then I have been upgrading idea ‘Remove not do’ for over a week and a half, since today is 7/20/2019. Idea ‘Remove not do’ means ‘A contemplation effort to remove that you did not to’. To start, the definition of idea ‘Remove’ is ‘A contemplation effort to remove’…. Before I continue, I recommend that you watch the ‘New Pringles Wavy: ‘Daddy’ commercial. You can watch it for free at www.youtube.com. Just search for phrase ‘new pringles wavy tv commercial’ in www.youtube.com on Apr 1, 2019, over 3 months ago. The commercial is only 15 seconds long. Here is a quote:

Mom in commercial: ‘Pringles Wavy with a big new crunch and totally different flavors, they’re not really Pringles, just like that’s not really daddy.’ (Mom looks at son’s drawing of daddy)

Mom’s young son in commercial: ‘Yes it is.’

Mom in commercial: ‘Okay.’

Commercial: ‘New Pringles Wavy. They’re not not Pringles.’

Okay. The best illustration example that I am aware of in my opinion for idea ‘Remove’ is near end of movie ‘Circle of Iron(1978)’, starring Jeff Cooper as Cord, and David Carradine as his teacher, The Blind Man. In the 2 scenes, Cord wanted to participate with The Blind Man, but The Blind Man warned Cord that he would be confused if he did. After the participation, Cord experienced a contemplation effort to remove, and demanded that The Blind Man explained what had happened. Keep in mind that the 3rd event, when The Blind Man punched the boy’s nose, was done many years ago. It was a different belief system then. I am not encouraging anyone to punch anyone just based on this movie. Sure, refurbished for advice, you may watch that entire scene, but I am just going to quote the beginning and the ending part. The movie ‘Circle of Iron’ is available streaming from Amazon.com as a rental and a purchase, according to Amazon Video, the 1st scene starts 1 hour, 5 minutes, and 28 seconds into the movie. Here is the quote:

Cord: ‘I realize now you are my hidden teacher. And if I am to survive the next trial, I must be allowed to follow you and to learn.’

The Blind Man: ‘You will never endure it.’

Cord: ‘I will.’

The Blind Man: ‘Will I?’

Cord: (laughs) ‘Tell me why I won’t be able to endure it.’

The Blind Man: ‘You will never have the patience. You will see things and judge them, before you know what they mean.’

Cord: ‘What things?’

The Blind Man: ‘You see? You ask what things even before the things have happened. Your impatience is beyond me.’

Cord: ‘I’ll be patient. I’ll be an empty vessel!’

The Blind Man: ‘One condition.’

Cord: ‘Anything.’

The Blind Man: ‘You must ask nothing about any event until such time as I myself give you an answer.’

Cord: ‘Agreed.’

After experiencing those 3 events, Cord experienced an obvious sense of contemplation effort to remove, and demanded that his teacher, The Blind Man, explain what had happened. That scene begins 1 hour, 16 minutes, and 15 seconds into the movie, when Cord placed his hand on The Blind Man’s shoulder to stop him from walking, an act that The Blind Man initially interpreted as a minor threat. Here is the quote:

Cord: ‘Why? This time, I’m leaving.’

The Blind Man: ‘You must stop making promises.’

Cord: ‘This is more than a promise. Now that I’m free of you, I’m free to ask questions. Explain yourself. What did you mean by kicking in the ferry boat?’

The Blind Man: ‘Of the two of us, you are the one who is blind. Blinded by what you see.’

Cord: ‘I want an answer, not all this philosophy.’

The Blind Man: ‘I damaged the boat because if I hadn’t, the soldiers would have used it to cross the river, and the old man and all his family would have been killed.’

Cord: ‘But how did you know the soldiers were coming? Did you hear them?’

The Blind Man: ‘No.’

Cord: ‘The stone wall. Why did you stop to repair it?’

The Blind Man: ‘There was a bag of coins partly exposed to the stones. I repaired the wall so the soldiers wouldn’t find it and steal it, leaving the widow and her children without means.’

Cord: ‘You couldn’t see the bag. Did you smell it?’

The Blind Man: ‘No.’

Cord: ‘The boy. Explain the boy.’

The Blind Man: ‘The boy.’

Cord: ‘You mutilated the boy– you broke his nose, a beautiful boy.’

The Blind Man: ‘Too beautiful. He was a tyrant; he would have grown up to be worse. I freed his parents from their bondage to his beauty.’

Cord: ‘Hah!’ You didn’t even touch his face. How did you know what he looked like? Did you sense it?’

The Blind Man: ‘No. But I freed his parents and the boy too, and now, I free you of me.’

Cord: ‘Well, I haven’t finished yet. You didn’t hear the soldiers, and you didn’t smell the bag, and you didn’t sense the boy. I want an explanation.’

If you want to, you may watch the rest of that scene. The point of that ‘Circle of Iron’ example is to help you sense and identify what a ‘contemplation effort to remove’ is.

Bait: Decoy:

An instigator may use an instigation induced contemplation effort to remove as bait, in order to adversely influence you to interact with and commit to some sort of notion. Here is an example of bait from Wishlist #1165:

‘ I’m also recommending an action trailer, and that trailer is called ‘Star Wars: Episode II – Attack Of The Clones (2002)’. To watch that action trailer for free, search for phrase ‘star wars attack of clones theatrical trailer 1’ in www.youtube.com, and it should be one of the 1st selections offered, with over 28 thousand views. It was published by Forever Cinematic Trailers. I like the part 39 seconds into the trailer when Obi-Wan Kenobi(Ewan McGregor) said to Anakin(Hayden Christensen) quote:

‘You’re using her as bait.’ ‘

So, to start from the beginning, so to speak, you have the ‘Not notify’ idea from Wishlist #1178. That means you have a sense of what a reasonable perspective is to compare to mild to moderate instigations. So, if you experience an instigation identified by idea ‘Remove’, if you experienced an instigation that causes you to have a contemplation effort to remove, like Cord did in movie ‘Circle of Iron’, once you’ve decided that it’s instigation related and it’s out of context and so forth, you may choose to sense it, but not become it. In fact, with a little practice, even sensing such a contemplation effort to remove may be allocated even further. For example, a contemplation effort to remove may feel like it’s coming from you, like in episode 1.5 ’12 Hours’ from tv show ‘Transporter: The Series(2012)’, when Dieter Hausmann(Charly Hubner) kept saying to Giles(Josh Blacker) quote:

Dieter: ‘Dieter Hausmann is not here.’

A 2nd ‘contemplation effort to remove’ may also feel like it is coming from the instigator, like the instigator is doing something intentionally inept. For example, if you experienced an instigation that implicates the instigator in such a way, that you may think about that incident many times, then that may be construed as a contemplation effort to remove coming from the instigator.

A 3rd ‘contemplation effort to remove’ may feel like something that is somewhat overwhelming, because you want to resolve it quickly, but you can’t. It may also feel like it’s coming from you. For that, I recommend that you identify it as a possible ‘type’ from other types that may feel like it’s coming from you. For example, there are a few episodes from sci-fi tv show ‘Supernatural’ where Sam(Jared Padalecki) and Dean(Jensen Ackles) would have access to many cell/smart phones, and they would have to choose the right ‘type’ of identity in order to use those phones individually, since each cell/smart phone is associated with a specific yet possibly different identity that they are using. The best example I can think of right now to help you sense a different ‘type’ of identity coming from you is in episode 5.23 ‘I, Borg’ from sci-fi tv show ‘Star Trek: The Next Generation(1992)’, when Picard(Patrick Stewart) was having a conversation with the Borg Hugh(Jonathan Del Arco). The episode is available streaming from Amazon.com, and according to Amazon Video, that scene starts 34 minutes and 6 seconds into the episode. Here is a partial quote:

Hugh: ‘Locutus.’

Picard: ‘Yes. I am Locutus of Borg.’

Hugh: ‘Why are you here?’

So, if you watched previous Star Trek episodes and movies involving the Borg and Picard, you would know that Picard was once part of the Borg Collective. Even though in that episode Picard is currently no longer in the Borg Collective, Picard chooses to present to Hugh the identity ‘type’ used when he was in the Borg Collective, and his name was Locutus. Using that example, if you experienced a contemplation effort to remove that is a bit overwhelming and it may feel like it’s coming from you, you may contemplationally say to yourself ‘Remove not do’, so that you may not only choose to not use such a contemplation sense of removing, but you may also identify it as an identity ‘type’ that feels like it’s coming from you, but it’s not an identity type that you are using, and you did not do it, sort of like you are feeling the refurbished identity type of Locutus, but you are not using that identity type.

It is now 4:51 PM EST for me. I am going to stop now, and I will continue next Saturday by explaining the variations associated with idea ‘Remove not do’. Based on past performance, I will probably make even more ideas, but I will explain the variations for idea ‘Remove not do’ 1st. So, if you are there next Saturday, I’ll see you then.

Here we go!

(Said as a greeting.)

It is now 5:28 PM EST for me. I am sorry for starting so late today. I was doing something outside early this morning, and it took me longer than I thought to complete it. By the time I came back home, I was tired. I decided to get something to eat, and here I am. I will type at least something today, and I did make more ideas, but since I don’t have time to find a new music video, I’ll have to give you a music video I have already given you. What I am also going to do with that music video is help you with a possible problem you may be having. The music video I am recommending today is ‘Orange Trees’ by Marina. To watch it for free, search for phrase ‘orange trees marina’ in www.youtube.com, and it should be one of the 1st selections offered, with over 3.7 million views. It premiered Mar 22, 2019, just 4 months ago. Since I already recommended it for a previous list, I won’t say much about it. Here is a quote from it’s lyrics:

Flowers in my hair, I belong by the sea
Where we used to be, sitting by the orange trees
Summer in the air, bodies in the heat
Just you and me, sitting by the orange trees

Now, I know that I recommended that you watch the concert version of song ‘Run Away with Me’ by Carly Rae Jepsen back in Wishlist #1170, at 4/26/2019, about 3 months ago. It’s possible that a lot of kids, mostly girls, are still watching it, because they want to experience that ‘crying’ effect that it used to give them in the beginning. And so, based on my current ability, I am not aware of anything out there that can produce that effect again. It probably exists. After all, it’s just crying. I am just not aware of it. I just found/invented that one example, and decided that it was a good idea for you to have it. So, to help those kids that are still watching ‘Run Away with Me’, I recommend that you STOP watching it. Instead, to help you taper off/recover from that experience, I recommend that you watch instead music video ‘Run Away with Me’ by Marina. Based on my experience refurbished for this advice, it should help you calm down from the effects of watching music video ‘Run Away with Me’ many times. I just watched ‘Orange Trees’ twice earlier today, and I felt relaxed. Here’s how I recommend the girls watch music video ‘Orange Trees’: Just imagine that, instead of Marina singing and walking around in that music video, you are doing what she is, in a reasonable context. For example, just imagine doing what she’s doing. Don’t actually sit on a railing, like she does in one scene. That could be dangerous. You don’t have to actually know the lyrics. Just listen to it, and imagine that you are in the music video singing it. Watch the music video at least twice, and you should feel better. And of course, also STOP watching the concert performance of ‘Run Away with Me’. If you want to, you may watch it again from time to time in the future. Just give your mind and body some experience not watching it. Instead, enjoy watching music video ‘Orange Trees’ and recover.

I forgot to mention that I just thought about this ‘Orange Trees’ idea I think less than an hour ago today.

[It’s 6:00 PM EST for me. I am going to stop now. I made a mistake underestimating how long it would take me to finish that errand earlier today, and I don’t think I’ll make that mistake again. My Saturdays should be regularly free for the time being. Next Saturday, I will start this blog early, so that I can finish this list, and finish the previous list as well. Again, apologies. So, if you are there next Saturday, I’ll see you then.

Here we go!

(said as a greeting.)

Humility:

It is now 5:30 PM EST for me. I have made more ideas, but before I introduce them to you, I want to review the concept of humility to you using several episodes, refurbished with inapproprieities removed, of course, using several episodes from the sci-fi British secret service tv show ‘The Rook’, starring Adrian Lester as Conrad Grantchester. The show premiered on June 30, 2019 on Starz. If you have cable tv, the episodes may be available to you On Demand, but you may not be able to fast forward while watching them. The episodes are available streaming on Amazon.com using a Starz membership. I think it’s about 9 dollars a month, but Amazon offers you a 7 day trial period. So, if you are using the Starz membership through Amazon, and you just want to see the episodes using this advice, just remember to cancel the Starz membership after you have watched the episodes. If you don’t, you may forget about it, and end up paying a month or so for the Starz membership before you are able to cancel it.

All right. The music video I recommend for idea ‘Humility’ is called ‘Little Uneasy’ by Fazerdaze. She has a Wikipedia page, but it doesn’t say much. Here is a quote:

Amelia Murray (born 1993), better known under her stage name Fazerdaze, is a New Zealand singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist.

Singles

  • Little Uneasy (2015, self-released)
There is no denying the fact that in certain health circumstances, all available cures in orthopedics or neurology could hardly tackle such kind of canada viagra discomfort. The buy tadalafil online created blood pressure makes it hard and erect. A lot of men today suffer from impotence, and it has the functions of clearing away heat and free viagra 100mg toxic material, invigorating spleen for diuresis and Promoting the blood circulation will be increased to the tissues of genital area and this results in harder and longer-lasting erections. Testosterone hormones can be restored to a therapeutic buy levitra online level through a replacement therapy.

I discovered Fazerdaze from www.youtube.com, publisher ‘Top 40 Music Charts’. In that page, I searched for phrase ‘new zealand’, and eventually used category ‘NEW ZEALAND TOP 40 Songs This Week |19 February 2019 | Music Chart’. That category shows 40 music videos, and one of Fazerdaze’s music videos was listed as #20. I searched for phrase ‘fazerdaze’ in www.youtube.com, to see what other music videos she made, and that’s how I found music video ‘Little Uneasy’. To watch ‘Little Uneasy’ for free, search for phrase ‘fazerdaze little uneasy’ in www.youtube.com, and it should be one of the 1st selections offered, with over 1.7 million views. It was published May 24, 2016, over 3 years ago. Here’s a quote from one of the comments:

‘ Music like this always makes me want to gather up all my friends, go for a long drive, and just reflect. Not saying anything while driving down an empty road. Sometimes you just need that in life, you know? ‘

Here’s a quote from the song ‘Little Uneasy’ from azlyrics.com:

I could never leave you if you let me try

Go on and let me try

If you choose to watch the music video ‘Fazerdaze’ and you like that music, then to me what the music video may show you is Fazerdaze skateboarding probably somewhere in New Zealand where there is almost no traffic. They probably suspended the traffic temporarily for the making of that music video. Since I think Fazerdaze is attractive, it was easy for me to enjoy watching her skateboard. I did have to watch it 3 times before my thoughts were relatively clear so that I can both enjoy the music’s ambiance, look at her skateboard, and also notice the music video’s scenery.

Before I begin idea ‘Humility’, I want to tell you in advance that the explanation may involve imagining that you are a centaur(half human and half horse) and a small pony. I know it sounds strange. One reference is from a comic book that talks about a woman centaur, and the other reference talks about a woman explaining to another woman how her father gave her a trained pony for her birthday. And from that, you use it to imagine a sense of humility. If you don’t want to do that, then don’t continue reading this idea. If you don’t read it, then your mind won’t use it. If you choose to read it, and don’t want to imagine it, then don’t imagine it. I used to use this idea, some time ago, but I don’t imagine using it anymore, not the ‘pony’ part. However, the ‘new information’ from tv show ‘The Rook’ I recently used, and I am still using it.

So, here is the definition of ‘humility’ from www.dictionary.com: ‘the quality or condition of being humble’.

So, here’s the 1st story for idea ‘Humility’: It began after 1977, after the 1st ‘Star Wars’ movie came out, let’s say 1985. A group of teenage boys living in the suburbs were all wearing custom made cloaks that the Jedi’s would wear in the movie when they would walk around in public. They were celebrating using their knowledge of ‘Star Wars’ as they would wear their ‘Star Wars’ cloaks. In that day, one of the neighbors had a costume party, and one of those teenagers went to the party wearing his Jedi cloak. And when he was there, he kneeled before the host. The host was a teenage girl, and it was her party. She said a few words involving humility, causing that teenage boy to have a ‘sour face’ reaction. That’s when he realized that he felt sick using such a sense of humility.

The point of that story is that that teenage boy was new at actively using such a sense of humility. That is why he felt uneasy when that teenage girl said those words to him, as he kneeled before her. Of course, that teenage boy was also using humility with his friends, and how they use their knowledge of ‘Star Wars’. There’s nothing wrong with those other uses of humility. However, if you are discouraged from using humility, and that discouragement can cause you to not use humility, well then, you have an ability that you are choosing to not use. The exercise I will type in is designed to help you have and use a sense of humility, if you choose to. One example that I can think of right now, and I don’t have proof, is when people who wear hats would talk to other people. If you are wearing a hat, before you talk to someone, if the situation warrants it, you may take you hat off as an obvious gesture of humility. If you are in a courtroom, you may have to take your hat off as a gesture of respect and humility for the courtroom.

The 1st reference is from web site www.comixology.com. It’s a digital comic book from the ‘Lucifer’ storyline, ‘Lucifer #24’. Just go to www.comixology.com, and search for phrase ‘lucifer 24’. The comic book cover page has a woman centaur on the front cover. It’s only about 2 dollars. Here’s the description of the storyline from www.comixology.com:

‘ A beautiful teenaged centaur dreams about the imminent danger that the Lightbringer will face. Deciding to carry a warning to him, she undertakes the long and perilous journey to the mythical land of Los Angeles. ‘

It’s only 24 comic book pages long, and it’s a little sad because she did not take into account certain effects of time travel that she exposed herself to when looking for Lucifer, the one who created her world and universe. I recommend that you read the comic book 1st, but you don’t have to. Either way, click ‘Browse Pages’, and choose page 21. Click ‘1 Page’ to see the whole page at once, and you can see the woman centaur kneeling before Lucifer using humility. Here’s the description from the comic book when it happened:

‘There was no doubt in my mind that this was ‘The Maker’. I had seen him so often in my dreams. My forelegs buckled and I groveled involuntarily, all strength draining out of me.’

Here is a quote from page 21:

Lucifer: ‘You’re from my world.’

Woman Centaur: ‘Yes, Maker. I am.’

Lucifer: ‘Then what are you doing here?’

Woman Centaur: ‘I came to bring you a message. But then I changed my mind.’ (The woman centaur then cries as she covers her face with her hands.)

So, if you use that scene when she is kneeling before Lucifer, the idea is that she felt a sense of humility from her very DNA to kneel before him. For the sake of sensing humility, you may imagine being like that woman centaur. Your very DNA senses that you should kneel before Lucifer, refurbished for advice, of course.

The 2nd reference is in episode 6.7 ‘Heartless’ from fantasy tv show ‘Once Upon a Time(2016)’. The episode is available streaming for about 2 dollars Standard Definition from Amazon.com, and in that episode, the Evil Queen(Lana Parrilla) is talking to Snow White(Ginnifer Goodwin). That scene starts, according to Amazon Video, 1 minute and 2 seconds into the episode. Here is the quote:

The Evil Queen: ‘Do you remember your 15th birthday? You wanted a pony. Your father bought one. A miniature horse, really. Tiny as a dog. And he had a trainer work with it for half a year. And then he brought you to the stables, to this sweet, little horse. And when you went to it, it did as it had been trained and bowed it’s head. Another loyal subject eager to honor you. Oh, I’ve never seen such delight as I did on your face when that tiny horse bowed to you. ‘This is my perfect day.’, you said.

I use public transportation regularly, especially when going to work and back. I use the public buses a lot. And after I watched that scene from ‘Once Upon A Time’, probably around the year 2016, some time during the bus ride, I would imagine that some sort of aspect of every passenger in that bus, usually it’s just adults, would look like Snow White(Ginnifer Goodwin) as I would bow my head before them. Without words, I imagined Snow White praising me, like the Evil Queen explained it to Snow White. I would see her face being very happy. Now that I think of it, I used the Snow White as she looked in that episode, not the Snow White when she was 15 years old. Any way, I think it worked. The idea for that imagined exercise is to use a sense of humility that is given a positive reciprocation. And that is what I recommend that you do with that scene from ‘Once Upon A Time’. If you use some sort of public transportation, such as a train or a bus, as you are a passenger sitting down in a reasonable context, use some of that free time to imagine yourself bowing before the people there, and they individually respond looking like Snow White. They’re very happy to see you do that.

Here is a story of one example of humility being used consistently in a worker’s routine: I imagined celebrity Bruce Willis based on his performance as cop John McClane in the ‘Die Hard’ movies, but instead of a cop, he is a businessman working for a company. In his normal work day, he starts using humility, but soon after, because of the negotiations he is involved with, that recognition of humility disappears. However, even though his use of humility seems like it’s not used, he begins with it every work day, and he is improving in it’s use.

Now, in the tv show ‘The Rook’, I admire how Conrad(Adrian Lester) maintains an identity of humility as he talks to his 2 bosses, Linda Farrier(Joely Richardson), who is also known as the King, and Jennifer Birch(Gina McKee). Both bosses seem to need Conrad to present himself using obvious humility. The scene I’m about to introduce to you from Amazon.com using Starz, episode 1.6 ‘The Rook(2019)’, shows you Conrad being used for humility by Jennifer Birch, Conrad desperately trying to express other forms of communication other than humility in a short moment, and Jennifer Birch’s response, which shows you that she does not want to hear those other forms of communication, and that she only wants him to use his humility. In episode 1.6 according to Amazon Video, that scene starts 36 minutes and 26 seconds into the episode, Conrad and Jennifer Birch are talking. Here is the quote:

Jennifer Birch: ‘This agency will continue to face–‘

Conrad: ‘I–I have information that I think–‘

Jennifer Birch: ‘I’m not finished. Challenges in the future much like what happened today in the park. You know, Linda clearly outwitted all of you with her… bizarre ability to willfully flatten the competition.’

Conrad: ‘One might say she attacked civilians.’

Jennifer Birch: ‘Oh, grow up Conrad. Eardrums heal. T-this soft-hearted approach to leadership is precisely the reason you’ll never be king.’

The 2nd part in that same episode begins 37 minutes and 51 seconds into the episode, when Conrad is showing Jennifer the recorded conversation between Conrad and the Rook, Myfanwy Thomas(Emma Greenwell). Here is the quote:

Conrad: ‘I know you think I might be happy about this.

Jennifer Birch: ‘Oh.’

Conrad: ‘But in reality, far from it. It pains me greatly to see this agency fractured. Plus I feel personally betrayed. Linda and I worked shoulder to shoulder.’

Jennifer Birch: (as she tries to drink something) ‘That’s nasty.’

Conrad: ‘Side by side while she lied to me. Look, it’s beyond incompetence. Oh, it-it’s criminal bordering on treasonous. (sighs) Look, I know it’s a lot to take in. And the decision is yours.’

Jennifer Birch: ‘Will you stop mansplaining and let me watch the tape?’ (Of course, edited for this advice).

So, for this advice refurbished, when Jennifer Birch said the word ‘mansplaining’, she is indicating that she doesn’t want to hear those other forms of communication that she usually hears in meetings. She is indicating to Conrad that she just wants Conrad to show humility when she needs to see it. Of course, for this advice, you are only using that scene between Conrad and Jennifer Birch. Since there are mature themes in the tv show, there are other scenes in the tv show between Conrad and Jennifer Birch that may be inappropriate for this blog.

The 2nd reference is a conversation between Conrad(the Queen) and Linda Farrier(the King). That scene is in episode 3.3 of series ‘The Rook’, and according to Amazon Video, that scene starts 27 minutes into the episode. In that scene, Conrad gets permission from Linda Farrier to interrogate the prisoner. Here is the quote:

Linda Farrier: ‘All right, he’s yours. But you know this man is Lugat. We need to maintain a united front.’

Conrad: ‘I would have it no other way.’

So, for both examples, it’s probably easier to imagine being like Conrad if you are a man, but since both examples are refurbished for advice, whether you are a boy, girl, man, or a woman, you may imagine doing what Conrad did. You may imagine maintaining a sense of humility as you have either Linda and/or Jennifer being your boss at work, and you just react the way Conrad reacted. If you are a kid, you may also imagine that Linda and/or Jennifer is your teacher at school, and you just react the way Conrad reacted, maintaining a use of humility.

It’s 9:32 PM EST for me now. As far as I’m concerned, I finished explaining idea ‘Humility’. I just have to proofread it and close it. I’ll probably do that next week. Tomorrow, I plan to explain to you idea ‘Stand still’. So, if you are there, I’ll see you then.
