Salutations.

It is now 6:49AM EST for me.

I want to say very quickly that I’ll start typing again around 8:40AM later today, about 2 hours from now.

I changed my mind again. I’m not explaining idea ‘Do something’. Instead, I invented an idea less than a week ago, and I want to give you more of a chance/ability for you to use it, if you choose to do so. Therefore, I will instead give you an idea I invented I think earlier today or yesterday called ‘Resource use’, and with the extra time, I’ll type in a few ‘story ideas’. So, if you are there later today, I’ll see you then.

It is now 8:57AM EST for me.

I want to recommend something from Amazon.com again, but it’s only for people that use public transportation when buying their groceries. When I buy groceries from the supermarket, I use a bus and I carry the food using reusable grocery bags to transport the food.

So, for those people, here’s a question: Do you like drinking ‘zero sugar’ sodas? I drink them all of the time. Search for phrase ‘zero sugar 12 oz’ in Amazon.com, and what do you find? When I did it, I found this:

DR PEPPER ZERO SUGAR – 12 OZ, 12 PK

It’s only about $6 for a 12 oz pack. That’s about only 50 cents per can, and Prime shipping is available! I think that’s a deal. And since I carry my food using a bus, it’s even better that it’s delivered to your home, and Prime shipping is included with the price! It’s convenient for me, since I regularly drink ‘zero sugar’ sodas. So, if you like that situation, I recommend that you buy a few 12 oz packs of ‘DR PEPPER ZERO SUGAR’. I don’t recommend buying a lot of it, but for convenience, I think it’s a bargain. When you do that search, this is what I found:

3K+ bought in past month

That’s an obvious indication that other people are taking advantage of the ‘zero sugar’ soda deal. And, in case you don’t know, I suspect that that number is a ‘local’ number, not a national one. Amazon.com probably partitions it’s calculations locally. So, if the local number is extrapolated from, I’m sure the national number of buying that soda is a lot bigger. I don’t normally look for food deals, but since I drink zero sugar sodas regularly, I bought a few of those myself, just for the sake of convenience.

I’m going to look for that music video and trailer now. Soon after I prepare them, I’ll type them in and recommend for you to watch them. So, if you are there, I’ll see you then.

It is now 10:06AM EST for me.

Not bad. It only took me about an hour to find and prepare them.

1st, let me explain a little the music video I’m recommending. Normally, I would skip country music videos. It’s a preference. I have nothing against them. I have recommended a few of them in the past. I watched this one, and I think I can give it more of a purpose for single men, if they choose to use it that way.

The music video that I watched for the 1st time earlier today and recommend for this advice, refurbished with inapproprieities removed, is called ‘New Truck’ by Dylan Scott. Here is a quote from a review that I found searching in www.google.com for phrase ‘i need a new truck dylan scott music video reviews’, from link todayscountrymagazine.com:

However, on his latest single “New Truck,” Dylan Scott gives us a love song of a different type; a heart broken song about moving on from a break-up and the memories of what used to be by doing it the only way that he knows how – by getting rid of the truck that reminds him of her.

Scott takes this ultra-relatable lyric and wraps it around your broken heart with a catchy, up-tempo vibe that by the final note has you actually feeling pretty good about losing your better half.

And here is a quote from the lyrics:

I was gonna drive it
Till the wheels fell off
Yeah that was before she slammed the door
Said it’s over then got lost

I found it by selecting ‘Top Mixes: Music 2023’ from www.youtube.com, select ‘HOME’, scroll down to ‘Videos’, then select ‘Hits Music 2023 Mix 🎶 Top 40 English Songs 2023 Right Now 🎶 Popular Hits 2023 Playlist’, which was published 21 hours ago. The music video starts about 1 hour, 21 minutes, and 2 seconds into that video collection.

I’m going to go over certain moments of that music video.

To watch music video, search in www.youtube.com for phrase ‘new truck dylan scott’, and it should be one of the 1st selections offered, with 12M views! It was published 2 years ago by publisher Dylan Scott.

When watching the music video, to skip the initial dialogue, and to start watching it, I recommend starting to watch it at 25 seconds in the beginning. That’s when you see the truck leaving the garage.

1 minute and 26 seconds into the music video, while driving his truck, Dylan Scott turns his head, and imagines his woman ex sitting there, smiling at him. That is depicted in the music video by a faded special effects image of her sitting there smiling.

1 minute and 5 seconds, his woman ex image is sitting on the hood of the truck. Don’t emulate what she did, because you could put a dent on the car’s hood.

‘Keep in mind that ‘New Truck’ is a music video, and music videos tend to use special effects in it’s production. 2 minutes and 22 seconds into the music video, Dylan Scott appears to light a match, and using it to cause his truck to explode. Of course, don’t emulate that action. It’s reckless, dangerous, and it may even cause you to get arrested, depending upon how it’s done, I think.

2 minutes and 4 seconds into the music video, Dylan Scott is playing the guitar. It is my belief that America has the 2nd worst divorce rate in the world, last time I checked. Extrapolate from that, and we probably also have a very bad ‘relationship’ rate as well, meaning that there are many relationship break-ups in America. What I did was create a context that relates with Dylan Scott’s song, in the context that there are relationship break-ups in America. And so, I imagined being in Dylan Scott’s band for a moment and playing that guitar in that context, while wearing a Texas appropriate hat for the music video. If you choose to, kids, teenagers, adults, you may imagine in that context to also wear appropriate Texas clothing and play a guitar in that music video as well. You may also choose to imagine other people playing guitar in Dylan Scott’s music video. Maybe they can relate more to the song. Let’s say those people that you know of have actual relationship problems, and that’s the context that you may choose to imagine them playing the guitar in that music video.

The tv show series trailer, refurbished for advice, that I watched for the 1st time earlier today and recommend for this advice is called ‘Goosebumps | Official Trailer’. Here is a quote from wikipedia.org about the series:

Goosebumps is an upcoming American horror comedy television series developed by Rob Letterman and Nicholas Stoller for Disney+ and Hulu. It is based on the book series of the same name by R. L. Stine.

Goosebumps is scheduled to be released on October 13, 2023 on Disney+ and Hulu simultaneously as a part of the “Hallowstream” and “Huluween” streaming blocks, respectively.

Goosebumps will debut on Friday, October 13, 2023 on Disney+ and Hulu. Five episodes from the ten-part series will debut as part of the streamers’ annual “Hallowstream” and “Huluween” celebrations. New episodes will follow every week thereafter until November 17, when the first season concludes.

And here’s the synopsis from wikipedia:

After accidentally releasing supernatural forces, five teenagers must find a way to work together and recapture them, while discovering their parents’ secrets from their teenage years.

If you choose to watch the trailer, you should be able to sense the ‘comedy’ part of it, since it’s made to be a ‘Disney+’ horror comedy tv series. Here is a quote from one of it’s comments from www.youtube.com to clarify:

I am really surprised (and pleasantly so) to see that this show is taking a somewhat more “mature” approach. I love it. I wasn’t really interested, but this trailer has sold me on it on giving it a shot.

I found it by selecting in www.youtube.com publisher ‘Movie Coverage’, select ‘PLAYLISTS’, and in category ‘Created playlists’, select ‘The Best ACTION / THRILLERS’. GOOSEBUMPS Trailer (2023) is #27. I then searched in www.youtube.com phrase ‘goosebumps trailer’, and then selected ‘Goosebumps | Official Trailer | Disney+ and Hulu’. That was published by publisher ‘Disney Plus’ 3 weeks ago, with 804K views.

In my opinion, it is a horror comedy tv series made for ‘Disney Plus’, so I believe it’s made for kids who are allowed to watch it. In my opinion, it’s raising the bar/standards as to what a horror tv show could present to kids. And yes, there are a few scary scenes, since it is also a horror tv series, but it’s also a comedy tv series. In my opinion, it’s interesting to watch both the comedy and the horror coexist in the series.

Resource use:

It is now 11:14AM EST for me.

I’m going to ‘set up’ the illustration reference used for idea ‘Resource use’. It should take only 5 or so minutes. I’ll be right back.

It is now 11:39AM EST for me.

Idea ‘Resource use’ is basically about how knowing about a certain person involved, or even knowing anything about a certain person involved, may create a bias as to how you are supposed to use the resources available for a given situation, for example, your job related situation. I’ll start with what I call ‘The Janeway Example’, an illustration example from episode 1.1 ‘Caretaker’ from sci-fi tv series ‘Star Trek: Voyager(1995)’. If you have Amazon Video Channel ‘Paramount Plus’, then I’m using Amazon.com via ‘Paramount Plus’ to make this quote. According to Amazon Video, that scene starts 17 minutes and 51 seconds into the episode:

Tom Paris(Robert Duncan McNeill): ‘Look, I know those guys told you to stay away from me. You know what? You ought to listen to ’em. I’m not exactly a good luck charm.’

Ensign Harry Kim(Garrett Wang): ‘I don’t need anyone to choose my friends for me.’

I’m not a Trekkie, but here’s the explanation: Tom Paris had an accident, and then was caught as one of the Maquis. Captain Janeway vouched for Tom Paris’s character, and got permission to have Tom Paris be one of her crewmembers in Voyager. However, even though Captain Janeway vouched for Tom Paris, I am assuming that at least most of the crew were having a hard time interacting with him. So, even though Ensign Harry Kim said quote:

‘I don’t need anyone to choose my friends for me.’

That was after a conversation with Tom Paris. Before that conversation, even the objective Harry Kim had some trouble interacting with Tom Paris, based on what others have told him about Tom Paris. If you watched the show, later of course, Tom Paris was promoted several times, and was much more accepted by the other crewmembers. I think he later married crewmember B’Elanna Torres. So, the ‘mess’ that Tom Paris was in as a crewmember in Voyager is an example for idea ‘Resource use’, how the other crewmembers had some difficulty interacting with him, based on what they knew about his situation, with the accident and all. Just knowing that somewhat affected how they interacted with the resource use associated with Tom Paris, at least at first.

Here’s another illustration example using a story. I’m going to imagine perceiving from an instigator(man or woman, doesn’t matter) 2 people talking at work, one is being obviously affected by who another person is as it relates to resource use, another is trying to help that person out. Both are women. From the evaluation of the instigator, basically, the idiom phrase ‘the pot calling the kettle black’ sums it up. The instigator believes that both are being adversely affected by that person. The 2nd woman who is also helping the 1st woman is also affected, just not as much as the 1st woman is being affected.

In a manner of speaking, people in general are not psychiatrists, but we still try to persevere with what’s available to us, with what we actually use. So, even though both women have a certain bias with a specific co-worker, affecting how they interact with a certain resource use associated with that co-worker, one still tries to help the other out, the one that is more affected by that co-worker’s identity.

Here’s the definition from link dictionary.cambridge.org that I found searching in www.google.com for phrase ‘the pot calling the kettle black meaning’:

something you say that means people should not criticize someone else for a fault that they have themselves:
Elliott accused me of being selfish. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black!

I obviously changed it’s use a little.

The illustration example that I’m using is from episode 1.7 ‘Chapter 7: In the Name of Honor’ from sci-fi tv series ‘The Book of Boba Fett(2022)’. The episode is available streaming from streaming service ‘Disney+’, and according to that, the scene starts around 11 minutes and 40 seconds into that episode. Here is the quote:

Boba Fett(Temuera Morrison): ‘I don’t negotiate with gutless murderers.’

Cad Bane(Corey Burton): ‘If that’s not the Quacta calling the Stifling slimy.’

I’m assuming the phrase ”If that’s not the Quacta calling the Stifling slimy.’ also translates to ‘If that’s not the pot calling the kettle black’. The point Cad Bane is making, I think, is that Boba Fett was at least recently a bounty hunter like himself.

Because of the time, I’ll try to close it up now. The solution for idea ‘Resource use’ is that, if you are involved in such a situation, try to interact with it as if such a resource use problem does not exist. If that doesn’t work, then at least try to be more objective to it. Look at how Janeway did it! If you feel you are confronting such a situation, contemplationally say ‘Resource use’, and see if you can be more objective about. It may be affecting you as well.

Really quickly, an example that, for certain situations, not all of them, the solution may simply be to not tell people about certain things about other people. Here is a caution example, refurbished with inapproprieities removed. The illustration is in episode 5.11 ‘Comes a Horseman’ from fantasy tv series ‘Highlander(1997)’, the conversation that caused Duncan MacLeod(Adrian Paul) to no longer participate with Adam Pierson, Methos(Peter Wingfield). The episode is available streaming from Amazon.com, and according to Amazon Video, that scene starts about 37 minutes and 6 seconds. Here is the quote:

Methos: ‘When mothers warned their children that the monster would get them, that monster was me. I was the nightmare that kept them awake at night. Is that what you want to hear? The answer is yes. Oh yes.’

Duncan MacLeod: ‘We’re through.’

MacLeod later talks to Joe Dawson(Jim Byrnes) about it in the same episode, refurbished with inapproprieities removed, but I don’t have time to evaluate that now.

How Yesterday’s Enterprise of you:

It is now 12:58PM EST for me.

Idea ‘How Yesterday’s Enterprise of you’ is extrapolated by me from a scene in episode 2.2 ‘Penance’ from sci-fi tv series ‘Star Trek: Picard(2022)’. It is what I call ‘the bottom of the barrel’ idea. Here is the closest definition from www.google.com searching for phrase ‘bottom of the barrel meaning’ that I could find. It’s not an exact match. I’m using link www.collinsdictionary.com:

to use something or do something that is not very good, because you cannot think of anything better to use or do
The game designers were scraping the bottom of the barrel for ideas when they came up with this one.

The quote from ‘Penance’ starts about 2 minutes and 43 seconds into the episode:

Jean-Luc Picard(Patrick Stewart): ‘And where are the crew of the Stargazer?’

Q(John de Lancie): ‘Oh, how quaint. How provincial. How ‘Yesterday’s Enterprise’ of you.’

Refurbished with inapproprieities removed, here is a quote from episode 3.15 ‘Yesterday’s Enterprise’ from sci-fi tv series ‘Star Trek: The Next Generation(1990)’ from Amazon Prime Channel:)

Lieutenant Commander Data(Brent Spiner): ‘The Klingons regard honor above all else. If the crew of the Enterprise-C had ‘lost'(edited) fighting for the survival of a Klingon outpost, it would be considered a meaningful act of honor by the Klingon Empire.’

So, even though you may be experiencing mild to moderate forms of instigation at work, for example, keep in mind that at least you still have a job, and that is given credence. The Klingons, so to speak, acknowledge that.

Going back to what Q said in that ‘Penance’ episode:

Q(John de Lancie): ‘How ‘Yesterday’s Enterprise’ of you.’

Just imagine certain people of your choosing at work, such as certain instigators at work that gave you a puzzling, bewildering, etc. response, imagine them individually saying to you as a portraying Q quote:

Q(certain people at work): ‘How ‘Yesterday’s Enterprise’ of you.’

Imagine interpreting what they individually said in a positive, reasonable context only. Contemplationally say to yourself quote:

You: ‘What did he/she mean by that?’

If the instigators at your work formed an instigation group with management, then consider the likelihood that management, guest speakers, etc. have given them positive evaluations. You can imagine starting with a few of those notions, and then imagine other variations, other reasonable possibilities as to what they mean by saying that.

As an example, just look at that scene in episode 2.2 ‘Penance’, and just have that person say quote:

Q(person at work): ”Yesterday’s Enterprise’ of you.’

For single men, I recommend starting with attractive women that have instigated you. After that, certain men workers that have exhibited certain quirky/odd/confusing actions upon you, normal people, people that irked you. You may imagine a situation that involves that phrase. And then imagine thinking to yourself ‘What does he/she mean by that?’ of course, in reference to positive, reasonable evaluations as to what that means only.

I guess if kids are going to emulate that, do that in a ‘kids’ way. (I’m in a rush.)

Also, I forgot to mention that, when Q said that to Picard, refurbish that scene in a way that Picard does not remember ‘Yesterday’s Enterprise’, but because Q has an over 1000 IQ and has seemingly omnipotent powers, Q remembers something about the reality that Picard has restored. That change makes it easier for you to use, since, even though, according to those people you may imagine, you did ‘something’, you may not be able to verbally explain that specific something, not like how that employee can explain it.

It is now 1:30PM EST for me.

I’m going to close this list now. Next Thursday, I will explain that new idea that I invented, which is the purpose of these ideas in this list to more prepare you for, unless I change my mind again. So, if you are there, I’ll see you then.

To be clear, the ‘zero sugar’ Dr. Pepper 12oz soda drinks was just a recommendation. I only bought I think 3 of those myself. I’m not benefitting financially in any way that I know of for recommending it. I just think that it’s a good deal, since I drink regularly ‘zero sugar’ sodas. In other words, I’m not recommending that you buy a lot of them simply because you’re experiencing some sort of epiphany using this idea. It’s just a recommendation.

And of course, in relation to advice said, you can change any of these ideas in this blog all you want. You can take it apart, keep what you want, throw away what you don’t want, etc. In relation to advice said, if you choose to take it, it’s your idea. In relation to advice said, you can do whatever you want with it. If you want to contemplationally say something else instead of ”What does he/she mean by that?’, then in relation to advice said, then change it. In relation to advice said, it’s your idea.
