Wishlist #1415

11/21/2023

Salutations.

It is now 9:57 AM EST for me.

I finished going to the laundromat and preparing my clothes earlier today, and now I have time to type in this blog. I want to order Chinese food later today, so as soon as I type in the recommended music video and trailer, I’ll stop typing and order Chinese food. It will take some time for the food to get to where I live, maybe about 30 minutes after I order, but instead of typing again, I’ll just watch some Japanese anime from Crunchyroll that I haven’t watched yet, and just wait for the food to be delivered. In case you want to know, I’m going to change the strategy of the order that I eat the food. Normally, I would order some food with the intent that I’ll save some for later. Recently, I noticed that, if I eat the usual foods in the beginning, then I’m not able to eat the other foods. That is because I am full, but I also want to eat those other foods. I’ll end up putting the rest of those foods in the refrigerator, and, to me, it just won’t taste the same, not like when you eat it as soon as you receive it. So, what I’ll do today is change the order of how I eat the Chinese food that I ordered. That way, I’ll finally eat the foods as soon as they are delivered, instead of always eating those foods after they’ve been refrigerated for a while. Maybe my Chinese food eating situation could be useful to you.

Anyway, I’ll look for that music video and trailer to recommend to you. That should take me about an hour and a half the latest before I start typing again. So, if you are there, I’ll see you then.

It is now 11:10 AM EST for me.

Before I begin, I want to say that, when I select these music videos, when I search for them, I don’t actually watch a little of each music video in the selection process. If it has sampling already included, then I would only watch a few seconds of that sampling. If it doesn’t, then I would just use the review bar that allows you to just see a smaller image of the music video. I don’t actually see enough of it to get a certain understanding of it. There are probably better ways of doing it, like being a part of the entertainment industry. That way, you have more to work with. That’s the way I do it, and it’s easy, in my opinion, for others to emulate.

The music video that I watched for the 1st time earlier today and recommend for this advice is called ‘(It Goes Like) Nanana’ by Peggy Gou. I didn’t want to select another acoustics video. I wanted something that has some dancing in it, and that’s what I found. I checked the singer’s age in wikipedia.org:

Born 3 July 1991 (age 32)
Incheon, South Korea

Here’s a quote from wikipedia.org about the song:

In a press release, Gou stated: “There’s a feeling we all know but is hard to describe, that feeling of love, warmth and excitement when you’re surrounded by friends and loved ones and the energy speaks for itself. It’s difficult to put into words but to me it goes ‘nanana!'”

Critical reception
Henry Ivry of Resident Advisor called it “full-on Café del Mar worship” with “vintage rave chords elbow[ing] in over chunky, swung drums and a forlorn synth that has shades of Eurodance”. Although he felt that “the lyrics are a bit silly, they’re catchy” and “there is nothing, in short, subtle about the track, but who cares—this is dance pop down to a science”.

I found it by selecting publisher ‘Current Chart!’ from www.youtube.com, select ‘Videos’, select ‘Top 20 Songs Of The Week – November 2023 – Week 2 (YOUR CHOICE)’, and the video clip, #19 out of 20, starts 26 seconds into that video collection. To watch the music video, search in www.youtube.com for phrase ‘peggy gou’, and it should be one of the 1st selections offered, with 7.9M views! It was published 1 month ago by publisher ‘Peggy Gou’. Here’s a quote from one of the comments:

‘ The groove, the visuals, the whole package – nothing short of AMAZING! ‘

I have one concern about watching the music video. The scene starts 1 minute and 38 seconds into the music video. Someone is shown jumping into a lake. As a warning, just because something looks like you can jump into it, that doesn’t mean you should consider jumping into it. Sure, if it’s like situations that have been tested, like Action Park, situations that are established, then people are actually encouraged to participate. But that scene may give off the wrong impression. Avoid participating in such situations that may harm you. It can be dangerous for you.

That scene reminds me of the music video ‘Soak Up The Sun’ by Sheryl Crow. 2 minutes and 6 seconds into that music video, you start seeing people jumping into a body of water. Like I said, if it’s established to be safe, and of course you know how to do something like that, then people are encouraged to participate.

I recommend that you start watching 12 seconds into the music video.

In my opinion, the music and music video is a ‘feel good’ music video that encourages you to dance.

Here’s a quote from the song “(It Goes Like) Nanana”:

I can’t explain
I got a feeling that I just
I can’t erase
Just a feeling that I won’t
Won’t leave behind
Because it’s something that is on
It’s on my mind
I guess it goes like

The movie trailer that I watched for the 1st time earlier today and recommend for this advice is called ‘DAMSEL | Official Teaser | Netflix’. Here’s a quote from wikipedia.org about the movie:

Damsel is an upcoming American fantasy film directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo and written by Dan Mazeau. The film stars Millie Bobby Brown, Angela Bassett, Robin Wright, Ray Winstone, Nick Robinson, Brooke Carter, and Shohreh Aghdashloo.

Premise
A dutiful damsel agrees to marry a handsome prince, only to discover it was all a trap: the royal family recruited her as a sacrifice to repay an ancient debt. She is then thrown into a cave with a fire-breathing dragon, having to solely rely on her wits and will to survive.

The reason I recommend that you watch the trailer is because it’s a ‘sci-fi’ movie with lots of special effects, not because of it’s plot, and it has a lot(several) celebrities in it. In my opinion, ‘several’ celebrities in any movie is a lot.

To me, when I watched the trailer, I thought that the damsel was portrayed by celebrity Scarlett Johansson, but instead I think she is portrayed by Millie Bobby Brown, according to wikipedia.org. I found it by selecting publisher ‘TrailerSpot’ in www.youtube.com, select ‘Videos’, then select ‘NEW MOVIE TRAILERS 2023 & 2024 (Fantasy) | 4K ULTRA HD’, which was published 4 days ago. ‘Damsel’ starts about 4 minutes and 48 seconds into that trailer collection. I then searched in www.youtube.com for phrase ‘damsel trailer’, and then I selected ‘DAMSEL | Official Teaser | Netflix’, which has 4M views and was published 9 days ago by publisher ‘Netflix’. Here is a quote from one of the comments:

‘ I appreciate Mille’s talent so much. She’s one of the most talented actors of the younger generation. ‘

It is now 11:52 AM EST for me.

I’m going to order Chinese food now. Soon after I receive the order, and after I eat some of the food, I’ll start typing again. If I order soon, let’s say after I order the food arrives in 45 minutes, I should start typing again within an hour and a half. So, let’s say about 12:30 PM EST I’ll start typing again, maybe a little sooner.(I want to eat.) So, if you are there, I’ll see you then. Until then, if you haven’t done so before, I recommend that you watch the music video and trailer, to help prepare you for the advice. Just a recommendation.

Need ask(upgrade):

It is now 1:47 PM EST for me.

To emphasize the value of the recent ideas that I typed in, I decided to give you an impression of the upgrade that I invented for Wishlist #1410, idea ‘Need ask’. I explained idea I think it’s called ‘2nd wind’ in a previous list. At least I talked about it before. Basically, it means that, even though you invented an idea in your head and you actively use it, if you type it in a blog, you experience another epiphany. I call that effect ‘2nd wind’. Here are 2 definitions I’m using for ‘2nd wind’ from www.google.com searching for phrase ‘2nd wind meaning’:

a person’s ability to breathe freely during exercise, after having been out of breath.
“he seemed to falter halfway through the race before finding his second wind”

a new strength or energy to continue something that is an effort.
“she gained a second wind during the campaign and turned the opinion polls around”

I want to type other ideas in, but it’s getting too close to December, when people’s focus in general in my opinion will be directed towards Christmas. So, I’ll type this in, and then I can, in a manner of speaking, type any other idea that I want to, which would be a relief for me.

To access idea ‘Need ask’, go to www.ionicbreeze1.com, and in the ‘Search… ‘ box, type in phrase ‘nikita’ or ‘1410’, and it should present a link to Wishlist #1410, and then select that link.

I’m going to try to explain it based on how I originally created it in my mind. Since I originally upgraded it in my mind, I’ll have to be careful to not just type that in directly, since I only created that upgrade originally for myself. It’s not that I did anything wrong. It’s a normal concern, to take into consideration other people that may be reading publicly typed in forms of advice. I thought about it recently, and there are a few indiscretions that may be misconstrued, making it more difficult for kids, for example, to interpret it. So, I’m going to watch what I type in, and then let’s see what happens:

Here’s the explanation upgrade for idea ‘Need ask’: After the epiphany, the ‘2nd wind’, wore off for me after typing in idea ‘Need ask’ from Wishlist #1410, let’s say that was maybe 3 days for me, I started to experience what I call ‘blowback’. I’m using the meaning for ‘blowback’ from the movie ‘Justice League(2017)’ starring Henry Cavill as Superman, and Ray Fisher as Cyborg. The movie is available streaming on Amazon.com, and according to Amazon Video, that scene starts 1 hour, 41 minutes, and 58 seconds into the movie. Here is the quote:

Superman: ‘Any blowback?’

Cyborg: ‘Big time. But I think we can take it.’

Since I make ideas for people, the way I do it is take into some imagined consideration how they? use it in a standard demographic context that I’ve been practicing for some time now. It’s a long story. Since the advice was originally made for single men, and for everyone else, just extrapolate, since I chose the character Michael Samuelle(Roy Dupuis) from the tv series ‘La Femme Nikita(1997-2001)’, for certain casual uses, the character in my opinion is ‘a bit much’ to begin with, they may not choose to use that character anymore. So, when I sensed that blowback, I contemplationally tried to fix it.

During that attempt, I imagined the character Captain Jack Harkness(John Barrowman) from the sci-fi tv series ‘Torchwood(2006-2011)’ saying like it’s a quote from that tv series at the time, around 2006-2011, the words ‘If you knew, you would never do it.’ Sometime during that moment, and that moment I created the upgrade I think happened in a manner of minutes, I imagined a boy that used that situation explained from idea ‘Need ask’, and he is wearing nice clothes walking on the dance floor, and he did that because he was also in charge of ‘Orientation’, but he was encouraged by adults to do that. You see him walk past adults dancing, reaching a bunch of kids sitting, waiting for him, and he asks one of the girls if she wants to dance with him. It was successful, and adults encouraged that orientation arrangement to work.

I used both ‘If you knew, you would never do it.’ and that boy’s positive orientation efforts to make the upgrade. The reason Captain Jack Harkness said ‘If you knew, you would never do it’ is because, based on the level of understanding that non-managerial employees have, even for legitimate job related projects, if they knew certain details about the projects, the adults who would consider such participations may choose to not participate in such projects. Based on how I was trying to make a resolution, I reasoned to myself that there are certain things that non-managerial employees would need certain explanations in order to continue participating with many job related projects in general. This was not in the original efforts to resolve it, but a while ago, let’s say over a year ago, I imagined an employee having difficulty interacting with a certain participation, and his boss would consistently explain it to him what he is doing. It’s not that he’s doing anything wrong, it’s because he finds it difficult to do what he is doing knowing what he knows about the project. Even with his boss’s verbal help, it is difficult for him to continue participating. It’s not impossible, he’s able to continue, but he’s experiencing difficulty continuing based on what he knows about the project. So, the idea is to participate knowing that there are certain things that, if you know about those things, based on the statement ‘If you knew, you would never do it’, you would not be able to participate, the solution, and since it’s in a context of being a legitimate job, and you’re not doing anything wrong, all you have to do is choose to not know what those certain things are within reason, and that may give you more continuity to do your job.

So, based on that premise, I tried to make that work for the imagined single men who have difficulty being Michael Samuelle. Let’s say a single man was told by his boss to do Michael Samuelle’s job and help a bunch of women for Orientation into the job. That single man is to meet them in that dance place that looks a little like it’s in the music video ‘In Your Eyes’ by Kylie Minogue, and to follow the routine that Michael Samuelle created, to greet those new employee women and give the usual Orientation routine to them. As that man is walking on the dance floor, the song ‘In Your Eyes’ is being played, as he is about to greet them.

The idea is to allow that single man to subscribe to the premise that ‘if you knew, you would never do it’, to also think about that boy from grammar school who successfully provided orientation to a group of school kids, even though it was with the help of adults, and allow himself to subscribe to the reasoning that he just has to choose to not know those notions that would prevent him from doing his job, and there’s nothing wrong with the job that he is doing. That man chose to imagine that he was able to participate in many projects that had certain notions that prevented other people from participation, but since those projects were legitimate, and you did not even need to know those notions to do your job, he chose to not know what those notions are, and that allowed himself to participate in those projects.

If the single man subscribed to those premises, then the new goal is to simply have the ability to do your job, even though the other participants are not going to reciprocate you according to certain expectations that such jobs may involve. For this goal, all you have to do, so to speak, is show up. It’s like sports in school. If the other group of students from the other school doesn’t show up, your team wins by default. As long as you are able to do your job, that’s what matters, even though the others didn’t show up, so to speak.

To make that test work, I took each word/syllable from the phrase ‘Do you want to dance?’ and allowed each word/syllable to represent a moment in that single man’s life that he experienced an ‘unpacking’ situation(definition of ‘Unpacking’ in Wishlist #1414, the previous list), and in a standard demographic context, he would select 5 situations created/presented by women in his past that vexes/bothers him somewhat. Each situation represents one of those words. So, from the phrase ‘Do you want to dance?’, when he would think of the word ‘Do’, he would think of an experience from a woman in his past job experience that bothered him, representing an adverse unpacking experience, and then he would think of the word ‘you’ and that could be from another woman from work that said and/or did something to him, and after thinking about her, he would then think about the 3rd word ‘want’ and it could be a 3rd woman who did something to him that bothered him, and then after that the 4th word ‘to’ and think of the 4th woman that did something to him that bothered him, and finally the 5th word ‘dance’, and the 5th woman that did/said? something to him that bothered him. While this is happening or soon after, the single man imagines extending his hand to one of the women in that orientation group. If that single man is able to imagine, and you don’t even have to imagine seeing one of your hands and arms being extended to her, if you are able to imagine that, even though none of the women are even present during that orientation meeting, that single man still passed the test because he demonstrated that at least he has the ability to do his orientation job, just by asking the question ‘Do you want to dance?’ even though there is no one there to respond to that question, no one from that orientation group.

Since I want this idea to be useful to many different schools of thought, the reasons why that single man is bothered by such experiences with those women are up to him. Maybe only he understands why, maybe the experience bothered him, but he cannot just explain it to other people in general as to why it bothers him. Just think of each woman represented by one of those words, and since you are able to ask the question ‘Do you want to dance?’, even if no one from the orientation group showed up, you passed the test because, imagined, you are still able to do your job. You are still able to ask the question.

I made an illustration example. I only chose one, so just use that same example 5 times, just to give you an idea of how this idea works. Of course, tone it down a lot! It’s not even that exactly, I could do better, but that’s what I used. It’s in the movie ‘Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny(2023)’, starring Phoebe Waller-Bridge as Helena, and Alaa Safi as Rahim. Based on my interpretation of the movie, it looks like Helena jilted Alaa Safi. She promised to marry him, but then left the relationship without informing him. Alaa Safi’s emotions are hurt because of the experience, and he’s expressing his grievance to what Helena did in the movie. The scene starts, according to Amazon Video, about 1 hour, 1 minute, and 25 seconds into the movie. Here is the quote:

Alaa Safi: ‘Is this your new man?’

Indiana Jones(Harrison Ford): ‘No. No, no, no, no.’

Helena: ‘It’s complicated.’

Indiana Jones: ‘What exactly do you owe this guy?’

Helena: ‘Just some bail money and a lifetime of happiness.’

Alaa Safi: ‘I presume you sold the ring.’

Those 5 examples that you may choose to recall are 5 adverse ‘unpacking’ examples. As you are using the idea and some time afterwards, what the idea will do for you by intent is to help you differentiate/discern those adverse 5 unpacking examples with other experienced instigations. The discerning by intent should allow you to recall such experiences more tenably, and that should be proof to you why you feel better from using the idea.

To initiate the idea from now on, contemplationally say the question ‘Do you want to dance?’, and for each word, choose what each woman/experience should be, so that’s 5 experiences from 5 women. If you choose to, you may imagine extending one of your hands to the woman/women?, and that strategy should, by intent, allow you to feel better.

If you choose to continue using it over time, you may also change who those women and experiences are. If you can’t find 5 experiences anymore, maybe just 3 bother you, then address the other 2 as ‘experiences that you are not able to identify at the moment’. It’s up to you. In relation to advice said, you can change it all you want. It’s your idea if you choose to take it.

To reiterate, when you contemplationally say the word ‘do’, you think of an experience from a woman from the job. After that, say the word ‘you’, and think of another woman, another experience. When you complete the question ‘Do you want to dance?’, that means, at least in the beginning?, you have thought of 5 women separately, 5 experiences, and since you were able to ask the question, you passed the test, so to speak. You have the ability, even though it’s imagined.

When you ask that question, you’re not addressing those 5 women in the past. You’re addressing whatever situation in relation to advice said that you choose to associate the use of that idea to. You now have more of an ability to interact with women more, even if it’s just an imagined ability. So, here’s a recommended practice exercise: while sitting in a bus, look at the women who are outside of the bus. If you see a woman that you may want to ask that question to, contemplationally say ‘Do you want to dance?’, and you don’t always have to think about those 5 women that you referenced to say that question, and then that should demonstrate to you that you are at least in imagination able to interact with that woman more.

It is now 3:29 PM EST for me.

I am going to close this list now. Next Tuesday, I will type another idea in, but I don’t know for certain what that idea will be. So, unless I change my mind again, I will type another idea in next Tuesday, 11/28/2023. So, if you are there, I’ll see you then.
