Salutations.
It is now 10:45 AM EST for me.
I’ve made a few more new ideas, and I believe they may be very? useful to you, but I want to address a few ‘loose ends’ before I explain those ideas. In other words, I don’t want to turn this blog into a ‘just me’ blog. It is a little like that episode of ‘The Simpsons’ when Homer Simpson gave his wife a gift, a bowling ball, but it already has his name etched on it, meaning that he expects his wife to give the bowling ball back to him. It’s the thought that counts, but I’m just refurbishing that ‘Simpsons’ example. If I were just giving those new ideas to teenagers and adults, I believe the advice should be useful to many of them. But since this is a public blog, kids could be reading it, and I have been doing this for a while already, I believe I should at least try to be more considerate.
So, to start this blog off, here is the music video for it. Earlier today, I found a new music video for you, but the problem with that music video is that you may only want to watch it once. So, what I did was choose a music video I already recommended to you in a previous Wishlist. Since I didn’t remember the name of the woman who sang it, or the name of that song, I used the ‘Search…’ option on the homepage of www.ionicbreeze1.com’s website. I wasn’t able to find it at first with the search words that I used. Eventually, I tried the words ‘synchronized dancing’, and then I found it. The music video was originally recommended by me in Wishlist #1207. Here is the quote:
—
It is called ‘Give A Little’ by Maggie Rogers. I checked wikipedia, and she has a wikipedia page. I found music video ‘Give A Little’ in www.youtube.com, publisher ‘Vevo’, category ‘Specialty Playlists’, and in the last row for ‘Specialty Playlists’, sub-category ‘Indie Pop’. Click ‘VIEW FULL PLAYLIST’, and it’s #89 from 122 videos. According to youtube, it was posted Aug 18, 2018, and has over 3 million views. Here is a quote from the song ‘Give A Little’:
But if you
Give a little, get a little
Maybe we could get to know each other
Give a little, get a little, give a little
And if you
Give a little, get a little
Maybe we could learn to love each other
Give a little, get a little, give a little
—
The best part of the music video ‘Give A Little’ in my opinion is in one of the synchronized dancing moments. It begins 1 minute and 55 seconds into the music video. To me, it looks like Maggie Rogers and the 2 other young women have learned to accept synchronized dancing as a possible part of a music video. It’s like how people learn to accept being in a subway. Like getting into a subway cart, Maggie Rogers and the 2 women ‘get into’ synchronized dancing in the music video.

Just to double check, less than a minute ago from 11:16 AM, I checked wikipedia, and Maggie Rogers is 26 years old. I chose music video ‘Give A Little’ because the music video, music, and the performance of Maggie Rogers in that music video makes my back feel a little better.(I made an appointment with the doctor that gave me the epidurals for my back a while ago to check my back again. I am experiencing some discomfort as I try to get out of bed, or if I am sitting down for a while, the discomfort occurs as I am trying to leave. It’s not pain specifically. It’s like an ache that discourages me from just quickly leaving after being stationary for a while.) Also, when I see Maggie Rogers perform in that music video, she reminds me that I would like to date someone like her, to lead into a possible relationship. Overall, the music video relaxes me. I haven’t watched it for several months. I just thought of it today, since I wanted a music video to recommend to you.

For those of you that actually bought those travel size 30 ml mouth wash vials, from Amazon, they’re about 30 dollars for 144 of those things, I recommended that you use your thumbnail to go under the protective seal to remove it, because if you use your nail to get under that protective seal, the seal may dig into your nail, causing you to bleed and feel pain. There’s a small piece from that protective seal that sticks out, allowing you to remove it. An image is provided in Amazon.com’s website.
Since I am using that product regularly when I am at work, here’s the revised recommendation: Use one of your thumbnails to push that small piece from the protective seal. When that protective seal piece is moved by your thumbnail, you can use one of your hands to remove the seal completely. If you can’t move that piece of the protective seal with your nail, I recommend that you use one of your keys to move it. So far, I chose to use one of my keys twice to move that protective seal piece, since the use of my thumbnail wasn’t able to.

A week ago, I recommended that you use that scene from the movie ‘Quantum of Solace’, that scene where James Bond would enter that opera in Austria, I think it was. The next day, I thought of the possibility that some? kids may have chosen to watch that one scene many times. I didn’t think of that possibility until a day later. And so, I thought of recommending to kids a music video to help balance that experience, to help them feel better because they watched that opera scene many times. The music video that I want to recommend is something I thought of years ago. It was a music video chosen by me to be for an episode of sci-fi tv series ‘Earth: Final Conflict(2000)’. It is episode 3.17 ‘Time Bomb’. Here is a quote from wikipedia about that episode:
Liam and Renee find some cryopods. One opens and a human emerges. The human is a citizen of Rome (2nd century BC).
—
The effectiveness of the recommended music video may require that you watch a few scenes from that episode. You don’t have to watch the whole thing, just a few scenes that illustrate Julianus(Richard McMillan). For example, you can just watch the 2 scenes that I will quote here. That episode is now available streaming from Amazon.com, and no additional payment is required if you have Amazon Prime. Here are the quotes:
21 minutes and 31 seconds into the episode:
Julianus: ‘I am afraid I’ve been impolite. Whom do I have the honor of addressing?’
Renee(Jayne Heitmeyer): ‘Renee Palmer. Liam Kincaid.’
Julianus: ‘I’m Salvius Julianus, citizen of Rome.’
—
When Julianus shook Liam Kincaid’s(Robert Leeshock) hand, a humble sense of music was played by the episode. I recommend, to improve the positive effect the music video should have for you, I recommend that you also imagine shaking that man’s hand. Imagine that you’re actually shaking the hand of a Roman citizen from 2nd century BC. I’m assuming ‘BC’ according to wikipedia means ‘Before Christ’, so 2nd century BC means ‘200 years before the birth of Christ’, so using today’s year, 2020, that would be ‘2020 + 200’, over 2200 years ago Julianus was a citizen of Rome. My understanding of that could be wrong. You can check it if you want to.
—
22 minutes and 57 seconds into the episode:
Renee: ‘It’s only glucose. It’s not much. It’s the only medicine we have.’
Julianus: ‘You have made strides. The last time I revived they were using leeches. You’re… you’re not using leeches.’
Renee: ‘No. When… when was the last time?’
Julianus: ‘1700. Very tumultuous… I’ve been revived 19 times. Once every 100 years. When I revived, I walk the earth for months. Last time I managed a visit to London. Remarkable city and a bit damp in the winter.’
Renee: ‘I was wondering why an ancient Roman spoke English.’
Julianus: ‘Ancient? Yes, I suppose I am. Every time I walked the Earth, I learned the languages of the dominant cultures. This(the language Julianus is using) is the king’s English from William’s court. William III. I’m curious. Who is the king of England now?’
Renee: ‘Hm. Charles. I, ah… I don’t know what number he is. Americans don’t pay much attention unless there’s a scandal.’
Julianus: ‘Americans? So, you won independence?’
Renee: ‘Yes, in 1776.’

And now, the music video I selected to go with Roman citizen Julianus and Liam Kincaid. The music video is ‘Hand on Your Heart’ by singer Kylie Minogue. According to wikipedia, that song was released April 24, 1989, over 30 years ago! Here is a quote from wikipedia about that video:
The video features Minogue dancing in a modern house. She appears wearing a dress with a big heart on it that changes colour between vibrant colours of red, blue and yellow, Minogue travels from room to room, dancing playfully for the camera.
On this version Minogue’s shoes spin on camera and introduce all three of her new outfits of matching colours. Only one “shoe spin” remains on the final version.
—
To watch music video ‘Hand on Your Heart’ for free, search in www.youtube.com the words ‘kylie minogue hand on your heart’, and it should be one of the 1st selections offered. I recommend the selection from publisher PWL. That was published Dec 2, 2016. If you select that, I think the quality of that video is best watched in ‘Theater mode’.
The reason I chose this music video is because there is this statue in the music video that I think represents something from the Roman Empire. It looks like that same statue is displayed several times in the music video. Use that statue with Kylie Minogue’s performance, put it with that ‘Earth: Final Conflict’ episode, and you may have a music video that is ‘made’ to be the music video for a tv show. Watch that music video, as well as imagine shaking the hand of Roman citizen Julianus, and I believe you may feel better.

All right. Here’s an idea I believe may benefit kids to use, so I recommend that they use it. If you(the kids) choose to use it, it involves 2 references: 1)a scene from episode 4.9 ‘Year of Hell: Part II’ from sci-fi tv series ‘Star Trek: Voyager(1997)’, and a scene from fantasy movie ‘Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb(2014)’. The ‘Star Trek: Voyager’ scene is available streaming from Amazon.com without additional payment if you have Amazon Prime, and the ‘Secret of the Tomb’ movie is also available streaming as a rental and purchase. The ‘Year of Hell: Part II’ scene is short. Here is a quote about it from wikipedia:
‘ Captain Janeway makes an alliance with two species known as the Nihydron and the Mawasi to attack the Krenim time ship. ‘
And that actual scene starts 33 minutes and 40 seconds into the episode. Here is the quote:
Captain Janeway(Kate Mulgrew): ‘I’ve forged a coalition with the Nihydron and the Mawasi… ‘
—
The 2nd reference is in the movie ‘Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb(2014)’, when Octavius(Steve Coogan) is sending a message using the ‘apparatus’ on the computer keyboard to send a message. More of the movie is added to that scene for context. That scene starts, according to Amazon Video, 6 minutes and 29 seconds into the video. Here is the quote:
Jedediah(Owen Wilson): ‘Look at that! Doggone it! Did you see that? ‘
Octavius: ‘They’re trying to catch the light.’
Jedediah: ‘I know. But you can’t do it, boys! You can’t catch the light!
Octavius: ‘They don’t know.’
6 minutes and 43 seconds into the movie:
Octavius: ‘I should like to comment. Summon the apparatus.’
Roman soldier: ‘Summon the apparatus!’
—
Anyway, it’s after that Roman soldier said ‘Summon the apparatus!’, that is the scene I recommend that you use, how the apparatus works. The apparatus allows Octavius to more practically press the buttons on a computer keyboard.
So, this story uses in relation to advice both Janeway’s ability to create temporary alliances, and how ‘the apparatus’ works. Recently, I’ve been thinking about this story a lot from time to time, and I think, although I’m not sure, I think I am using it a lot. And here is the story:
Refurbished for advice, in the original story, a woman temporarily found herself in an ‘alternate reality’ where she had to send a memo to management, but she couldn’t just type it in, because the keyboard was gigantically huge, bigger proportionally than that scene in the movie ‘Secret of the Tomb’. There were, however, these spaceships that were available for her to communicate to. Each spaceship had one or more people from her job, but she didn’t know who was in those spaceships. Those spaceships were capable of pressing those buttons, but only one spaceship can press one button of that keyboard repeatedly. Therefore, the woman tried to ‘create a coalition’, so to speak, with many of those spaceships. Eventually, she would tell those spaceships which buttons to press on that big computer keyboard, and that will allow her to make that memo on that huge keyboard, and that memo would be sent to management.
—
Several months ago, when I imagined myself negotiating with those spaceships, I chose to teach them fighting moves I learned for a specific video game. The fighting maneuvers were easily illustrated by my own impression of body moves. From all of the ships that were watching me, only a few of them allowed me to hear them clap their hands in approval, and I only heard a few pairs of hands clapping. I think I could do something better now, but that’s how I started it out. As a comparison, I imagined The Doctor portrayed by Jodie Whittaker doing something similar, but using more actual participants, and in her situation, one? of the ships actually also sent to her to perceive a woman hologram projection to interact with.
Of course, if you are a kid, instead of other employees, you may imagine students being in those spaceships, but you still don’t know which students are specifically in those spaceships.
One of the benefits of imagining this idea is that it allows you to imagine interacting with people from your school/job, but with anonymity. According to www.dictionary.com, ‘anonymous’ means ‘
without any name acknowledged, as that of author, contributor, or the like:’, and the dictionary example is ‘an anonymous letter to the editor; an anonymous donation’. It is my belief that a lot of people may be willing to participate in certain situations with more frequency, if their identities are anonymous. Using this idea may be useful to you logically.
—
It’s now 3:30 PM EST for me. I’m going to close this idea now. Next Saturday, I plan to type in the new ideas I recently invented, ideas that use the ‘Not able’ idea, which means I should also explain idea ‘Not able’ with those ideas. So, if you are there, I’ll see you then.
