Salutations.
It is now 5:46 PM EST for me. I will explain idea ‘Resist’ tomorrow. What I want to do now is explain idea ‘Accomodate’ before then. I thought of the idea a month or so ago, I think. The music video I selected earlier today, and watched recently for the 1st time is from song ‘You Can’t Stop The Girl’ by Bebe Rexha. Here is a quote from wikipedia.org about the song and music video:
Claire Shaffer of Rolling Stone wrote that the song “spins the story of Maleficent into a classic girl empowerment anthem […] and lets Rexha show off her impressive vocal belt.” Writing fo MTV, Trey Alston stated that “Bebe Rexha has just provided the anthem for power and resilience this winter […]
The “inspirational” music video was directed by Sophie Miller. It features Rexha leading fellow female runners through a city. The video also shows Rexha wandering through a “magical” and “butterfly-filled” forest while sporting a glittering black gown and headpiece.

And here is a quote from the lyrics:
You can’t stop the girl from going
You can’t stop the world from knowing
The truth will set you free, oh
You can’t stop the girl from going
You can’t stop the world from knowing
The truth will set you free, oh
You can’t stop the girl

I found the music video from www.youtube.com, publisher ‘Vevo’, category ‘Specialty Playlists’, sub-category ‘Pop-Teen!’. In sub-category ‘Pop-Teen!’, music video ‘You Can’tStop The Girl’ is #6 from a list of 241. It premiered Oct 15, 2019, and in just 2 weeks, it has over 8 million views! What also impressed me is that is has over 8 thousand comments. To clarify how I used the word ‘impressed’, I don’t like the music video a lot, but watching it wasn’t a bad experience for me. After all, it is a music video for a Disney movie. Here is a quote from one of the comments:
‘ Oh this song was played at the end of maleficient nice ‘

Accomodate:
Before I begin explaining idea ‘Accomodate’, I want to make a quick quote from 2 movies. The 1st quote is from movie ‘Mistress America(2015)’, starring Greta Gerwig as Brooke Cardinas, and Rebecca Henderson as Anna Wheeler. The movie is available streaming from Amazon.com, and according to Amazon Video, that scene starts 29 minutes and 46 seconds into the movie. Here is the quote:
Anna Wheeler: ‘The way you treated me really messed me up for a long time.’
Brooke Cardinas: ‘Everyone is a jerk in high school!’
Anna Wheeler: ‘You made a lot of people feel bad, not just me.’

The 2nd quote is from movie ‘Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps(2010)’, starring Michael Douglas as Gordon Gekko, and Shia LaBeouf as Jake Moore. In that quote, Gekko is talking to Moore. The movie is available streaming as a rental and purchase from Amazon.com, and according to Amazon Video, that scene starts 1 hour, 50 minutes, and 39 seconds into the movie. Here is the quote:
Gordon Gekko: ‘Don’t you act so superior, kid. They took 122,000 hours of my life for a victimless crime. I ate my bitterness every day. And when I got out, who was waiting for me? Nobody. Not even my own daughter.’

I also believe that the reason I am typing in idea ‘Accomodate’ is because of episode 3.17 ‘Kansas’ from sci-fi series ‘Seven Days(2001)’, the character performances of Frank Parker(Jonathan LaPaglia) and Nathan Ramsey(Nick Searcy), specifically, Frank Parker trying to convince the others to ‘accomodate’ him out of that reality, and Nathan Ramsey’s humorous/funny friendship related accomodations to Frank Parker. Of course, refurbish Frank and Nathan’s efforts in relation to advice. You can watch that episode for free in www.youtube.com. Search for phrase ‘seven days kansas’.
All right. So, here is the idea: I believe that grammar school, high school, and college students are accomodated, that many different schools of thought are accomodated to a certain degree. For example, even if your personality regularly presented an apathetic, indifferent, and contradictory attitude concerning education, if such a person attending grammar school, high school, and college, such a person would be accomodated to have an education to some degree, even though such an attitude may seem to go against being a student in the 1st place. I’m using the character Anne Wheeler’s example from the movie ‘Mistress America’ to support my belief. Here is a quote:
Anna Wheeler: ‘You made a lot of people feel bad, not just me.’
I imagined Anna Wheeler needing that accomodation that was allowed for her to use, that accomodation that high school and college students are all given. That allowed her to deal with the adverse experiences created by Brooke. But after she finished college and got a job, Anna Wheeler no longer felt that high school and college accomodation. Sure, she had friends, but she needed more than that. So, she eventually saw a psychiatrist, and after a few months of therapy, she chose to socialize, and that is when she met her future husband.
Idea ‘Accomodate’ basically encourages you just to imagine providing some sort of acccomodation for those who experience job related faltering. Here’s a quote from the movie ‘Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps’:
Gordon Gekko: ‘And when I got out, who was waiting for me? Nobody. Not even my own daughter.’
Of course, not as extreme as getting out of jail, and nobody is waiting for you. That’s just a convenient example, after it’s toned down considerably, of course, of what it feels like to falter in a job related project. For example, if you have a job that involves some project related faltering, then maybe those experiences of faltering can be made more tenable if others offered to provide some sort of partial accomodation. Since this is just imagined, what I do is imagine offering people who falter in a job related context where I work access to a wardrobe drawer, and in that wardrobe drawer is a cloth wrapped around a tube, and that cloth can turn into any suit or dress. Like I said, it’s just imagined.
Here’s a question for the advice: ‘Why would you want us to do that?’ The answer is that I think it’s a good idea to have. You don’t have to use it, but it may be useful to you. I believe that, in many job related situations in America, temporary faltering is involved, and it would be useful if someone who falters in his/her job would get some sort of accomodation from other employees he/she works with. You see, that feeling of faltering is only temporary, which is probably why a lot of people don’t really feel a need for it to be treated. If you are in such a situation, and you are married, then the person you are married to/your spouse may provide some sort of accomodation. But the faltering I am talking about is generalistic. It could happen to anyone, whether you are married or not.

Anyway, I’m closing this idea now. Tomorrow, I will finally explain idea ‘Resist’, so, if you are there, I’ll see you then.
