Wishlist #1201

Salutations.

It is now 11:45 AM EST for me. I’ve looked for a while, and I couldn’t find a new music video that was convenient enough for this blog. So, what I’ll do again is refurbish an older music video for this list. To prep it up in advance, I’ll offer you another reference and a story. I just thought of this less than an hour ago, and I watched the music video I am about to recommend to you for the 1st time today twice.

If memory serves, the reference was from an older episode of the animated tv series ‘The Simpsons’. In that episode, Grandpa Simpson wanted the kids to sing and perform a song that they memorized when they were younger, and they did the song and dance. I’m not even going to bother to find out which episode that was in. I just want to make it more plausible for you to choose to use the music video.

Before I begin the story, to clarify, I’m a non-managerial employee, not a CEO. I just imagined this story. I have no idea if certain details of this story could be true. And here’s the story: In general, I imagined that CEO’s, in order to prep themselves up for certain experiences, they have the option to imagine a certain interaction that involves those experiences. Since they use resources that are oly available to them in a certain context, such uses of imagination are only available to them. So, to be more specific, I imagined asking character Stu Preissler portrayed by celebrity actor Steve Martin from the movie ‘The Big Year(2011)’ to help me find a date for a certain fundraiser. I want this attractive, single, and available woman to be able to sing to me in a normal conversation tone of voice lyrics to a certain song from a certain music video. The idea was created using the music video to that song. The event was scheduled to be a few weeks from when I asked him, and he agreed to set up a situation, it looks like a singles bar, and it will have some actresses who would be able to sing those lyrics to me. I would walk into that bar situation, select one of those women, have a conversation and a drink with them, and that woman would eventually sing that song to me, in a conversation context.

In that situation, I don’t believe it is possible for those women to know the lyrics well enough so that they are able to sing it to me. We agreed that, although singing that song is a priority, they don’t have to be able to do it. Sure, they probably memorized that song’s lyrics, but if they can’t sing it in a conversation context, it’s not going to be an issue.

So, a week later, I go to that place wearing a suit, I try to have a conversation with one of the women I like, she agrees to have a drink with me, and eventually, she tells me that, in so many words, she can’t sing the lyrics. That was expected. And so, in so many words, I ask if I can sing the words to her. You see, the point is that, based on how I imagined it, like a CEO, the only person that can achieve certain results that such a person has imagined may be that person that has imagined it. And since I imagined it, I think it’s likely that I’m the only person that can do that. With the lady’s permission, I sing that song to her, in a conversation context, and after I’m done, all the women I choose to sing that song to have the same reaction: they all look happy, and they all want to hug me. I just thought of this now: of course, I recommend that you do the same thing, but refurbished for you to do it. For example, if you are a woman, you imagine singing that song to a man. After all, that person is just going to be a date for a fundraiser.

The music video I chose for this list is from the singer I chose for Wishlist #1194, Anya, who performed in music video ‘These Days’. Here’s a copy from that list:

‘ I found this earlier today, and the 1st time I watched it was earlier today, in www.youtube.com. I clicked publisher ‘Vevo’, and then category ‘DSCVR Pop’. That category has 50 videos, and the music video I chose was #50. The music video is called ‘These Days’ by Anya. I couldn’t find a wikipedia page for Anya, but if you type ‘anya denmark’ in google, you can see that she does have a Facebook page. To watch the music video ‘These Days’ for free, in www.youtube.com, search for phrase ‘anya these days’, and it should be one of the 1st selections offered, with over 18 thousand views. It was published Jan 3, 2019. Here is a quote from azlyrics.com for song ‘These Days’:

I’m coming back to myself, coming back
I’m coming back to myself, coming back

I don’t know for sure, but when I watched the music video ‘These Days’, I am assuming that the music video was filmed in Tokyo, Japan. She reminds me of people learning to appreciate the cultures and beliefs of other countries without needing to know their native languages. If Anya doesn’t know how to speak Japanese, then she is demonstrating to me in her music video that she is appreciating the cultures and beliefs of Japan, even though she does not speak Japanese. I chose music video ‘These Days’ for you to watch with this advice because I didn’t want to spend too much time searching for a better music video, and because as I was watching it for the 2nd time, I found that making myself notice the details of the music video was enjoyable. Your senses may enjoy the fact that it’s a new music video for you to watch. I recommend that you watch it in Theater mode. ‘

I like Anya’s use of style when she performs in music video ‘These Days’. So, what I did was quickly look at her previous music videos earlier today. And that’s when I found the music video for this list. It’s called ‘Greet Me’ by Anya. According to www.youtube.com, it was published Dec 1, 2014, almost 5 years ago. To watch ‘Greet Me’ for free, search for phrase ‘anya greet me’, in www.youtube.com, and it should be one of the 1st selections offered, with over 370 thousand views. Here is a quote from the lyrics:

Look what I’ve done
Broke all your trust while I’ve been on the run
And I’ll make it better, I’ll make it better
You know I’ll be better
Just give me the credit to
Give me the credit to

So, to clarify, if you choose to use the idea, you’re sitting at a bar scene with a possible date for a fundraiser, and after your possible date agrees, you sing to that person the lyrics to the song ‘Greet Me’ using a conversation tone of voice. After you’re done, that person looks positive, and wants to hug you. I just thought of this seconds ago: women would want to hug you, and the men would say something to you that would be in a positive context. Of course, if you choose to use this idea, you can always change it, since it is your idea.

I’ve only watched the entire music video twice earlier today, but to me it presents a relaxing ambiance that one may imagine existing in many bar situations.

It’s now 12:24 PM EST for me. I’m going to order some food now. I’ll start again later today.

The double standard(as it relates to resource availability):

It is now 1:36 PM EST for me. To be clear, you don’t have to use any of these ideas, including this one. I believe this idea can be useful to you, which is why I am typing it in. So, if you don’t want to use it, then don’t use it. I’ll start by giving you the references for it. [I forgot to mention what the ‘study plan’ is. 1st, I want to explain idea ‘The double standard’. Then, idea ‘Not work’ or it’s called ‘Not effective’. Then, ‘Admit’, ‘Anticipate’, and finally idea ‘Proof’.] The 1st reference is in sci-fi movie ‘Jupiter Ascending(2015)’, starring Mila Kunis as Jupiter Jones, and Vanessa Kirby as Katharine Dunlevy. The movie is available streaming from Amazon.com, and according to Amazon Video, that scene starts 14 minutes and 36 seconds into the movie. Here is the quote:

Katharine: (gasps) ‘Jupiter! Help, please?’

Jupiter: ‘Wow, what’s the occasion?’

Katharine: ‘Austin Davis is taking me to dinner. I think he’s gonna ask me to marry him!’

Jupiter: ‘Do you wanna marry him?’

Katharine: ‘Jupiter, he’s the #8 richest bachelor under 30 in America. He speaks fluent Chinese and German, and he was an alternate on the Olympic Curling Team.’

Jupiter: ‘Solid resume.’

The 2nd reference is in 2 parts from the same episode, episode 2.9 ‘The Lake’ from comedy drama tv show ‘Casual(2016)’. The episode is available streaming from Amazon.com. It stars Tommy Dewey as Alex Cole, Andy Buckley as Paul Schmidt, and Vincent Kartheiser as Jordan Anderson. The 1st part, according to Amazon Video, starts 19 minutes and 42 seconds into the episode. Alex, Paul, and Mr. Anderson, the CEO in this refurbished example, are having a meeting. Here is the quote:

You can find some really good deals too, but beware that not all companies in this market are The Berry viagra on line Company Llc, Phyto Nutraceutical Inc., Jinan Felicity Biotechnology Co., Ltd, and Pharma Nutra USA. Working of tadalafil for sale cheap cialis works by releasing an enzyme named CGMp. Previously viagra soft tablet it was initially thought that baldness was passed down or inherited however there isn’t any definitive proof that this is the case. Several fake online service providers are trying to spoil the image of original medicine manufacturers http://djpaulkom.tv/find-out-where-dj-paul-got-his-latest-tattoo/ order viagra online by offering the satisfactory measure of blood to the penis to maintain the erection.

Paul: ‘This has to stop. Yes, things have happened, things that I’m sure you both regret, but we have a company to run. We have a responsibility to our employees and our users, and I will not sit back and watch as you two try to wrestle for control–‘

Jordan Anderson, CEO: ‘I’ll give you $2.5 million dollars for your ownership stake in Snooger. Cash.’

Paul: (speechless)

The 2nd part starts 22 minutes and 32 seconds into the episode, CEO Jordan Anderson and Alex Cole are talking:

Jordan Anderson: ‘All you had to do was nothing. Sit back and collect a paycheck. You had the American dream and you forced yourself awake.’

Alex Cole: ‘I don’t want your money. You want to run this company? You do it with me in tow.’

Jordan Anderson: ‘Fine. You can hang around, watch me fire your employees. Watch me blackball them in the industry. You know they’ll blame you, the founder. The guy who started it all. Or you can sign. They all get to keep their jobs, and Snooger becomes a line item on a spreadsheet I glance at every other quarter. $65,000. One year’s salary for my personal assistant.’

All right. In the 1st reference from movie ‘Jupiter Ascending’, up until today, I thought Katharine Dunlevy was poor. I think I’m wrong about that, since it looks like Jupiter Jones is there to clean Katharine’s bathroom. Therefore, this interpretation is now refurbished to interpret Katharine Dunlevy as poor. The point is that Katharine accepts the possibility that her boyfriend, Austin Davis, may ask her to marry him. Austin Davis is interpreted as resourceful, based on this quote:

Katharine: ‘Jupiter, he’s the #8 richest bachelor under 30 in America. He speaks fluent Chinese and German, and he was an alternate on the Olympic Curling Team.’

My point is that, according to one of the interpretations of ‘the double standard’ as it relates to resource availability, it is acceptable for men to be very resourceful in American society. Based on Katharine’s awareness of resources that her boyfriend Austin Davis has, she accepts the fact that he has certain resources available to him.

Now, imagine it from the perspective of Austin Davis: even though Katharane is poor, Mr. Davis accepts Katharine for who she is. For example, Katharine is not rich. You see, one interpretation of ‘the double standard’ encourages people to find acceptable American men to be very resourceful, and it also helps such resourceful American men to marry poor women. Of course, we live in a society that encourages kids, both boys and girls, to be successful and resourceful, and this interpretation of ‘the double standard’ makes it easier for American males to have a successful future. For example, when you casually think about the resourcefulness of a male CEO, that may not be a problem for you, since we live in a society that encourages the general public to not be contemplationally bothered by men who are just successful. One obvious example for the kids may be the superhero called Batman. To the kids, you probably find him entertaining to think about, am I right? They have comic books and movies about him, a successful businessman who also runs around fighting crime wearing a bat costume.

The 2nd reference is used to show ‘the double standard’ as it applies to men who are very resourceful interacting with men who are not so resourceful. In the 1st part from an episode of series ‘Casual’, Jordan Anderson, the very resourceful one, offers Paul Schmidt, the not so resourceful man, money for his ownership of Snoogle. Here is the quote:

Jordan Anderson, CEO: ‘I’ll give you $2.5 million dollars for your ownership stake in Snooger. Cash.’

Although not actually stated, based on Paul’s reaction, it is implied that Paul accepted Jordan Anderson’s offer. And in the 2nd part, Jordan Anderson also made an offer to Alex Cole, and it is also implied that Alex Cole accepted Jordan Anderson’s offer, even though it was considerably less than what Jordan Anderson offered Alex Cole’s partner. Here is a quote:

Alex Cole: ‘I don’t want your money. You want to run this company? You do it with me in tow.’

Jordan Anderson: ‘Fine. You can hang around, watch me fire your employees. Watch me blackball them in the industry. You know they’ll blame you, the founder. The guy who started it all. Or you can sign. They all get to keep their jobs, and Snooger becomes a line item on a spreadsheet I glance at every other quarter. $65,000. One year’s salary for my personal assistant.’

The point is that one interpretation of ‘the double standard’ helped both men, Paul Schmidt, and Alex Cole, accept the offer given by a very resourceful man, Jordan Anderson. They probably didn’t even get a lawyer to question the legitimacy of Jordan Anderson’s claim. They may need a lawyer for other reasons, but they don’t need a lawyer for them to accept the resourcefulness of Jordan Anderson. And if you watch both scenes, you may see that evaluating Jordan Anderson as very resourceful makes it easier for those 2 other men to accept his offer.

So, my advice to you is that this one interpretation of ‘the double standard’ can be interpreted as useful to you, to accept that it’s possible for men to be very resourceful in America. That acceptance can allow such resourceful men to be in relationships and marry women who are not as resourceful as they are, even be in a different social class than they are. And it allows men who are not as resourceful to accept certain business decisions that such resourceful men may present to them.

My advice to you is that you keep that interpretation of ‘the double standard’, and you simply add more to your perspective. It is my opinion that this interpretation of ‘the double standard’ is the freebie that they give out in America. If you choose to, you can simply add more to your evaluation perspective. For example, accepting women as being very resourceful, SURE! Just add that to your evaluation perspective.

It is now 3:57 PM EST for me. I’m going to close this list now. I plan to take off from work Monday, Nov 11, Veteran’s Day, but I’m not going to type anything then, since I have other things I want to do. For example, I got some recorded tv programs from the cable tv service that I want to finally watch and mostly delete. Next Saturday, I plan to explain idea ‘Not work’ also called ‘Not effective’, and I may have time to also explain idea ‘Admit’. So, if you are there, I’ll see you then.

Rated PG viewer discretion for movie ‘The Big Year’. PG-13 sci-fi violence and viewer discretion for sci-fi movie ‘Jupiter Ascending’. TV-MA mature themes and viewer discretion for tv series ‘Casual’. Use only refurbished for advice references recommended. Throw away rest of episode, series, and movie.
