Salutations.
It is now 7:57 AM EST for me.
I purchased yesterday a laptop with a DVD-ROM drive that, in my opinion, is better than the UltraBook that I was using, so therefore I am now using this laptop. I needed the DVD-ROM drive in order to read the ‘Star Trek: The Complete Collection’ DVD-ROM. It’s a collection of 500? older Star Trek comic books that I am using Adobe Acrobat Reader to read. I purchased the laptop from a store that sells and repairs computers. When I was there yesterday to pick up my laptop, it was like a ‘mom and pop’ store, but for computers. Before buying my laptops from such a store, I think I was doing what most people would be doing, ordering it online or buying it from a large department store, and then figuring it out on my own how to use it. That, of course, works, but within the context of your availability. For example, if you are not a computer programmer, or your career focus is not related to computers, then you make due with what you are capable of learning. The salesperson showed me how to use this laptop’s DVD-ROM drive to read the ‘Star Trek’ disc I brought to that salesperson. I was even showed how to transfer the bookmarks from the UltraBook to this laptop. Since I use Google Chrome as my main browser, this is how you use Google Chrome: Go and click the 3 vertical dots on the upper right hand corner, click ‘Settings’, then click ‘Turn on’ in order to sync to Google. If you plan to use a new laptop/computer, do that for the laptop/computer you are going to replace, then go to ‘Help’ on that same category, then click ‘About Google Chrome’ to upgrade the settings you gave it. Now Google Chrome has your bookmarks and other settings in memory. When you get your new laptop/computer, or the one you want to replace it with, then repeat the process, and all of the bookmarks from your previous computer is now transferred to the one you are now using.
On the lower left computer screen, I searched for phrase ‘ram’ to determine what type of computer this is, what it has. It brought me to the ‘About’ screen, device specifications. Here’s a partial quote:
Device name: DESKTOP-484V8Q7
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-7200U CPU @ 2.50GHz 2.70 GHz
Installed RAM: 8.00 GB
System type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
—
I used the search option on the lower left side of the screen to verify how big the hard drive is:
Capacity: 930.09 GB
—
For the screen size, I used the search option again to search for phrase ‘computer’:
System Model: HP Laptop 15-bs0xx
—
I’m assuming that means it’s a 15 inch screen. It’s also a touch screen.

I usually would talk about something that may be useful to you, that can be purchased from Amazon.com. In case you didn’t know, last time I checked, if you purchased something from Amazon.com and you want to return it, instead of mailing it back, you may go to your local UPS store with the return code to get the credit for it. Use your smart phone to get the return code from Amazon.com, or write the return code down to give to the UPS salesperson, so that you can get your Amazon.com credit. There are times when I would purchase something from Amazon, and it’s not what I thought it would be. That way, if you purchased something based on my recommendation, and it’s not what you thought it would be, you can just return it to your local UPS store, and get the credit back from it. You may not even need it’s original packaging when returning it to that UPS store.
Due to the nature of the description of the item I’m recommending, I’m not recommending it as a necessity, but as a personal preference. This is the item:
50 Pack 44 X 30″ Large Disposable Aprons Clear Plastic Aprons Disposable Adults Painting Aprons Disposable Smocks for Adults Painting Cooking Picnic Party Etc
—
You get 50 individually wrapped clear plastic aprons for about $7 dollars with Prime shipping available.
If you go to a casual restaurant to eat lunch near your work area, and you get food on your shirt, then this clear plastic apron should prevent that. According to Amazon.com, I purchased it August 14, 2022, and I haven’t gotten a chance to use it. I eat in a casual restaurant regularly before I go to work, and I would usually get some sort of food related something on my shirt, and although I haven’t used it yet, I believe that this clear plastic apron should prevent such stains to be on my shirt. I re-adjusted the neck opening by using 2 of my fingers to tie a knot on it, the knot is made near the back of my neck.
So, I’m just recommending it as a preference, not something you need to use. When I prepare my laundry to go to the laundromat, I spray those stains using a ‘Spray n Wash’ bottle. I believe that should be available in any supermarket, but Amazon.com also sells that, with a refill option:
SPRAY ‘n WASH 00230EA Stain Remover, Liquid, 22 oz, Trigger Spray Bottle
Spray ‘n Wash Pre-Treat Laundry Stain Remover Refill, 60 fl oz Bottle (Pack of 2)
—
Here is an example of what I mean by ‘personal preference’: if the smell from the food that somehow gets on your shirt bothers you while you are working, then for that reason you may choose to use this clear apron. That’s it. Just a personal preference.

It is now 9:44 AM EST for me. I am going to look for that music video and trailer again. After I recommend that later today, I will reference a few of the comics that may be useful that I found from that ‘Star Trek CD Collection’. I’ll see you again later today.
—
It is now 9:56 AM EST for me.
I forgot to mention that, if you decide to order the 50 clear aprons, when you get it, it looks like a small cube. It’s separated into 2 25 apron bundles, and it’s very condensed. You may be surprised when you see it for the 1st time. Each apron is individually wrapped, and when you wear one of them, it does cover a lot of area. I don’t think you need to tie it around your waist when you eat, but then again I haven’t actually used it yet. I’m going to use it for the 1st time this coming Monday.
—
It is now 11:12 AM EST for me.
I only found the trailer for now. I’m typing now because I’m going to order some takeout food, probably from UberEats. I’ll start typing again soon after I find that music video. Just keeping you ‘up to date’.
—
It is now 12:59 PM EST for me.
I’m letting you know in advance that the music video that I’m recommending is a punk rock music video. I watched it for the 1st time earlier today. I believe that the lyrics and music video content are acceptable to be used for this list, but if you don’t want to watch a punk rock music video, then you don’t have to. I’m just recommending it for this list. You’re not obligated to watch it. After all, it’s just advice to me.
The music video that I watched for the 1st time earlier today and recommend for this advice is called ‘Cage’ by Billy Idol. Here’s a short quote from variety.com about it:
“I’ve been fighting with my demons so long, they’ve become my friends,” sings Billy Idol on “Cage,” the title track of his upcoming four-song EP.
—
And here’s a quote from rockcellarmagazine.com about it:
“Classic is what we were shooting for. It’s loud guitars and live drums yet treated in such a way that it can live alongside music being made today. I asked myself, ‘If Billy was a brand-new artist today, what would he be making?’ And that’s what we shot for. One of the goals Tommy and I had was to help Billy and Steve make songs that would just go crazy live. This time around, we were all thinking, shows are back, the world is opening up again, this is exciting, we want new material that just goes off live. High energy, kickass great rock songs. That’s what we shot for, and I think that’s what we got.”
—
And here is a quote from the lyrics to song ‘Cage’:
Hey!
I’m coming out of my heartless, hopeless rage
I’m coming out of my cell, my broken cage
Whoa oh oh oh, whoa oh oh oh
—
And to be clear, I’m not encouraging anyone to do anything reckless or dangerous. Base d on the lyrics to the song ‘Cage’, I’m not encouraging anyone to ‘punch through the walls’ or ‘kick down a door’.
And based on the wikipedia page about Billy Idol, category ‘Personal life’, since 2003, Billy Idol stated that he had not taken hard drugs since 2003.
—
I don’t intend on watching the music video again(that’s what I do normally), but when I watched the music video ‘Cage’ earlier today, I noticed that Billy Idol was wearing a jacket that restricted mobility while in a cage singing as women are dancing around him. As I watched the music video, I thought that the music video special effects were incredible, and towards the end of that music video, Billy Idol manages to get out of that straitjacket as he is still singing the lyrics to song ‘Cage’.
—
And here is a partial quote from one of the comments:
‘ Here we go again. Another brilliant masterpiece from the BEST VOICE of Eighties Rock (and far beyond). Billy is not an “idol” anymore, Billy is a gigantic LEGEND. And he’s the real deal – the greatest rock singer. That’s it. The video is very mysterious and fascinating, and the song itself is top notch stuff. ‘
—
To watch music video ‘Cage’ for free, search in www.youtube.com for phrase ‘billy idol cage’, and it should be one of the 1st selections offered, with over 126 thousand views. It was published, as of now, 3 days ago by publisher ‘Billy Idol’.
—
I found music video ‘Cage’ by searching for phrase ‘new songs august 2022’ in www.youtube.com. I then selected ‘New Songs Of The Week (August 19th, 2022) | New Music Friday’ by publisher ‘InMusic Official’, which was published 18 hours ago, a collection of music video clips. Music video clip ‘Cage’ starts 27 seconds into that music video clip collection.
—
The movie trailer that I watched for the 1st time earlier today and recommend for this advice is called ‘A Christmas Number One(2021)’ starring Freida Pinto as Meghna Rai. Here is a quote from www.walesonline.co.uk about the movie:
‘ …music manager Meg Rai (Slumdog Millionaire and Guerilla’s Frieda Pinto) moves to London to manage a boyband, Five Together, who are desperate for a Christmas hit after their latest self-written album flopped. ‘
—
I
I found the trailer with the help of one of my ‘watched later’ youtube.com saved lists. Here’s how you can find it: from www.youtube.com, search for phrase ‘movie coverage’, then select publisher ‘Movie Coverage’. Then select category ‘PLAYLISTS’, and from category ‘Created playlists’, select ‘The Best COMEDIES’. Here’s it’s description:
★ The Best COMEDIES
Film Trailers and Movie Clips from the best and latest COMEDY.
—
‘A CHRISTMAS NUMBER 1 Trailer (2021) Freida Pinto’ is #153 out of 895 videos.
In my opinion, it’s flamboyant(strikingly bold or brilliant; showy:) without needing to use bad language and mature/adult images. It looks like a movie you may see in Disney plus, the type that is enjoyable to watch without depending on rated R material to create that effect.

It is now 2:03 PM EST for me. I’m about to reference a few of the ‘Star Trek: The Complete Collection’ comic books that I believe may be useful to you, for example, when making strategy ideas for your experienced instigation woes. I’m going to use the DVD-ROM and Adobe Acrobat reader now.
I had to ‘pop open’ the DVD-ROM, and then put it back in again.
After clicking ‘Start.pdf’ from the menu, on the upper left hand side of the intro screen, I click ‘COMIC BOOKS’. And from that menu, I didn’t use any from ‘Gold Key Whitman Comics’. From ‘WILDSTORM COMICS’, category ‘Star Trek: New Frontier’, ‘Double Time’ one shot. If you choose to read it, it’s like a typical ‘Star Trek’ tv show episode. The comic book has 27 pages. On page 8, for context, it shows that Captain Mackenzie Calhoun was recruited by Captain Picard. Now, the actual scene I am recommending for you to use is on that same page. It has 3 illustrations. Here is the quote for each illustration: 1)’ …with different officers… about odd topics. He chatted with Soleta about speed, trajectory, and gravity… ‘ 2)’ Mark McHenry about navigation… ‘ 3)’ Chief engineer Burgoyne about engineering configurations… ‘
—
The use recommended from those 3 illustrations is that all 3 officers told Captain Mackenzie Calhoun what he wanted to know without automatically implicating him directly to attempt time travel, which was not permitted for what Captain Mackenzie Calhoun had intended to use it for. They just informed him individually, and then left his office. In my opinion, you may find that scene useful.
—
This next reference from WILDSTORM COMICS is based on episode 1.25 ‘The Devil in the Dark’ from sci-fi tv series ‘Star Trek: The Original Series(1967)’. That episode is available to view streaming from Amazon.com. Here is a quote from wikipdia.org about a relevant scene in that episode:
‘ The miners arrive and attempt to attack the creature. Kirk and Spock stop them, explaining that it was only protecting its eggs when it killed humans. Dr. McCoy successfully treats the Horta’s wound using a silicon-based cement normally used for building emergency shelters. The miners fear the prospect of thousands of Horta, but Kirk convinces them that the Horta are peaceful and could collaborate with the miners by tunneling for them.
Kirk, Spock, and McCoy return to the Enterprise, prepare to leave orbit, and learn from Vanderberg that the eggs have hatched and already the new Horta have uncovered rich veins of pergium and other valuable metals. ‘
—
In the comic book that I’m going to quote from WILDSTORM COMICS, it shows you what happens later, a further, more developed collaboration with the Horta and Federation miners. You’ll notice that the Horta have a sentience that allows them to communicate with the Federation miners. When I 1st read the comic book, it was the Horta children that were communicating in English with the Federation miners. I’m assumming that the Federation was able to train the Horta to communicate with them. However, on this disc, the storyline removed the Horta children. Still, I believe it’s useful to see this interaction between Horta and Federation miners.
From WILDSTORM COMICS, it is in category ‘Star Trek Special #1’. It starts showing one of the Horta communicating with a Federation miner on page 8. It shows you one of the Horta with a robotic arm extension communicating in English to a Federation miner.
—
For ‘MALIBU COMICS’, I could not find any comics to reference.
—
For ‘MARVEL COMICS’, I only have one comic book reference. I’ve been thinking about that reference ‘on and off’ for a certain amount of years now, and I still can’t specifically say why it was useful to think about it. The category is ‘Star Trek: Telepathy War’, sub-category ‘Reality’s End Special’. The reference is on page 25, when Spock is talking to one of the Talosians called ‘Keeper’. Here is the quote:
Spock: ‘Curious… You Talosians have long sought a sturdy, servile labor force to reclaim your planet’s surface. Logically, mind-wiped Jem-Hadar would be ideal for that purpose. One could imagine that you manipulated this whole affair, the invasion, the virus — to attain this end result.’
Keeper: ‘Anything can be imagined, Spock. That is the wonder of the mind. Good-bye. We will not communicate again.’
—
And finally, ‘DC COMICS’. For category ‘Star Trek: The Next Generation’, sub-category ‘Monthly issues #1-80’, issue #35, ‘The Dogs Of War!’, 2 references: 1)page 11, when Data is talking to Worf. Here is the quote:
Data: ‘I too would like to free the crew of Q’s control. However, it will not be a simple task. As we have seen with other encounters with Q, it is all but futile to oppose him directly. On the other hand, he usually offers us a way out of the troubles he inflicts on us — an escape route if you will — provided we are clever enough to identify it.’
—
I recommend 2 uses for what Data said to Worf, more specifically:
Data: ‘On the other hand, he usually offers us a way out of the troubles he inflicts on us — an escape route if you will — provided we are clever enough to identify it.’
—
1: Use it as an option, if you choose to, to see if certain instigation experiences left you ‘a way out’, maybe something to mitigate the experience. For example, one may consider that the instigator may have given the experienced instigation he/she caused you to experience some sort of ‘expiration date’, so that the experience would not be so bothersome contemplationally as you get older. Or maybe the instigator made a mistake when he/she caused you to experience it, and wants the possibility to make amends for that experience, hoping that something may do that for you in the future. In a reasonable, acceptable sense, whatever the reason, that ‘Star Trek’ comic book reference may help you figure something out.
2: For the sake of entertainment, I think it’s useful to see Q give Worf something to ‘figure out’ specifically, since based on the ‘Next Generation’ episodes that I have watched, every time Q would talk to Worf, the conversation would involve an insult. In other words, it’s good to see Q finally give some sort of slack to Worf, instead of just repeatingly insulting him.
—
It is now 5:08 PM EST for me. I have 2 more to reference, but it’s already late for me based on my chosen allotted time. I’m going to close this list now. It’s important that I at least gave you 1 reference list for that ‘Star Trek’ CD collection. For example, I watched somewhere in www.youtube.com that they? plan to have new episodes of ‘Star Trek’ run regularly. I’m assuming that means once a week, some sort of new ‘Star Trek’ episode will be on tv and/or streaming for the entire year, continuously, and that means that this ‘Star Trek CD collection’ may be sought out more by some current and future people who are watching those ‘Star Trek’ episodes, since to me there are storylines in those comic books that don’t seem to be repeating elsewhere.
Next week, I will finally explain idea ‘Self’, so that I can have the ability to introduce to you other ideas that I have already invented that use idea ‘Self’, and I belief the use of idea ‘Self’ may improve/give more effectiveness to your use of strategy, unless I change my mind again. So, if you are there next Saturday, I’ll see you then.
