Salutations.

It is now 11:46 AM EST for me. Before I begin, I want to give a quote in order to address something quickly. The quote is in episode 2.1 ‘The War to End All Wars’ from sci-fi tv series ‘Timeless(2018)’. In that scene, Lucy Preston(Abigail Spencer) and Irene Curie(Melissa Farman) are talking. The episode is available streaming from Amazon.com, and according to Amazon Video, that scene starts 17 minutes and 55 seconds into the episode. Here is the quote:

Lucy Preston: ‘You’re… You’re Irene Curie?’

Irene Curie: ‘Who are you?’

Lucy Preston: ‘You’re English is excellent.’

Irene Curie: ‘Your French is terrible. What do you want?’

Acceptable appearance of use:

I don’t have a bookmark name for this idea, so I’ll just explain it. I’m single, and am not in any relationship, so it’s easy for me to think about this. If I meet an attractive woman, and she is also available, but she speaks terrible English, from my perspective, as long as the English she is aware of is good enough for us to be in a relationship, then her ‘terrible’ English is good enough for me. In that ‘Timeless’ scene, from my perspective, Lucy Preston speaks fluent French, but from the perspective of certain people who speak French as a primary language, such as Irene Curie, Lucy Preston’s use of French is terrible. You see? My point is that you may learn many things that you believe are useful to you, and you have the ability to use those many things that you have learned to understand what you perceive. And you may contemplationally criticize youself for being ‘terrible’ at it’s use, or something like that. If I met an attractive woman that speaks terrible English, but we still want to be in a relationship together, then I would probably? accept her for who she is, and that includes her terrible use of English. Of course, if she was using that terrible English to communicate to other Americans, many of them may believe that her use of English is terrible. Do you see what I’m getting at? When that woman speaks to me using her English, she may see a man that accepts her wholeheartedly. The point I am trying to make is that the things that you believe that you have learned that are useful to you may not always have a consistently acceptable appearance of use. I’ll use that as the name of this idea: ‘Acceptable appearance of use’. I made that bookmark around 12: 05 PM EST.

Before I begin, I want to explain my new study plan. I invented what I believe for many expectations to be my best idea yet this past Thursday, 10/24/2019. I call the idea ‘Expire lack’. I could explain it today in a context that may be useful to you. However, the idea uses a lot of idea ‘Expire’, an idea I did not explain to you yet. And so, what I am going to do today is explain ideas ‘Already see’ and ‘Pertain’ in this list. And if I still have time, I will explain idea ‘Expire’ on a separate list. If I don’t, I will explain idea ‘Expire’ next Saturday. After I explain idea ‘Expire’, I would be able to explain idea ‘Expire lack’, but what I will do is explain ideas ‘Admit’, ‘Anticipate’, and maybe 2 more ideas before I finally explain idea ‘Expire lack’. In my opinion, this study plan looks promising. So, I will offer you the music video I found earlier today, and then explain ideas ‘Already see’ and ‘Pertain’ on this list.

The music video I watch earlier today for the 1st time is from song ‘We Were’ by Keith Urban. Here is a quote from wikipedia.org:

“We Were” is a song written by Eric Church, Ryan Tyndell, and Jeff Hyde and recorded by Australian country music artist Keith Urban. ‘

‘ The song uses “vivid imagery” and “earnest nostalgia” to tell of “romances that we all know won’t last”. ‘

Here is a quote from the lyrics of song ‘We Were’:

And we were leather jackets, hangin’ on to a Harley, two heartbeats in the moonlight
We were, both feet hanging out over the edge of the water tower skyline
At least there’s a little bit of sweet in the bitter, though a part of me is always gonna miss it
I am who I am, I just miss who I was when we were

I found the music video ‘We Were’ in www.youtube.com, category ‘Top 100 Songs Of The Week – October 26, 2019 (Billboard Hot 100)’ from publisher ‘TopMusicMafia’. It gives you a few seconds of preview for the music videos associated with those songs. In those previews, music video ‘We Were’ was shown 40 seconds into those previews. It is listed as #97. To watch the music video for free, search for phrase ‘we were keith urban’ in www.youtube.com, and it should be one of the 1st selections offered, with over 2.4 million views. It was published Aug 2, 2019, almost 3 months ago.

If you like country music, you may find watching music video ‘We Were’ relaxing. In youtube, it is called a ‘One Shot Video’. I think that means that, when you watch it, the video always follows Keith Urban as he sings and performs that song in the video. There are no interruptions, no change in camera angles, in Keith Urban’s performance. It’s all done in ‘one shot’. If you choose to watch it, I recommend you use ‘Theater mode’. The 1st time you watch it, I recommend you use the ‘cc’ mode(closed captions), so that you can look at the lyrics as Keith Urban sings them. That way, if you watch it a 2nd time, you can better enjoy watching it. Also, start 14 seconds into the music video. The beginning is kind of boring.

Already see:

It is now 1:53 PM EST for me. Let’s start by using the illustrations for idea ‘Already see’: The 1st illustration is from the 1988 article from ‘The New York Times’ called ”Jurors Will Disregard’ Is Often Not Regarded’. Just search in www.google.com for phrase ‘jurors will disregard’, and it should be one of the 1st selections offered. Click that, and in that article, if you see the words ‘This is your one article preview.’, click the ‘x’, or click ‘Continue to your one article’., and you can look at the entire article, if you want to. Here is a quote from that article:

‘ It is common for judges to instruct jurors to disregard information in deciding a case, such as telling them to ignore what they have read in newspapers, or, in the case of medical malpractice lawsuits, to ignore the disastrous conditions that provoked the suits, Professor Casper said. ‘

‘ Albert Alschuler, a University of Chicago law professor, said the notion that jurors can disregard what they have heard was regarded as ”unmitigated fiction” as long as 50 years ago by Justice Robert H. Jackson of the United States Supreme Court.

”But what’s the alternative?” Professor Alschuler said, adding that it would be impossible to start every trial over when inappropriate evidence emerges. ‘

The 2nd illustration is from the movie ‘Never Say Never Again(1983)’, starring Sean Connery as James Bond, and Bernie Casey as Felix Leiter. In that scene, James Bond and Leiter are talking. The movie is available streaming from Amazon.com, and according to Amazon Video, that scene starts 1 hour, 29 minutes, and 34 seconds into the movie. Here is the quote:

Felix Leiter: ‘Good show, James. Q actually came through, didn’t he?’

James Bond: ‘How long have you been here?’

Felix Leiter: ‘Long enough.’

James Bond: ‘Long enough for what?’

Felix Leiter: ‘To see how you handled the lady. You did rather well.’

The 3rd reference is in episode 3.17 ‘Kansas’ from sci-fi tv series ‘Seven Days(2001)’, starring Jonathan LaPaglia as Frank Parker. The episode is not available streaming from Amazon.com, but Amazon does sell the DVD for it. The episode is available streaming for free from www.youtube.com. Just search for phrase ‘seven days 3.17 kansas’, and there’s a selection with 41 minutes and 57 seconds, probably the whole episode. Here is a quote from www.imdb.com about the episode:

‘ A freak accident during some tests on the sphere, accidentally sends Parker into an alternate universe where the government is authoritarian and the NNL base is commanded with deadly force. ‘

And here is a quote from wikipedia.org about the episode:

‘ To ease the ride for their backup chrononaut, Donovan, the team tests out new sphere software designed to make the ride less painful. During testing, a power loss accidentally launches the sphere. When Parker lands, NNL has changed dramatically; everybody on the base is a drastically different person than before: an Admiral Donovan is Parker’s ruthless nemesis and Talmadge rules NNL with an iron fist, while Ramsey is an incompetent hippie whose uncle keeps him employed at NNL. With the help of Svetlana Vukavitch (Stephanie Romanov) and a convinced Owsley, Parker launches the sphere again, landing back in his original reality. ‘

The 4th illustration is from comic book ‘DCeased(2019) #4. It’s available from www.comixology.com as a digital comic book, and it’s about 4 dollars. I recommend that, if you can, look at that recommended scene in that comic book. The 1st 3 illustrations are great, but this one in my opinion gives this idea some juice. If you go to comixology and purchase it, go to page 7. Here is the quote:

Green Lantern: ‘We can’t have you back out there. You’re too great a threat. If you saw a screen… ‘

Superman: ‘I won’t.’

Green Lantern: ‘How can you possibly know that?’

It should be taken at least an hour before you go for viagra cheap usa sexual intercourse. If you are searching for a good Apple repair shop that is within Scottsdale, you should get in touch with the doctor so that if any inconvenience occurs then you could have an instant help from their side. prescription du canada viagra Take some warm purchase tadalafil water in a glass and then add half teaspoon of turmeric in it. The cheap viagra pfizer fee also depends upon the kind of conditions provided.

Superman: ‘Because I’ve been using my x-ray vision… from the nanosecond I worked out what was causing this.’

Idea ‘Already see’ is to help you allocate certain interpretations, contemplations, notions, etc. that you may believe, for example, is discouraging you from perceiving in a reasonable context. To give idea ‘Already see’ some legitimacy, I offered you the article
”Jurors Will Disregard’ Is Often Not Regarded’ ‘. Again, here is a quote:

‘ It is common for judges to instruct jurors to disregard information in deciding a case, such as telling them to ignore what they have read in newspapers, or, in the case of medical malpractice lawsuits, to ignore the disastrous conditions that provoked the suits, Professor Casper said. ‘

For example, if you choose to use this idea, I recommend that you practice using this idea while you are sitting in a moving school or public bus, or while you are waiting in a bus terminal while it is busy.

[11/8/2019: I chose to delete the example that was here.It took me a few weeks to finally delete it because of the priority I gave in order to type idea ‘Exist’. 11/8/2019]

Idea ‘Already see’ helps you allocate evaluations from a person’s presented identity, evaluations that may affect how you objectively evaluate such a person. You can still see them, of course, but with idea ‘Already see’, you may be able to omit certain evaluations that they present to you as ‘not relevant’, or ‘not needed to be given a certain credence’.

Let’s look at the 2nd illustration from movie ‘Never Say Never Again’:

Felix Leiter: ‘Good show, James. Q actually came through, didn’t he?’

James Bond: ‘How long have you been here?’

Felix Leiter: ‘Long enough.’

James Bond: ‘Long enough for what?’

Felix Leiter: ‘To see how you handled the lady. You did rather well.’

Of course, something happened before that. It’s a James Bond movie. There’s violence in it. Just don’t use that part for this advice, and refurbish the illustration use for this advice. For example, Felix Leiter was already there when James Bond was in trouble, but all he seemingly did was watch. The point is that James Bond did not get into a fight with Felix Leiter for just watching. He could have used Felix Leiter’s help. Instead, James Bond did express obvious concern about what Felix Leiter did. That ‘Never Say Never Again’ example represents an ‘Already see’ example, and some sort of imagined government agent managing of it’s use.

The 3rd example, 3.17 ‘Kansas’ from sci-fi tv series ‘Seven Days(2001)’, you may not have seen before. Here is a quote:

When Parker lands, NNL has changed dramatically; everybody on the base is a drastically different person than before: an Admiral Donovan is Parker’s ruthless nemesis and Talmadge rules NNL with an iron fist, while Ramsey is an incompetent hippie whose uncle keeps him employed at NNL.

If you decide to watch that episode from youtube, notice that, when the sphere brought him to that place, Frank Parker initially had difficulty determining why the people around him were acting so differently. Something happened 13 minutes and 34 seconds into that youtube episode, when Frank Parker started to talk to Dr. Bradley Talmadge(Alan Scarfe). Here is the quote:

Frank Parker: ‘Bradley, what the heck is going on here?’

Dr. Bradley Talmadge: ‘Frank, Admiral Donovan claims you’ve been damaged in a test. Is that right?’

Frank Parker: ‘Well, uh…’

Dr. Bradley Talmadge: ‘Is anything wrong?’

Frank Parker: ‘Oh, definitely, but it ain’t me, sir.’

Dr. Bradley Talmadge: ‘Can’t you and Donovan ever get along?’

Frank Parker: ‘Yeah, I guess not.’

Although the example is a bit sci-fi, Frank Parker is demonstrating that he is changing how he is evaluating the people around him. At the end of the episode, based on my refurbishing assessment, even though he believes that what just happened was the result of some sort of government division something, he looks at the American flag, and his assessment of it gives him solace and continuity.

And in the 4th illustration from comic book ‘DCeased(2019) #4’, here is the quote:

Superman: ‘Because I’ve been using my x-ray vision… from the nanosecond I worked out what was causing this.’

If you choose to look at that scene from page 7, you get an illustration of seeing through Superman’s eyes. He is using his x-ray vision to perceive, which allows him to avoid Darkseid’s accidentally created technology virus. If you look at that, based on my experience, it feels as if idea ‘Already see’ is humbly being made more aware to you.

So, if you choose to use idea ‘Already see’, to start you off, while you are in a bus terminal in a crowded day, or while you are sitting in a moving bus, while using this advice, contemplationally say ‘Already see’, to see if what certain people are showing you may be bothering you. Maybe you can allocate some of those evaluations from their presented identities that they want you to ‘already see’. Of course, you can still see them. The idea of ‘Already see’ is to make more tenable how you evaluate such people.

Pertain:

According to www.dictionary.com, ‘pertain’ means ‘to have reference or relation; relate’, and the dictionary example is ‘documents pertaining to the lawsuit’. Here is the main example I invented for idea ‘Pertain’: Suppose a teenage boy or adult man is waiting in a bus terminal during a crowded morning. That boy or adult man sees an attractive woman walking by let’s say 25 feet away, and she is presenting a sense of rejection. When that teenage boy or adult man sees that rejection, they contemplationally make a comment to themselves about that impression of rejection.

So, here’s my interpretation of that situation using idea ‘Pertain’: The teenage boy and adult man did not agree to have a conversation with that attractive woman walking by 25 feet away. Therefore, that impression of being rejected is moot(of little or no practical value, meaning, or relevance). However, they interpreted that impression of rejection as if it was an actual conversation that they agreed to have with that attractive woman. In other words, in the context of an agreed upon conversation, that impression of rejection should not pertain to them.

Certain details of mild to moderate instigations that you may experience may be allocated, simply because they should not pertain to you. For example, you did not agree to address it, interact with it, evaluate it, etc.

The actual purpose of idea ‘Pertain’ is to give certain chosen contemplations more depth, like filling a balloon with more air. I invented idea ‘Pertain’ maybe a month or so ago, and that was the best idea I can think of at the time for such a meaning. So, even though pertain says ‘Hey, that rejection is not an actual conversation!’, it’s purpose is to try to give more depth to certain chosen notions. For example, when a person says ‘As opposed to what?’, you can also say ‘As it pertains to what?’ In other words, if you choose to use idea ‘Pertain’ to add more depth, you’re trying to use one thing for another, like a ‘MacGyver’ episode.

It’s now 3:38 PM EST for me. I’m going to close this list. Next Saturday, I will finally explain idea ‘Resist’, so that I can eventually explain idea ‘Expire lack’, an idea I am actively using now. So, if you are there, I’ll see you then.

TV-14 violence and viewer discretion for sci-fi tv show ‘Timeless’. Rated PG violence and viewer discretion for movie ‘Never Say Never Again’. Violence and viewer discretion for sci-fi tv series ‘Seven Days’. Comic book gory violence and viewer discretion for comic book ‘DCeased(2019) #4’. Use refurbished for advice references recommended. Throw away rest of episode, series, movie, and comic book. [Use mental bookmarks ‘Already see’ and ‘Pertain’ for reference, allocation, and prevention when needed.

[10/21/2019: I chose to delete the original greeting, for the sake of the future kids. The original greeting was only out for 3 days:

My boss, your partner… the game goes on.

(said as a greeting. I’m still using episode 7.13 ‘Their Last Bow’ from season ‘Elementary(2019)’. That is a quote from Ellory(Wrenn Schmidt) talking to Joan(Lucy Liu). According to Amazon Video, that scene starts 25 minutes and 47 seconds into the episode.) 10/21/2019]

It is now 1:03 PM EST for me. The music video that I recommend for this advice and have watched for the 1st time less than a half an hour ago is called ‘Nice to Meet Ya’ by Niall Horan. Here’s a quote from the song’s wikipedia page:

Nice to Meet Ya” is a song by Irish singer Niall Horan, released through Capitol Records ss the lead single from his upcoming second studio album on 4 October 2019. Horan co-wrote the track with Ruth-Anne Cunningham in one day.

And here is a quote from a review from web site rte.ie about song ‘Nice to Meet Ya’. I found the review in google:

‘ Accompanied by a simple 90’s piano riff, Horan adopts a husky voice and sings fondly of a fickle lover who aimless drops in and out of his life. As he compliments and sweet talks this mysterious woman in the second verse, his lively band join in and bring a heavier tone to the mix. ‘

And here is a quote from the lyrics:

Nice to meet ya, what’s your name?
Let me treat you to a drink
Nice to meet ya, where ya been?
(I got love for you, I got love for you)
Let me treat you to a drink
(I got love for you, I got love for you)

I found the music video from a commercial in the beginning of one of those music videos I was considering earlier today. In www.youtube.com, I was looking in publisher ‘Vevo’, category ‘Pop-Teen!’. Currently, ‘Pop-Teen!’ has 239 videos, and I was about to look at #18, by Kylie Cantrall, ‘I Do My Thing’, but before that happened, a 14 second ad appeared about Niall Horan’s music video, ‘Nice To Meet Ya’. Since I liked it, I opened up another window for youtube, and searched for phrase ‘niall horan’. According to the selection, music video ‘Nice To Meet Ya’ premiered Oct 4, 2019, about 2 weeks ago. It already has over 13 million views in about 2 weeks!

I made a new idea this past Thursday, 10/17/2019, and I believe I can try to explain it, but in a context that gives you a prospect. According to dictionary.com, ‘prospect’ means ‘an apparent probability of advancement, success, profit, etc.’ It is better for me to explain certain other ideas before explaining this new idea, but to do so may take maybe 4-6 Saturdays to explain them all. So, instead of doing that, I’m presenting this new idea to you as a ‘prospect’. The other ideas that I will explain after this one should compliment this new idea.

Before I explain the new idea, I want to explain idea ‘Disappointment’:

Disappointments:

To be clear, I don’t want to remove your definitions of what ‘disappointment’ means. Keep all of it. What I do believe is happening to many Americans is that their use of disappointment, adversely affected by instigations of course, has been stereotyped. For example, you only use one thing for that thing only, and not anything else, but in a context that is not in your best interest. For example, I believe many people use disappointment as an indicator to avoid certain experiences. I also use disappointment as an indicator to avoid certain experiences. What I am recommending is that you create more fortified uses of disappointment that have different expectations.

Here’s one example that I imagined: Even though it’s been years since I played any mainstream popular video games, I think that there’s a certain characteristic that is the same for many of those video games, that the game stops when you experience a certain amount of disappointment. So, if you play video games, you are already using video game disappointments as some sort of memory bookmark, so that you can remember when the video game ends.

Another example is what I imagined earlier today, when I watched the music video ‘Nice To Meet Ya’. 1 minute and 38 seconds into the music video, I noticed that Niall Horan entered a clothing store called ‘Henry Poole & Co’ to get a new suit. I imagined that I was in a relationship with that woman Niall Horan was with. Based on the comments in youtube, I’m assuming that woman is one of the Victoria Secret models. So, for the story, I’m in a relationship with Victoria, I’ll call her Victoria, and I said to Victoria that I want her to be in that store with me when I’m getting measured. She told me that she absolutely hates doing things like that, but I said to her that it would mean a lot to me if she was there. So, even with her disappointments to be in that tailoring store, she agreed with me, and she stayed there while I was getting my new suit. Victoria talked to one of her women friends about the experience, and her friend said to her ‘Why didn’t you hit him or punch him for making you experience that?’, and Victoria said to her friend ‘You can do that?’ (The example is meant to show you that, in spite of Victoria’s disappointments, she was still able to participate, even with such disappointments.)

You see where I’m getting at? It’s possible to create other varieties of disappointments, other fortified uses of disappointments that have other expectations, other intensities.

Here’s another example of ‘Disappointments’ that I thought of recently: suppose that you are working for a big company that has divisions of it’s company in other countries. You have a general sense of what the employees in America for your company are like, and you are used to the routine associated with working in America. However, if you chose to visit those other divisions that your company has for other countries, you may be easily offended, because the routine that you are used to in America for the most part is not followed in those other countries. If you knew in advance that many aspects of your routine would not be accommodated, perhaps you would not be so offended.

And, of course, if you choose to make more fortified uses for disappointments, use your common sense. I heard some years ago about man and a woman who were married attended a big party, and the man said something offensive about his wife in the party, and that caused them to get a divorce. I extrapolated from that story, and I imagined a man who was Klingon, and he said something to other Klingons in such a big party, but in a Klingon context. When just the appearance of his words spread out throughout the party, that man, well, that was it. I think I just created that story as a supplement for the 1st story. Let’s say for this story that the Klingon man got divorced, and he was married to a human woman, because of what he said in that party. The ‘Disappointments’ idea is great logically, but when you start articulating it’s use, just use your common sense. For example, don’t assume that people have your unique understandings available to them.

Refute replace:

According to www.dictionary.com, ‘refute’ means ‘to prove to be false or erroneous, as an opinion or charge’. I invented idea ‘Refute replace’ yesterday, 10/19/2019, when I was coming back home from picking up the DVD’s/Blu-rays from the post office. 1st, let me give you 3 illustration examples that I am using for idea ‘Refute replace’, and that should make it easier for me to explain the idea further.

The 1st illustration is in episode 4.14 ‘Journey’s End’ from sci-fi tv series ‘Doctor Who(2008)’. In that scene, Dalek Caan and Davros(Julian Beach) are talking. The episode is available streaming from Amazon.com, and if you have Amazon Prime, the episode is available without additional payment. According to Amazon Video, that scene starts 41 minutes and 19 seconds. Here is the quote:

Davros: ‘But you promised me, Dalek Caan! Why did you not foresee this?’

Dalek Caan: (LAUGHING)

The Doctor(David Tennant): ‘Oh, I think he did. Something’s been manipulating the time lines for ages… ‘

Dalek Caan: ‘This would always have happened. I only helped, Doctor.’

Davros: ‘You betrayed the Daleks!’

Dalek Caan: ‘I saw the Daleks, what we have done throughout time and space. I saw the truth of us, Creator. And I decreed no more!’

The 2nd illustration is in episode 7.13 ‘Judged’ from crime tv show ‘The Good Wife(2016)’. In that scene, Alicia(Julianna Margulies) and Bernie Bukovitz(Rob Bartlett) are talking. Amazon.com has the episode available streaming, and if you have Amazon Prime, that scene is available without additional payment. According to Amazon Video, that scene starts 21 minutes and 31 seconds into the episode. Here is the quote:

Alicia: ‘Bernie? What’s up?’

Bernie: ‘Clayton Riggs(Daniel J. Watts) still wants to sue for his imprisonment.’

Alicia: ‘I know. We’re revising our strategy with Schakowsky(Christopher McDonald).’

Bernie: ‘We already did.’

Alicia: ‘We already did? What does that mean?’

Bernie: ‘Clayton and me. I met with him after you left court. I signed him as a client.’

Alicia: ‘You snaked him.’

Bernie: ‘Yes. We’re also suing you for malpractice.’

The 3rd illustration is in sci-fi movie ‘Men in Black II(2002)’, starring Tommy Lee Jones as Agent Kay, and Will Smith as Agent Jay. The movie is available as a streaming rental and purchase from Amazon.com, and according to Amazon Video, that scene starts 53 minutes and 9 seconds into the movie, Agent Kay is talking to the locker aliens. Here is the quote:

Agent Kay: ‘O good and gentle townfolk of locker C-18, did I leave anything here?’

Locker alien: ‘Yes. The timekeeper. You left it to illuminate our streets and our hearts.’

Agent Kay: ‘I’ve been looking everywhere for that watch.’

Locker aliens: ‘O merciful one! The clock tower!’

Agent Jay: ‘No, I-I-I got y’all. It’s cool. Here, check this out. Titanium case, waterproof to over 300 meters. That’s bangin’, right?’

So, here’s the idea: Let’s start with the phrase:

‘Sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me.’

Here’s a quote from wikipedia.org as to the meaning of that phrase:

Sticks and Stones” is an English-language children’s rhyme. The rhyme persuades the child victim of name-calling to ignore the taunt, to refrain from physical retaliation, and to remain calm and good-living.

When an instigator causes you to experience a false accusation, one possible effect is that you may contemplationally and composure feel like you should refute that statement. For example, a contemplation effort to resolve may cause you to feel like you should contemplationally refute that false accusation. Part of the solution from idea ‘Refute replace’ is that you choose to not act upon the obvious inclination of that feeling. For example, a false accusation causes you to feel a contemplation effort to resolve to refute that false accusation. You choose to not refute it, since you already know that such a statement or experience is false. Just like part of that rhyme says:

‘…but names will never hurt me.’

In my opinion, for a child to use it, that means that child knows that such a false accusation is false, because that child’s parents regularly give that child positive self esteem affirmations. That’s why such ‘names’ will never hurt that child.

The idea is called ‘Refute replace’ because the instigator may use a misleading sense of refuting to cause you to give some sort of credence/importance to a contemplation replacement that is associated with such a feeling of refuting. One example of replacement is betrayal. According to www.dictionary.com, ‘betrayal’ means ‘to disappoint the hopes and expectations of; be disloyal to’. The 1st example of betrayal is in episode 4.14 ‘Journey’s End’ from sci-fi tv series ‘Doctor Who(2008)’:

Davros: ‘You betrayed the Daleks!’

Since the betrayal was done to the villains, and it contributed to ‘good winning against evil’, since I am assuming that some kids probably watched that episode, then it’s an example of betrayal that kids probably absorb easily.

The 2nd example of ‘replace’ is in episode 7.13 ‘Judged’ from crime tv show ‘The Good Wife(2016)’, when Clayton Riggs changed lawyers. If you interpret the episode at ‘face value’, it’s understandable why Clayton Riggs changed lawyers. He was given a better deal by another lawyer. However, if you refurbish those related scenes in that episode, and you remove some of that circumstantial justification Clayton Riggs was in, you may see how Alicia, refurbished of course, could represent a person who did a lot for Clayton Riggs, and even though Alicia did a lot for him, he chose to end his obligation with Alicia, in order to pursue a better obligation from another person. Of course, that is not the case with Clayton Riggs. But if you change those scenes around, in other situations, let’s say business situations, for example, it may not seem fair that Clayton Riggs would discontinue the deal he made with Alicia in favor of a better deal made with another businessperson. The point is that Alicia experienced a ‘replace’ example when she talked to Riggs, and you may put that ‘replace’ example to use for this advice.

Now, the 3rd example is in sci-fi movie ‘Men in Black II(2002)’, starring Tommy Lee Jones as Agent Kay, and Will Smith as Agent Jay. This is when I think I invented idea ‘Refute replace’. While I was walking from the post office yesterday, 10/18/2019, I started using idea ‘Refute replace’. I imagined some of the people in my line of sight, some of the people that I was able to see, based on that scene in the movie ‘Men in Black II’, when Agent Jay gave the locker aliens another watch to look at, I imagined that that I gave some of those people another watch, and they seemed to appreciate the extra watch that I gave them. I even patted them on the shoulder afterwards after I gave them that watch. You see, when I imagined doing that, it was me giving myself a positive in my favor example of replacing one perspective, one rationalization, etc. for another. It allows me to practice using idea ‘Refute replace’, before I actually experience an instigation or related inadvertency. You can also use idea ‘Refute replace’ for other non-instigation things, such as perspective balance, but I don’t want to talk about that in detail right now.

So, when you experience an instigation associated with idea ‘Refute replace’, one example is that you may feel like refuting a false accusation, and that false accusation is also associated with a contemplation replacing that you did not agree to address or commit to in such a context. For now, I recommend that you practice in a reasonable context, imagining giving other people watches that they seem to like, and patting them on the shoulder, if you choose to. That may give you a positive sense of replacing.

[It is now 5:11 PM EST for me. I am going to close this idea now. I will explain ideas ‘Already see’ and ‘Pertain’ next week, unless I think of a better idea to give you. So, if you are there, I’ll see you then.

Yes, it is.

(said as a greeting. The quote is from the ‘Pringles Wavy’ commercial posted in youtube Apr 1, 2019. To make the phrase ‘Yes, it is.’ more believable to think about, I recommend that you just imagine that there is another boy that is saying that, and that boy is younger than the boy in that commercial.)

It is now 10:53 AM EST for me. I will explain ideas ‘Already see’, ‘Pertain’, and finally ‘Resist’. Right now, I want to explain another idea I recently invented that I call ‘Attention span’. The music video I recommend for this advice, it’s a short music video that I think I watched for the 1st time earlier today, and I think I may have watched it at least 5 times already, is called ‘Just Wanna Go’ by Rayla. According to youtube, music video ‘Just Wanna Go’ is the theme for tv show ‘Fast Layne’. Here is a short quote from wikipedia about the tv series ‘Fast Layne’:

Fast Layne is an American comedy television series created by Travis Braun that premiered on Disney Channel on February 15, 2019.

I found music video ‘Just Wanna Go’ from www.youtube.com, publisher ‘Vevo’, category ‘Specialty Playlists’. When you click ‘Specialty Playlists’, click category ‘Pop-Teen!’. ‘Pop-Teen!’s theme is ‘Videos from the young voices of now’. Click ‘Pop-Teen!’, and Rayla’s ‘Just Wanna Go’ is listed as #123. To watch music video ‘Just Wanna Go’ for free, search in www.youtube.com for phrase ‘rayla just wanna go’, and it should be one of the 1st selections offered, with over 370 thousand views. It was published Feb 17, 2019, about 8 months ago.

Here’s a quote from the lyrics of music video ‘Just Wanna Go’:

Oh yeah I’m ready for it
You know I’m ready for it
I JUST WANNA GO
You know im ready for it
Oh yeah I’m ready for it
I JUST WANNA GO
Let’s go!

I know this is standard demographic advice, so this is just one recommendation as to how to watch music video ‘Just Wanna Go’. 1st, keep in mind that it’s a music video for a tv series that is in the Disney Channel. So, even though I don’t have kids of my own, I imagined fathers encouraging their young daughters, let’s say 5-8 years old, to verbally articulate with other adults for something they are prepared to articulate about. For something about this one example, the music video when you watch it feels like it’s encouraging kids to articulate. For example, 29 seconds into the music video, the singer Rayla dressed up as a mechanic, pushes a tire to roll ahead of her, and that’s when the song’s lyrics say ‘Let’s go!’. I believe that tire rolling scene can obviously represent articulation encouragement.

[It’s 11:20 AM EST for me. I’m going to order food now, and then start typing soon after that. Until then, if you choose to in relation to advice, you may watch music video ‘Just Wanna Go’ several times. I’lll be back.

Attention span:

It is now 11:54 AM EST for me. So, here’s the reason for this idea. I believe that how we manage our use of attention span is something that we will do from childhood to adulthood. Based on my job experience, learning to manage attention span use will continue well into your adult years. And my recent understanding of attention span revealed to me that I should talk about it before I explain idea ‘Resist’ to you. So, if you think that attention span is something that is useful for you to learn about, then I recommend that you use this advice, your way, of course, in relation to advice said.

Here’s the definition of ‘attention span’ from www.dictionary.com: ‘the interval during which an individual can concentrate, as on a single object, idea, or activity’. So, here’s one thing that I think is happening, just based on imagination and speculation, in American grammar schools and high schools. I’m going to use a quote from near the end of music video ‘Picture This’ by Annie LeBlanc. To watch it for free, search for phrase ‘picture this leblanc’ in www.youtube.com. The quote starts 3 minutes and 9 seconds into the music video. Based on my understanding of the music video, Annie LeBlanc is having a very vivid daydream while she is in a diner with her friends. And towards the end of the music video, one of her friends are trying to change her attention span use. Here is the quote:

Friend: ‘Annie… Annie! Hello? Annie, snap out of it! Hello! Snap out of it!

Here’s a story I said in one of the earlier lists regarding daydreaming. Students are not encouraged to daydream while in class. You’re supposed to be paying attention to your teachers. If you daydream too much, and the teacher catches you, you could be sent to detention. Problems with daydreaming in school may cause a student to take a course over. Let’s say many students make a real effort to not daydream in class. One example of what might happen is what happened to Annie LeBlanc in the music video ‘Picture This’. While she’s with her friends, she drifts into a vivid daydream, imagining being with a boy from school that she likes. One of her friends had to verbally help her change her attention span use.

Based on that ‘daydreaming’ example, students are learning to manage their attention span use. On a more serious note, I want to address the need for teenagers to get a drivers license. Again, based on a belief, not something that I can verify, there are many places in America where you would need a car, or else you won’t be able to do anything. Not every place in America has an incredibly convenient public transportation system. This is what happened while I was in high school: I heard that one of the students that I knew, and at the time I thought it had something to do with him getting his license, that this student got into a car accident while looking at several teenage girls walking on the sidewalk. I believe that this is a major problem that many teenage boys are learning to cope with. They’re learning to manage their attention span use while noticing attractive teenage girls and women walk on the sidewalks. As an illustration example, I recommend watching a scene from the trailer of movie ‘Memoirs of a Geisha’ from www.youtube.com. The scene starts 1 minute and 3 seconds into the trailer:

‘A true Geisha can stop a man in his tracks with a single look.’

In that scene, a man while riding his bicycle was distracted when a woman looked at him to the point where he lost control of how he used his bicycle, and that caused him to get into an accident.

It is now 1:22 PM EST for me. I have eaten some of the take out food that I ordered. I am going to provide 4 more ‘attention span’ illustrations before I continue with the main ‘attention span’ explanation.

Before I continue, I want to say to the kids reading this blog that I am not a psychiatrist, or anyone that can professionally give advice. In general, this is just advice to help people cope with experiencing instigation. I sometimes talk about medical situations that I believe people in general should know about. I am saying this now to help kids use this advice with a reasonable amount of importance. Also, I am not discouraging people from seeking out a therapist. It is my belief that the language that psychiatrists use is more rooted into American society than any other language that I am aware of. [10/12/2019: Now that I think of it, there are probably other languages rooted into American society, languages more important than psychiatry, but it’s beyond my understanding to know what they are, and I am only imagining that they exist. That means that the language of psychiatry to me is the most rooted language in American society that I am aware of. 10/12/2019] For example, in my opinion, a psychiatrist who also specializes in cultural anthropology one would imagine would be the psychiatrist that American civilians would consider directing certain personal business projects that they may have.

The 1st ‘attention span’ illustration is in episode 2.17 ‘A Piece of the Action’ from sci-fi tv show ‘Star Trek(1968)’. Here is a brief explanation of the episode from wikipedia:

The Enterprise visits a planet with a violent culture based on Americas 1920s prohibition era.

One interesting thing about that description is that the sci-fi episode was made in 1968, and it’s objectifying an impression of American lifestyle that existed just under 50 years ago from 1968! Certain old adults who watched this ‘Star Trek’ episode in 1968 could have been a part of that actual 1920s prohibition era. It’s amazing how quickly American society is changing.

The reason I am recommending that you watch the soon to be indicated scene is that the sci-fi episode in my opinion gives you an easily imagined situation where a revealed use of attention span interaction easily influenced a group of adults who practice that 1920s lifestyle. Specifically, it’s a group of gangsters, but in this ‘Star Trek’ episode, the gangsters are the ones that officially govern their country. The episode is available streaming from Amazon.com, and according to Amazon Video, that scene starts 13 minutes and 27 seconds into the episode. In the context of attention span use, I think that the best moment in that scene is when Kirk(William Shatner) and the others surprised the gangsters, and they used that surprise to beat them up. I think that the boys that watch that scene should find that entertaining to watch. Here is the quote:

Dr. McCoy(DeForest Kelley): ‘One book on the gangs of Chicago did all this. It’s amazing.’

Mr. Spock(Leonard Nimoy): ‘They evidently seized upon that one book as the blueprint for an entire society.’

Dr. McCoy: ‘As The Bible.’

Captain Kirk: ‘In old Chicago, conventional government almost broke down. The gangs nearly took over.’

Dr. McCoy: ‘Yeah, well, this Oxmyx(Anthony Caruso) is the worst gangster of all.’

Mr. Spock: ‘We may quarrel with Mr. Oxmyx’ methods, but his goal is essentially the correct one. This society must become united, or it will degenerate into total anarchy.’

Captain Kirk: ‘If this society broke down as a result of the Horizon’s(I’m assuming the Horizon is the name of a Federation starship) influence, then the Federation is responsible, and we’ve got to do something to straighten this mess out. Spock, if you could get to the sociological computers, do you think you could find a solution?’

Mr. Spock: ‘Unfortunately, I do not access to my computers, nor are these gentlemen likely to permit it.’

Captain Kirk: ‘Well, I’ve got an idea about that.’

And this is when Captain Kirk presents an attention span for the gangsters to interact with. The purpose is to distract them, which would allow them to beat them up, so that they can be free of their imprisonment. That scene starts 14 minutes and 20 seconds into the episode:

Captain Kirk: ‘Gentlemen, gentlemen… this, uh… this card game is a kid’s game.’

Kalo(Lee Delano): ‘You think so, huh?’

Captain Kirk: ‘Oh, yes, yes. I wouldn’t waste my time.’

Kalo: ‘Who’s asking you?’

Kirk: ‘On, uh, Beta Antares IV, they play a real game. It’s a man’s game, but of course, probably a little beyond you. It requires intelligence.’

Kalo: ‘Listen, Kirk, I can play anything you can figure out. Take the cards, big man. Show us how it’s played.’

If you watch the rest of it, Kirk soon after creates a distraction, which was used to beat the gangsters up. If you are familiar with the older ‘Star Trek’ episodes, there’s usually some sort of fighting involved.

This 2nd illustration example I just thought up less than a half an hour ago I think. It’s based on the phrase I typed in earlier. Here is the quote:

‘ Now that I think of it, there are probably other languages rooted into American society, languages more important than psychiatry, but it’s beyond my understanding to know what they are, and I am only imagining that they exist. That means that the language of psychiatry to me is the most rooted language in American society that I am aware of. ‘

To clarify, here is a scene from episode 3.3 “Self-Inflicted Wounds (Part 1): Could’a, Would’a, Should’a” from sci-fi tv series ‘Farscape(2001)’. In that scene, the alien Neeyala(Victoria Longley), John Crichton(Ben Browder), and Aeryn Sun(Claudia Black) are talking. The episode is available streaming from Amazon.com, and if you have Amazon Prime, the episodes of ‘Farscape’ are available to you without additional payment. That scene starts 7 minutes and 7 seconds into the episode. Here is a quote:

Neeyala: ‘We were regaining dimensionality when our ships collided. They must have been subjected to a massive burst of photonic distortion. Once the phaztillion generator is repaired, we’ll dose ourselves and hope your living ship doesn’t interfere with nonthermal dimensional forces.’

Aeryn Sun: ‘Do you understand any of those words?’

cialis cheapest Before I reveal what it is, think about all the subject lines that get your attention. Another best thing about this medicine is concerned with cialis in spain its purchasing. John Crichton: ‘Yeah. I watched all kinds of ‘Star Trek’. It’s just the order that they’re in.’ (That means that John doesn’t understand what Neeyala had just said.)

Neeyala: ‘You said you studied wormholes.’

My point is that I am now aware that it’s possible that kids could be trying to extrapolate answers from the tv shows, movies, and of course music videos that they have watched. That makes sense, since I am using tv shows, movies, and music videos, refurbished of course, to convey certain meanings. So, therefore, it’s possible that, when confronted with certain mild to moderate forms of instigations, that they may also try to extrapolate some sort of mitigation or solution from such information sources.

To make you more aware of it, if your contemplation attempts discover something, and it becomes somewhat unweildy or somewhat unacceptable for you to use, then simply stop using it as a possible mitigation or solution. Based on a recent quote that I made, I considered something, but in a certain context, it was created using a certain use of speculation and imagination that was unacceptable to be used as an ‘actual’ mitigation or solution. In short, I thought about it, determined that it was not usable, and then discarded it as something to be actually used. I’m telling you this now because some of the possible solutions that you may have already encountered may have already been in the form of being somewhat unacceptable. For example, you thought of something that was almost a direct quote from a tv show episode or movie that you have watched. You already had an idea that it was not acceptable, since you could not change it’s original form, and it’s original form was still obviously sci-fi/fictional. So, to help you allocate that experience better, I am recommending to you now to be more aware that you can dismiss such a considered contemplation as being something that you choose to make aware to yourself as being an actual mitigation and/or answer. In other words, like John Crichton said, refurbished for this advice:

‘ John Crichton: ‘Yeah. I watched all kinds of ‘Star Trek’. It’s just the order that they’re in.’ (That means that John doesn’t understand what Neeyala had just said.) ‘

The 3rd illustration example, and I’m only recommending that you watch the scene in that episode, not any other episode, that example is in the dubbed into English Japanese animated episode 1.18 ‘Welcome to No Future’ from tv series ‘Welcome to the NHK!(2006)’. Here is a quote from www.wikipedia.org about the episode:

‘ Realizing he has been tricked, Tatsuhiro meets with Megumi to call the deal off. Although, she seems willing to let him go at first. Nonetheless, she soon manages to distract Tatsuhiro, Misaki, and Kaoru, eventually selling them an ersatz set of dietary supplements, which would allegedly help Tatsuhiro with his hikikomori problem. On the way home, they realize they have been fooled, and they ultimately confront Megumi at her home… ‘

So, basically, the way that that scene is used here, the 3 main characters, Tatsuhiro, Misaki, and Kaoru, believe that they have been cheated by Megumi. When they confront her to get out of their obligation to her, Megumi uses attention span again to obligate them again to something else. I believe you can use this as an example to be cautious as to how to interact with attention spans that have associated obligations. Since it is from a Japanese animated tv series that is primarily used for entertainment purposes, just keep that in mind as you refurbish it’s use. The episode is available streaming from Amazon.com, and according to Amazon Video, the 1st part of that scene starts 7 minutes and 34 seconds into the episode, Tatsuhiro Sato and Kaoru Yamazaki are talking in the bathroom. Here is the quote:

Kaoru Yamazaki: ‘If you don’t quit now, they’ll just keep sending you more and more useless products, unless you terminate your membership, that debt of yours is gonna suck you dry. Do you hear me? Do you get it now?’

The 2nd scene starts 8 minutes and 24 seconds into the episode.
Tatsuhiro, Misaki, and Kaoru meet Megumi in a restaurant in order to cancel their business deal:

Kaoru Yamazaki: ‘I take it that’s her.’

Megumi Kobayashi: ‘Well, well, Satou, I’m impressed. You just started and already recruited new members.’

Tatsuhiro Satou: ‘Well, no, not exactly.’

Misaki Nakahara: ‘He came here for a cleaning off, okay.’

Kaoru Yamazaki: ‘I think you mean ‘cooling off’.’

9 minutes and 10 seconds into the episode:

Megumi Kobayashi: ‘Sure, you can cancel. Unfortunately, I don’t have the papers with me. I’ll have to go pick them up later.

The others: ‘Huh?’

Megumi Kobayashi: ‘What’s wrong?’

Kaoru Yamazaki: ‘We’re just surprised you didn’t make a big stink out of this. We were ready for a fight.’

Megumi Kobayashi: Come on, you guys, I’ll have you know Mouseroad operates on a set of very strict business guidelines.’

Because it’s already 4:21 PM EST for me, here’s what happened: Megumi encourages them to make another commitment, even though they were going in to cancel an already existing commitment. They were not able to acclimate to the fact that they were doing the exact opposite of what their original intent was, not until the meeting was already over. It is my belief that if you watched the recommended scenes from that episode, refurbished for this advice, it may help you better manage your developing use of attention span interaction.

The 4th illustration is in episode 9.16 ‘The Burning’ from comedy tv series ‘Seinfeld(1998)’. Basically, George Costanza(Jason Alexander) gives his boss Kruger(Daniel von Bargen) and the other employees of Kruger in the meeting a statement that created a very enthusiastic response called by the show a ‘high note’, and that caused Kruger to fire those employees because Kruger believed that George Costanza can do the whole projects expectations without them. It would make more sense if Kruger would just make a separate project assignment with George being the only employee in it. But according to the show, Kruger actually fired all of those other employees associated with that original project, believing that George’s ‘high note’ performance was the only proof that he needed to believe that George can do all of it. You can watch that scene from www.youtube.com. Just search for phrase ‘seinfeld george high note’, and there’s a clip called ‘George Goes Out On A High Note’. The episode is also available streaming from Amazon.com, and according to Amazon Video, that scene starts 5 minutes and 35 seconds into the episode:

George Costanza: ‘All right. Well, why don’t we smooth the head down to nothing… stick a pumpkin under it’s arm… and change the nameplate to Ichabod Crane?’ (I have no idea what that means.)

Everyone else in the room laughs to what George said.

George: ‘All right. That’s it for me. Good night, everybody.’ (George leaves the room as everyone else in the room is laughing.)

I looked at the next scene with Kruger and George, and Kruger said that ‘they are all off the project’. I originally thought that Kruger just fired the others. I was mistaken. It was a while ago since I watched that episode, and I’m not a big ‘Seinfeld’ fan. I only watched a few of ‘Seinfeld’s episodes.

All right. Now, to finally get to the ‘attention span’ explanation. This is what I discovered: Attention span alone is not necessarily ‘the answer’. Grammar school and high school students have been taught to pay attention in class, and from time to time, that may require them to make an effort to maintain a certain use of attention span in order to pay attention in class. In Wishlist #1194, from the movie ‘Bad Influence’, I talked about a man who expressed gratitude to Michael Boll(James Spader) for helping him prepare for a test that he had passed. I am assuming that such a test will allow the man to get some sort of promotion or a better job. Since Michael Boll showed indifference to that man’s gratitude, I imagined that such a man learned to interact with courtesies that are articulated with indifference. Even though that such an interaction may not be a requirement in American schools, based on the efforts in general, that American students are using a sense of attention span in order to pay attention in class, that the ability to interact with courtesies expressed with indifference, that ability is something that people who attended American schools should be able to learn.

So, here is how I think in a way mild to moderate forms of instigation affect attention span: if you experienced instigation while attending school, or while working in a job in America, experienced instigations may wane(to decrease in strength, intensity, etc.) somewhat your ability to use your sense of attention span. It is like the preview of the previous scene located in Amazon.com’s episode 7.13 ‘Their Last Bow’ from crime tv show ‘Elementary(2019)’. If you watch the preview at the beginning of the episode from Amazon Video, you see Odin Reichenbach(James Frain) pulling back the bow string from what looks like to me to be a compound bow, and then he let’s go of that bow string. To me, it feels like the use of attention span in general is like pulling on that bow string. For example, you’re paying attention in class, you’re interacting with courtesies that are indifferent, such examples may cause you to make an effort to maintain a sense of attention span that is like pulling on that Odin Reichenbach bow string.

I recently learned from watching a movie, and this discovery happened while I watched that movie, that a person can cause you to make an attention span commitment, and this person is only using such an attention span commitment to communicate with you. For example, there’s this movie starring Selena Gomez called ‘Another Cinderella Story(2008)’, where the celebrity pop idol, Joey Parker, would cause many teenagers to commit some sort of attention span just by being within visual proximity of him. In that example, those teenagers had an obvious appreciation of him. The attention span commitment I am talking about is from a person causing you to commit some sort of attention span commitment, and all you are doing is communicating with that person! From that example, I made the deduction, while watching that movie, that attention span alone is not necessarily the answer. For example, if you’re an adult that spent years of your life cultivating a sense of attention span, but that cultivation involves interacting with courtesies that are indifferent, then interacting with an attention span commitment from such a person would be like Odin Reichenbach letting go of that bow string. It may take you some time to objectively acclimate to such an experience, assuming that you are able to identify it objectively.

I am not saying that interacting with people that encourage you to partially commit to an obvious, extra sense of attention span is a bad thing. I am saying that attention span commitment alone is not necessarily the answer. If you talk to such a person, just because they may dazzle you with their encouragement to cause you to partially commit some extra sense of attention span just to communicate with that person, that doesn’t mean that attention span commitment alone is ‘the answer’ that you seek, if you are looking for ‘an answer’ in that conversation.

All right. I got that Blu-ray from the Blu-ray/DVD mail rental service that I am using. According to that service, that movie was mailed to my PO Box 9/23/19. I was able to watch it for the 1st time probably on Saturday, 9/28/19, and the service received it on 10/01/19. So, to be clear, that was the 1st time I watched that movie, and I fast forward through some of it. There is a lot of gun violence in the movie, and some bad language. Of course, don’t use the bad language, and it’s refurbished for this advice. Before I say the name of the movie, the main actor in that movie is celebrity Samuel L. Jackson. If you are not familiar with him, you may have seen him in some Capital One commercials. For proof, in www.youtube.com, search for phrase ‘samuel jackson capital one’, and the 1st selections should display a few of those commercials. You don’t have to see those commercials. It’s just proof.

OK. The movie is ‘Shaft(2019)’, starring Samuel L. Jackson as John Shaft. The movie is available as a rental and purchase streaming from Amazon.com, and here is one scene in the movie where John Shaft is causing the other people around him to commit to a certain more than normal attention span use just to interact and communicate with him. That scene, refurbished with bad language removed, according to Amazon Video, starts 35 minutes and 35 seconds into the movie, John Shaft and his son John “JJ” Shaft Jr.(Jessie T. Usher) are talking. Here is the quote:

Employee: Welcome to Brothers Watching Brothers. How can I help you?’

John Shaft Jr.: ‘Yes. Hi, um, we were actually going to talk… ‘

Shaft: ‘Yo! Could whoever’s in charge come up front?’

John Shaft Jr: ‘Why do you… Really?’

Major Gary Cutworth(Matt Lauria): ‘Can I help y’all?’

John Shaft Jr: ‘Sorry about that. I’m JJ. This is… ‘

Shaft: ‘Shaft. John Shaft.’

John Shaft Jr.: ‘Ignore him. He thinks he’s the black James Bond.’

Shaft: ‘If that man was real, he’d think he was me.’

John Shaft Jr.: ‘Please, stop.’

Major Gary Cutworth: ‘I’m Major Gary Cutworth. We like to keep it a little casual around here. Just call me Cutty. What can I do you for you fellas?’

So, as a recommendation, when managing your attention span use, based on my limited awareness of attention span managing, there are 3 types of attention span use you may want to add to your ‘attention span’ collection: 1)attention span used to pay attention in class, 2)attention span used to interact with indifferent courtesies, and 3)attention span used that involves partially committing a sense of extra attention span just to communicate and interact with such a person creating such an attention span commitment. | The 3rd type of attention span use is the new one I discovered. And, of course, you probably have other forms of attention span use. I am addressing the possible ‘many schools of thought’ that may be using this blog.

[It is now 6:28 PM EST for me. I am going to close this list now. I will explain ideas ‘Already see’ and ‘Pertain’ next Saturday, unless I invent a better idea or ideas to type in instead. So, if you are there, I’ll see you then.

Wishlist #1195

10/5/2019

My boss, your partner… the game goes on.

(said as a greeting. I’m still using episode 7.13 ‘Their Last Bow’ from season ‘Elementary(2019)’. That is a quote from Ellory(Wrenn Schmidt) talking to Joan(Lucy Liu). According to Amazon Video, that scene starts 25 minutes and 47 seconds into the episode.)

A few new episodes from tv shows are scheduled to start this month that I plan to at least fast forward through. I may find another quote from them. But for now, I will keep using that ‘Elementary’ quote.

It is now 12: 03 PM EST for me. I know that I just started publishing for this list, but it took me too long to find this music video. I thought of 2 possible music videos, but then I changed my mind. I just finally found one recently, but now I have to order food. So, once I’m done ordering, I’ll continue.

It’s now 12:42 PM EST for me. I ordered the food, and it should be here soon. The music video that I found and watched for the 1st time earlier today is called ‘Better Off’ by Meggie York. I didn’t find her in wikipedia. I searched for phrase ‘meggie york singer’ in google.com, and here is the quote from google:

Meggie York is an 18-year-old singer & songwriter from Cincinnati, Ohio. She has had the pleasure of performing alongside Why Don’t We, Jake Miller, Spencer Sutherland, Alex Angelo, Ava Max, Logan Henderson and EBEN.

I found the music video ‘Better Off’ in www.youtube.com, from publisher ‘Vevo’. I clicked that, and eventually found that music video from category ‘Pop-Teen!’ There are 230 videos in that category, and Meggie York’s music video was #84. And here’s a quote from the lyrics:

That’s why I’m better off without you
And all the times you said it wasn’t true
That’s why I’m better off without you (woah)
Now you’re up there in the clouds
And no you ain’t never coming down
And I know that I’m better off without you
I’m better off

I recommend that you watch it as another music video that helps you ‘stop participating’. To watch the music video ‘Better Off’ for free, search for phrase ‘meggie york better off’ in www.youtube.com, and it should be one of the 1st selections offered, with over 16 thousand views. It was published Apr 19, 2019, about 6 months ago. When you watch it, I recommend that you use ‘Theater mode’.

Many personalities:

It is now 1:37 PM EST for me. Before I begin explaining idea ‘Many personalities’, an idea I invented earlier today, here is a scene from episode 2.19 ‘Judgment’ from sci-fi tv show ‘Star Trek: Enterprise(2003)’. The episode is available streaming from Amazon.com, and if you have Amazon Prime, that episode is available without additional payment. The scene starts 29 minutes and 11 seconds into the episode, Captain Archer(Scott Bakula) and Klingon Prosecutor Orak(John Vickery) are talking in a Klingon holding cell. Here is the quote:

Archer: ‘How many cases have you won?’

Orak: ‘Oh, I’m not sure. Over 200. But that was a long time ago, when the Tribunal was a forum for the truth and not a tool for The Warrior Class.’

Archer: ‘There are other Classes?’

Orak: ‘You didn’t believe all Klingons were soldiers?’

Archer: ‘I guess I did.’

Orak: (groans in disbelief) ‘My father was a teacher, my mother a Biologist at the University. They encouraged me to take up the law.’

Keep in mind that, when people in general watch those ‘Star Trek’ episodes and movies, it’s watched to entertain. It’s not real, it’s science fiction. Even when I started watching it, including the movies, most of the time at least, I also believed Klingons were just soldiers. So, to quote again:

Orak: ‘You didn’t believe all Klingons were soldiers?’

Archer: ‘I guess I did.’

Even Archer, a Federation Captain, believed that all Klingons were soldiers!

So, here is the definition of the word ‘personality’ that is used here from www.dictionary.com: ‘the essential character of a person’.

For example, one reason why a person may say ‘It’s a free country’ in reference to living in America is because Americans are all entitled to freedom of religion, freedom of beliefs, etc. For this idea, Americans are able to get jobs, attend schools, without being required to commit to only using a few certain personality traits. An American can choose from various personality traits, and still have a job. One possible problem is that other obligations may be associated with certain personality traits that may conflict with other people, and/or the job/s that person has also obligated to. That may sound a little far-fetched(improbable) to some. That’s why if I typed in a story i just imagined, that may not work for some of you. So, just to give a little credibility to what I typed in, I recommend a scene in episode 6.6 ‘Give Me the Finger’ from crime mystery tv show ‘Elementary(2018)’. Keep in mind that that scene is refurbished for this advice, and tv show ‘Elementary’ is also part comedy. That episode is available streaming from Amazon.com, and it begins 21 minutes and 52 seconds into the episode. General Howard Alvero(Tony Plana) is proving to the others that he did not commit a certain crime. Here is the quote:

General Alvero: ‘I have photos in my phone. They’ll prove I didn’t commit the crime. Now… if I show them to you, you have to promise you won’t share them with my colleagues.

Captain Gregson(Aidan Quinn): ‘I can’t make any promises, General, but if they prove you’re innocent, I’m pretty sure we’re done with you.’

General Alvero: ‘These photos… (sighs) they’re of a sensitive nature. I’d ask Ms. Watson to… step outside.’

Sherlock Holmes(Jonny Lee Miller): ”Ms.’ Watson is a doctor. There’s little she hasn’t seen.’

Anyway, that is just one example I am aware of where a person does not want his colleagues from his current job to be aware of a certain thing that he does in private. He’s not doing anything that is against the law, but such a participation may cause him to lose his job. There are other examples where participating in other situations would simply cause a misunderstanding from other employees, which is why those other participations are not revealed to those other employees.

The concise example I was thinking about, was that people can even have a seemingly conflicting, contradicting personality as it relates to their chosen job, and that can be acceptable to have. For example, tv show and movie celebrities. When people in general meet them in public, their enthusiasms are based on the characters that they portray in their popular tv show and movie participations. That is what they believe the celebrity’s personalities are based on. Now, that may be somewhat true, because of the lifestyles that the celebrities have learned to adapt to. But there is also the possibility that the people have no idea what the celebrity’s personality actually is. The celebrity may have a personality that completely contradicts their character portrayals in their tv shows and movies.

The point I am trying to make is that many of the mild to moderate instigations that you may have experienced in the past, whether at school and/or at work, may discourage you from having a reasonable, practiced belief that people are entitled to have a wide selection of personalities to commit to, even if the personality committed to may seem to conflict and contradict with their school and/or job obligations. I’m just giving you this advice so that you can have a more healthy, more developed expectations as to what type of personality a person may commit to, even when such a personality commitment may seemingly contradict and conflict with their school and/or job related expectations.

It is now 2:52 PM EST for me. Idea ‘Many personalities’ may not seem like much, but I think it’s important enough to type in. I’m going to close this idea now. I will type another idea in next Saturday, ideas ‘Already see’ and ‘Pertain’, so that I can finally explain idea ‘Resist’, unless I think of a better idea. I would have given you 2 ideas, one yesterday, and one today, but instead I corrected that ‘Gratitude deficiency’ idea I created earlier. I may instead give you 1 idea this coming Friday, and 1 idea next Saturday. So, if you are there, I’ll see you then.
