Wishlist #1333

7/30/2022

Salutations.

It is now 9:15 AM EST for me.

Here’s what I plan to do. Based on my experience with using idea ‘Self’, I believe that once you start using it, it is like a bottle cork ‘popping’ out of a champagne bottle. It is like, refurbished, what happened in the movie ‘Star Trek: The Motion Picture(1979)’, when it was revealed that the Voyager 6 probe collected a lot of information while traveling back to Earth. The Voyager 6 probe represents how much idea ‘Self’ will continue to upgrade, if you choose to continue to use it over the years. So, before I explain idea ‘Self’, I want to give you one more list, and this is that list. More specifically, if you are a kid that has chosen to use idea ‘Intent of action’, an idea that I introduced to you in Wishlist #1325, published June 4, 2022, I want to add more ideas to that experience, to help you resolve certain issues you may be experiencing with the use of idea ‘Intent of action’, and to intentually prepare you more for the use of idea ‘Self’. I imagined kids having fun using those ‘created by imagination’ pyramids, and if you are a kid that has never done that type of thing before, then this is the idea that is meant to help you with that. So, I’m about to look for yet another music video and trailer, and then hopefully within the hour, I’ll type those 2 in, and then get to those ‘help the kids with using those ‘intent of action pyramids’ ‘ advice. So, hopefully within the hour, I’ll start typing again.

It is now 10:46 AM EST for me.

Before I recommend the music video to you, I have a question related to that music video. This question is not to promote having a pet, it is to promote the use of the music video itself, to watch and use it for this advice, and here is the question: Have you considered having a chameleon as a pet? Here is a quote from wikipedia.org about ‘Chameleon’, category ‘As pets’:

‘ In the U.S. they are so popular, that despite Florida having six invasive chameleon species due to the pet trade, reptile hobbyists in these areas search for chameleons to keep as pets or to breed and sell them, with some selling for up to a thousand dollars. ‘

The music video that I recommend for this advice and watched for the 1st time earlier today is called ‘I Feel Like I’m Blue’ by Léa Sen. Before I continue, I would like to quote a review from beatsperminute.com about the lyrics and music video for ‘I Feel Like I’m Blue’:

“You know when you have a concept or an idea in your head and never really act on it?“, she reflects. “That’s what ‘I Feel Like I’m Blue’ was to me. I felt like I was writing too much about the past or the present (which is already the past) and I got stuck in memories and vanished promises, so I needed to write something about tomorrows. It’s really just a conversation with my future self. “Do you finally get this right? Do you eventually let this go? I know you still feel that way, it’s cool. I don’t expect perfection from you.”

In the Molly Burdett-directed video, Léa Sen encounters a chameleon named Blue. “In the video, Blue the chameleon is an extension of me and we’re going through the motions together. It was also a hint at the challenge of being an immigrant in London and sometimes having to (whether you’re conscious of it or not) change yourself to fit this foreign picture you’re now a part of. Shout out to Blue though, he was a legend on set, so calm and friendly.”

And here is a quote from the lyrics to song ‘I Feel Like I’m Blue’:

I live the same life, as you
I feel like it’s my wish, my dream
I love like someone new

I feel like I’m blue
I feel like I’m blue
I feel like I’m blue
I feel like I’m blue

I found music video ‘I Feel Like I’m Blue’ by searching for word ‘vevo’ in www.youtube.com, and from the selection, selecting publisher ‘Vevo’. I then scrolled down from publisher ‘Vevo’, selected ‘Featured Channels’, and then selected ‘Vevo UK’. I then went to category ‘HIP-HOP + R&B Playlists’ and selected sub-category ‘Latest R&B Tunes Playlist – NEW R&B & SOUL Music Videos 2022 – Vevo PLaylists’, and the description is: New R&B and Soul music videos including SZA, Khalid, Giveon, Miraa May, Summer Walker, H.E.R, and more. Music video ‘I Feel Like I’m Blue’ as of now is #33 out of 107 music videos. To watch music video ‘I Feel Like I’m Blue’ for free, search for phrase ‘i feel like i’m blue’ in www.youtube.com, and it should be one of the 1st selections offered, with over 51 thousand views. It was published April 13, 2022, and it’s publisher is ‘Lea Sen’. Here is a quote from one of the comments:

‘ Chameleons have such a colourful life. ‘

In my opinion, when I watched music video ‘I Feel Like I’m Blue’, sure, I glanced at the review, but I also thought that watching music video ‘I Feel Like I’m Blue’ can allow people to vicariously experience having a chameleon as a pet. The music video gives a very flattering interaction and illustration of a chameleon being a part of a music video illustration. I like the way Léa Sen sings with the chameleon being in her presence. There’s even a scene when you get to see the chameleon change it’s color! Like I said before, I’m not promoting having a chameleon as a pet, but this music video in my opinion does present a very positive encouragement to see a positive co-existence with a chameleon being in another person’s home. In my opinion, it’s entertaining to watch once.

The trailer that I recommend to be watched for this advice and I have watched it once for the 1st time earlier today is called ‘Wedding Season | Official Trailer’. I found it by searching in www.youtube.com for phrase ‘trailers july 2022’, and from the 1st selections offered, I selected ‘New on Netflix | August 2022’. A video clip of the trailer ‘Wedding Season’ started 3 minutes and 42 seconds into that video selection. To watch trailer ‘Wedding Season’ for free, search in www.youtube.com for phrase ‘wedding season’, and it should be one of the 1st selections offered, with over 1.3 million views! It was published July 6, 2022. Here is a quote from one of the comments:

‘ Ever since Crazy Rich Asians came out I’ve been waiting for an all South Asian cast rom-com and this looks like it! Can’t wait to see it ‘

And here is a quote about the plot, also from that link:

‘ Pressured by their parents to find spouses, Asha (Pallavi Sharda) and Ravi (Suraj Sharma) pretend to date in order to survive a summer of weddings— but find themselves falling for each other as they struggle to balance who they are with who their parents want them to be. ‘

Just watching the trailer, not the movie, I think it’s entertaining to see 2 adults pretending to be dating in this context.

It is now 11:55 AM EST for me. I am going to order some UberEats food again. I’ll begin typing again today once I set that up.

It is now 1:21 PM EST for me.

I’m going to start with a quote from episode 3.8 ‘The One Where Kurt Saves Diane’ from lawyer drama tv series ‘The Good Fight(2019)’. The episode is available from streaming service ‘Paramount +’, which is available as an Amazon Channel, and according to Amazon Video, that scene starts 8 minutes and 53 seconds into the episode. Here is the quote:

Lucca Quinn(Cush Jumbo): ‘We rarely have partners bursting in. And most of our day is taken up with paperwork, not court, so… ‘

Adrian Boseman(Delroy Lindo): ‘Lucca, I need you in court. Sorry to interrupt. Uh, I need you on the Staples case. Are you okay with that?’

The original scene that I tried to find, but I didn’t want to continue looking, was when Lucca Quinn was given an assignment, and Adrian Boseman changed her assignment and gave her another one. She said in so many words that she was already committed to the case she was doing, but Adrian Boseman told her that another person would continue with that case.

Even though I’m using the 2nd reference, the 1st reference is to give you an illustration example from the show that still ‘goes in that direction’.

OK, this is just the 1st example. If you’re a kid who used the ‘Intent of action’ idea and/or are still using it, and you are having certain problems using it, this is just the 1st idea. I’m going to make 2 more ideas, and then let’s see what happens, as a recommendation. So, here’s the 1st idea: For the girls, imagine that you’re an employee for a company, and you’re like Lucca Quinn. Let’s say you have been working for that company for 5 years, and they offered you a promotion, and you took it, and like that episode, the 1st one with the illustration, you are working on your 1st assignment, you made commitments to it, and then your boss, Adrian Boseman, all of a sudden gives you another assignment. You say to your boss that you already made commitments to your 1st assignment, but your boss Adrain Boseman says to you that another employee will continue with that assignment.

For the kids that have chosen to use that ‘Intent of action’ idea, of course you’re let’s say 8+ years old, and you’re not an adult yet. So if you want to continue imagining this, that’s up to you. I’m encouraging you to be able to transition from one project to another at a moment’s notice from your imagined boss, even though you made logic commitments to your current project.

For this 1st idea, here’s another illustration example. It is in episode 6.12 ‘Blink of an Eye’ from sci-fi tv series ‘Star Trek: Voyager(2000)’. The episode is also available from Amazon Channel Paramount +, and according to Amazon Video, that scene starts 12 minutes and 48 seconds into that episode. Here is the quote:

Lt. B’Elanna Torres(Roxann Dawson): ‘Well, one thing hasn’t changed. The geological disturbances that Voyager seems to be causing. The probe recorded half a dozen each month. Still no way to tell how severe they are.’

Cmdr. Chakotay(Robert Beltran): ‘Look at the amount of iron being used in that city. That’s ten times what you’d expect to see in a culture at this stage of development.’

Torres: ‘Do you think they’re using it to support their buildings?’

Chakotay: ‘If you lived on a planet that wouldn’t stop shaking, you might be doing the same thing.’

My point is that, if the boss that you imagined ‘all of a sudden’ changed your assignment, that 1st experience is when you will notice how much of yourself logically you have committed to that 1st project. For example, let’s say you used that ‘Intent of action’ idea of yours, and you made at least 1 serious commitment to that job project. All of a sudden, your boss gives you another assignment, another person is now doing that project, so what is to become of your serious logic commitments, which includes any serious commitments you made using that ‘Intent of action’ idea of yours, the one with the imagined created pyramids? That is when you will notice that you are changing your use of logic strategy, to compensate for your boss possibly giving you another assignment, even though you haven’t finished the one you were currently doing, even though you have made ‘serious’ logic commitments with the use of that 1st assignment of yours.

Now, let’s look at the ‘Blink of an Eye’ reference:

Chakotay: ‘If you lived on a planet that wouldn’t stop shaking, you might be doing the same thing.’

The people who lived on that planet learned over time to use more iron in their buildings, to help compensate for the shaking from their planet. The more experience you have with that possible job of yours, the more likely you will create concepts to allow your ideas to continue, or have some sort of diversity, even though from time to time your boss changes your assignment. Since you are still a kid, you may not have considered upgrading your use of idea ‘Intent of action’ for such a possible form of transitioning, but as a recommendation, if you were to think about it, if you choose to think about it, then in my opinion you would understand more of why the people of that planet chose to use a lot of iron in the construction of their buildings, and you would also give more ‘structural integrity’ to the use of idea ‘Intent of action’.

Variety:

It is now 2:29 PM EST for me. The purpose for idea ‘Variety’, also known as ‘Expectation variety perspective’, is to allow you to have more variety added to your expectation perspective. The idea will explain itself as you read it. I’m going to start with a quote from episode 10.11 ‘The Quest: Part 2’ from sci-fi tv series ‘Stargate SG-1(2007)’. The episode, if you didn’t purchase it in advance from Amazon.com, is still available streaming from Netflix’s streaming service, and according to Netflix, that scene starts about 28 minutes and 28 seconds into the episode. Here is the quote:

Merlin(Matthew Walker): ‘And through all these eons, only one thing stayed the same. There is never enough time.’

Here is the recently revised story. I’m going to explain the main characters of this ‘Variety’ story 1st. The 1st one, the main one,is from the movie ‘Carbon Copy(1981)’, Walter Whitney portrayed by celebrity actor George Segal, as he looked from the movie ‘Carbon Copy’. I like his expression of sense of humor from the movie ‘Carbon Copy’, refurbished with inaproprieities removed and for advice.

The 2nd is the man that is working with him in the idea, Dr. McCoy(DeForest Kelley) based on his performance in movie ‘Star Trek: The Motion Picture(1979)’. The movie is available streaming from Amazon.com, or you can also watch it via Paramount + Amazon Video Channel, and according to Amazon Video, that edited for advice scene starts 34 minutes and 46 seconds into the movie. Here is the quote:

Captain Kirk: (talking to Dr. McCoy) ‘I need you. I need you. Badly.’

Kirk offers his right hand to Dr. McCoy, and McCoy chooses to hold it, verifying to Kirk that he is willing to help him. It’s how Dr. McCoy reaction to Kirk’s request that is used to verify why he is used in idea ‘Variety’.

The 3rd character is Delenn(Mira Furlan) from sci-fi tv series ‘Babylon 5(1993+)’. She represents management in the ‘Variety’ idea.

So, here’s the story: management is looking for 2 volunteers from the employees in the company for a new project that they want managed. None of the other employees responded, since everyone already has obligations, except for 2 employees, Walter Whitney and Dr. McCoy. Someone from management, Delenn, explained to both of them that the priority of the project is that all of the employees involved do not follow sports, such as football, baseball, basketball, etc. Walter Whitney said to Delenn that there is a problem with that, since both Walter and Dr. McCoy follow sports avidly. Walter Whitney demonstrated to Delenn by talking ‘sports’ with Dr. McCoy. They both follow sports.

Delenn explains that they will be managing employees that do not follow sports, even though they themselves follow sports.

So, when you extrapolate from that situation, people who manage situations are not necessarily experts at that situation. Both Walter Whitney and Dr. McCoy are managing a situation that they clearly do not qualify to participate in.

I’m going to continue using character Walter Whitney to continue with this story, but with an additional character, Obi-Wan Kenobi(Ewan McGregor) from tv series ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi(2022)’, available streaming from ‘Disney +’. And here’s the story: Walter Whitney works for a big company that has many divisions, many different projects. When he started working for the company, he tried to experience/participate with many of those divisions ‘hands on’/directly. He moved around the company a lot, like a kid in a candy store. However, as he got older, he made more commitments to his job expectations, causing him to be less mobile, no longer able to visit the many divisions of that company like he used to.

One day, he visits a refurbished for advice Obi Wan Kenobi. There are many similarities to the Obi Wan Kenobi from the tv series and the Obi Wan Kenobi that works for the company. For one thing, at that time, Obi Wan’s job was to conduct topographical surveys, and that requires someone to remain ‘on-site’ regularly. It was a place on the Earth that looks just like where Obi Wan was living in in that ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ tv series. In this story, Walter Whitney visits Obi-Wan, and they haven’t seen each other for 5 years. That is because of Walter Whitney’s obligations to the company. That is the reason I gave you that ‘Stargate SG-1’ quote:

Merlin(Matthew Walker): ‘And through all these eons, only one thing stayed the same. There is never enough time.’

And that’s the story for idea ‘Variety’. The meaning/purpose for idea ‘Variety’ is that, if you were in a similar situation like Walter Whitney’s situation, in the beginning, you would explore many aspects of the company, but eventually, your oblgations would cause you to no longer interact with those people like you used to. One day, you may visit an employee, and the last time you talked to that employee was years ago, and that’s because of your obligations. I chose character ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ because of how interesting he is as a ‘Star Wars’ character. Boys would probably imagine learning how to be a jedi, even be trained by Obi-Wan Kenobi himself, and yet if you worked for such a big company, you may find that you no longer have enough time to interact with so many people, even though certain people are very entertaining/interesting to be with.

So, even if you placed a lot of importance in your use of ‘Intent of action’ idea, you may not have enough time to actively use that importance as it associates itself with certain individuals in that possible company you may have a job with. With that imagined experience, you may choose to imagine how your use of idea ‘Intent of action’ looks when associated with people that you may not have enough preferred time to interact with. Something to think about.

It is now 3:37 PM EST for me.

I forgot to mention that, as you move around from division to division, refurbished, it’s going to be like that sci-fi tv series ‘Otherworld(1985)’ starring Jonna Lee as Gina Sterling. I think I was able to watch those episodes from a copy that I got from the internet, and then I threw that copy away. I just looked in www.youtube.com, and it seems to have all 8 episodes available streaming, but I haven’t verified it’s integrity. Anyway, here is a short description from www.imdb.com about it:

‘ Thrown into another dimension, a family must keep ahead of a tyrannical state’s hunters while searching for a way home. ‘

So, when you visit a specific company division, a few of those employees should help you react acceptably?, based on how they do things in that division. That is another example as to how ‘variety’, if you choose to, may be added to your expectation perspective.

It is now 3:43 PM EST for me. Because of the time, I am now closing this list. Next Saturday, I plan to explain idea ‘Not understand address’, and then the following Saturday, I’ll finally explain idea ‘Self’, unless I change my mind. So, if you are there for those Saturdays, I’ll see you then.
