Salutations.
It is now 6:26PM EST for me.
I’m going to recommend purchasing something from Amazon.com, but it’s something that I think I recommended in a past list. It’s in regards to bugs that bite, like mosquitoes. Since it’s April, and it’s going to get warmer, this is what I recommend:
84 Pack Mosquito Patches, Mosquito Stickers for Kids Adult – Natural Ingredients and Up to 24 Hour of Protection
—
It’s only about $7 dollars for a pack of 84. Amazon.com’s link present’s it’s possible use as sticking it on the outside of your clothes. I guess if you’re going out to the park, or for kids when outside, that makes sense. But when you’re at work, I recommend that, if you choose to use it, that you place a few of those stickers somewhere where your clothes would hide it, like somewhere on the inside of it. I use 3 of those blue stickers placed where you can’t see it. I also use bug repellant sprayed on the outside of my ears as I would cover the hole of my ears with one of my fingers, I would spray it on my neck, and around my wrist. I stopped spraying it on my hands because of winter time, but I think I should start spraying my hands soon. I think Off bug repellant is very popular, it’s probably sold in supermarkets, but it’s also sold from Amazon.com:
Off Familycare Insect Repellent Clean Feel 6 Oz (2 Pack)
—
That’s about $20 from Amazon.com.
All of my A&W zero sugar root beers came in:
A&W Zero Sugar Root Beer Soda, 12 fl oz cans (Pack of 12)
—
It’s about only $5 for a pack of 12. I checked Amazon.com, and it still may take a few weeks for it to be delivered to you. It’s going to take me a while to drink all of those ‘zero sugar’sodas. I’m just drinking them at my own pace. No rush. I’m even in the process of drinking one of those sodas now. It still feels like a novelty for me to drink zero sugar root beer.
I ordered food earlier today, so I won’t be hungry as I am typing in this blog today/tomorrow.
I am going to look for a music video and trailer to recommend to you. That should take about an hour and a half to select and prepare. If you are there when I start typing again, then I’ll see you then.
—
It is now 8:08PM EST for me.
The music video that I watched for the 1st time earlier today and recommend for this advice is called ‘Love On’ by Selena Gomez. Here is a short quote from link musicfeeds.com.au about the music video:
‘ Selena has paid attention to every detail in the song, even using French words like ‘steak tartare’ to add a French touch to the music. With its catchy beat, “Love On” shows off Selena’s musical talent in a new way by taking her fans on a dreamy adventure to Paris with her music video. ‘
—
I found the music video by selecting in www.youtube.com publisher ‘Hot Music Charts’, select ‘Videos’, then select ‘Top Songs of the Week | April 12, 2024’, which was published 4 days ago. A clip from music video ‘Love On’ starts about 8 minutes and 37 seconds into that video collection, and is #15.
And here is a quote from the lyrics:
Wait ’til I turn my love on
Wait ’til, wait ’til
Wait ’til I turn my love on
—
Based on the review, ‘ “Love On” shows off Selena’s musical talent in a new way by taking her fans on a dreamy adventure to Paris with her music video. ‘, since her ‘dreamy adventure’ is in Paris, in my opinion, all of those people kissing represents something that happens in Paris a lot. It’s not something that I see happen where I live, people openly and publicly? kissing. It was a little distracting for me to see in a music video, but after watching it a 2nd time, I enjoyed watching it. I tried to watch the other things that were presented in the music video without being distracted by all of those people kissing. For example, about 1 minute and 35 seconds into the music video, there are ballerina dancers, and Selena Gomez is presenting herself to be one of them.
Sure, I believe that many adults kiss in America, but I think that the music video gives the impression that, in France, adults more openly, more publicly kiss.
—
The tv series trailer that I watched for the 1st time and recommend for this advice is called ‘Dark Matter’. Here is a quote from wikipedia.org about it:
‘ Dark Matter is an upcoming American science fiction television series created by Blake Crouch, based on his 2016 novel of the same name. It is set to premiere on Apple TV+ on May 8, 2024, with two episodes.
A physicist in Chicago is warped into an alternate version of his life, leaving him to fight to return to his life to prevent the alternate version of himself from harming his family. ‘
—
And here is a quote from link www.theverge.com:
‘ The first trailer looks appropriately trippy and follows a physicist played by Joel Edgerton who is “abducted into an alternate version of his life.” The show involves him trying to get home while navigating this new multiversal reality, which is powered by a big black box that he invented.
The nine-episode-long show is based on the novel of the same name by Blake Crouch and also stars Jennifer Connelly, Alice Braga, Jimmi Simpson, Dayo Okeniyi, and Oakes Fegley. ‘
—
I found it by selecting link ‘Rapid Trailer’, select ‘Videos’,
—
It is now 9:32PM EST for me.
I had this uncontrollable need to take a nap. I then recently ate something, used the bathroom, and now I’m typing again. I usually don’t need to take a nap, but I felt like I had to. I feel a lot better now, now that I’ve taken a nap and got some food to eat.
As I was saying, I found it by selecting link ‘Rapid Trailer’, select ‘Videos’, and then select ‘BEST NEW MOVIE TRAILERS (2024)’ published 3 days ago. The trailer for ‘Dark Matter’ starts 2 minutes and 25 seconds into that trailer collection. I didn’t watch that trailer. I then searched for phrase ‘dark matter trailer’, and instead watched selection ‘Dark Matter — Official Trailer | Apple TV+’, which has 4.5M views, published 4 days ago, and the publisher is ‘Apple TV’.
I recommend that you watch it as a variation to the tv series ‘Doctor Who’. Here’s the premise: A man also travels with a companion of sorts using a box. According to wikipedia, there are 8 episodes, and I plan to watch it, for the sake of variety when comparing it to the long running sci-fi tv series ‘Doctor Who’.
—
It is now 9:43PM EST for me.
I’m going to recommend that you listen to a song with the intent to acclimate/recharge somewhat, if you choose to, to use the idea I’m about to type in. In my opinion, the idea I’m about to type in, an idea that I just invented this past Sunday, 4/14/2024, yesterday, as I was using the public bus. If you are new to these ideas, you will probably experience an epiphany, but also based on my experience, that feeling won’t last. Maybe for this idea, it will last for only a few days. Don’t make exclusive that feeling for learning itself. For example, if the feeling is gone, then what you learned is gone. People tend to have what I call a ‘build up’, and such ideas treat that ‘build up’, but that positive feeling doesn’t last.
Even though all that happens, I want to also help you acclimate/recharge more. Even though I invented the idea recently myself, I anticipate that you will be more tolerant with certain forms of instigation, but that may take some time. Let’s say there are stages. It happens very quickly, and it may also take several months to achieve a certain context of tolerance. I want to help you achieve that preferred tolerance. And so, here’s a quick illustration example.
So, before using that idea I’m about to type in, I recommend that you use your tv app, headphones, and listen to the song ‘Edge Of A Broken Heart’ by Bon Jovi. Just search for phrase ‘edge of a broken heart bon jovi’, and one selection has publisher ‘Bon Jovi’. It has 266K views, and was published 5 years ago. Don’t listen from the beginning. Start 49 seconds into the song. Here are the lyrics during that time:
Hey Romeo, whatchya doin’ with my girl?
Who are you using now? I turn and walk away
I’m gonna please her
Now you can believe it
I’ll be there to catch her when she falls
—
If you still choose to, listen to the rest of that song. I didn’t listen to the entire song myself, but from what I did listen to, I find it to be reviving, recharging, especially when I am using that idea that I’m going to explain. Watch it using headphones attached to your tv from the youtube tv app.
—
It is now 9:59PM EST for me.
Hopefully, I can explain this idea in 3 hours. The reason why this idea may work for you is because I’m using an illustration reference from a popular sci-fi tv series, ‘Stargate SG-1’, and an illustration reference from a popular movie, ‘Top Gun: Maverick’, and I read from a smartphone news app that they’re making a sequel for that movie. When I watched those references for the 1st time, the idea didn’t just come to me. However, I find it very useful to refurbish certain scenes from these references to substantiate the idea. I believe that explaining those repurposed references will help you use the idea, if you choose to.
1st, I’ll explain the main idea, and if I have time, I’ll explain a few variations for that idea.

Eager compensate:
Here’s the definition of ‘compensate’ I’m using for this advice from www.dictionary.com:
to recompense for something:
They gave him ten dollars to compensate him for his trouble.
—
The illustration example, refurbished for advice, used for the word ‘compensate’ comes from anime tv series episode 1.6 ‘The Devil Climbs the Stairway to School’ from tv series ‘The Devil Is a Part-Timer!(2013)’. In my opinion, I think it took a lot longer to air in America. For example, the last recent episode is just season 2, and that aired Sep 28, 2023, and that was just last year. In my opinion, because of recent anime availability changes, animated episodes are now more available in America.
The episode is available streaming on Crunchyroll. Crunchyroll is also available as an Amazon Video Channel, but I’m using the Crunchyroll service from it’s original site. I don’t see the quote used as subtitles when they speak Japanese, but it was said when dubbed into English, so switch to dubbed English. The scene starts 17 minutes and 52 seconds into the episode:
Emi Yusa: ‘So, it’s across this passageway, huh?’
Sadao Maou: ‘Would you please quit waving that thing around? It’s like you’re compensating for something.’
Emi Yusa: ‘Nice try, bucko, but I don’t take orders from you.’
—
So, the quote for the word ‘compensate’ comes from Sadao Maou:
Sadao Maou: ‘It’s like you’re compensating for something.’
—
To be clear, refurbished for advice of course, that’s where I got the meaning for ‘compensate’, when Sadao Maou said it.
Let’s start with the Stargate SG-1 illustrations. It’s all in one episode. 1st, I’ll give the quotes, and then I’ll explain the quotes as it relates to idea ‘Eager compensate’. The episode is 9.1 ‘Avalon: Part 1’ from sci-fi tv series ‘Stargate SG-1(2005)’. The episode is available streaming from Amazon.com, and according to Amazon Video, the 1st scene starts 9 minutes and 26 seconds into the episode:
Lt. Colonel Cameron Mitchell(Ben Browder): ‘Listen, Jackson, I don’t want you to stay because you owe me one. Unless of course you’re considering it.’
—
11 minutes and 7 seconds:
Mitchell: ‘Listen, maybe it’s a good thing I came by. If this doesn’t work out, before all the space on my team fills… ‘
—
12 minutes and 37 seconds:
Mitchell: ‘What if the world needs saving?’
Lt. Col. Samantha Carter(Amanda Tapping): ‘Well, if the world needs saving, I will be there to do what I can.’
Mitchell: ‘What if the world needs saving because I screwed up because you weren’t here in the first place?’
Samantha Carter:[obviously reacts to what Mitchell said]
Mitchell: ‘How about we pretend I didn’t say that?’
—
You can watch the entire episode with inapproprieities removed in relation to advice. So, here’s the explanation for idea ‘Eager compensate’: An instigator may improperly impose an inappropriate emphasis of eager compensation for you to commit to, to cause you to interact with the adverse effects of the instigation. The solution is to acknowledge to yourself that that sense of eager compensation is not yours. You don’t have to commit to such an emphasis of eager compensation. You may sense it, feel it somewhat, but you don’t have to address it, discuss it, resolve it, use it. Once you are more able to differentiate/discern yourself from it, it’s adverse effects may be mitigated, or even avoided altogether mostly.
I find that certain scenes involving Mitchell(Ben Browder) in that Avalon: Part 1 episode to be very effective in illustrating an eagerness used by Mitchell on the 3 previous SG-1 members. He went to Dr. Daniel Jackson(Michael Shanks) 1st, then Teal’c(Christopher Judge), and then to Samantha Carter(Amanda Tapping). Mitchell expressed eagerness for all 3 to joing SG-1 again as team members, but what Mitchell also did to Samantha Carter was express an eagerness of compensation that caused Samantha Carter to react. Here is the moment:
Mitchell: ‘What if the world needs saving because I screwed up because you weren’t here in the first place?’
Samantha Carter:[obviously reacts to what Mitchell said]
—
Now, we have an illustration reference that we can use for idea ‘Eager compensate’. Let’s see if we can make the idea work on that scene itself. When Mitchell said those words:
Mitchell: ‘What if the world needs saving because I screwed up because you weren’t here in the first place?’
—
Once you are able to differentiate/discern that the experienced eagerness for compensation is not from you, then you can more objectively sense, even feel it, since you are not subscribing to it.
—
It is now 12:20AM EST for me.
I was using Amazon.com’s Amazon Video search, when you move the bar horizontally and it shows you a small screen preview. For the movie ‘Top Gun: Maverick’, it took me a while to find the 2 scenes. The 1st scene starts 38 minutes and 5 seconds into the movie:
Lt. Jake ‘Hangman’ Seresin(Glen Powell): ‘Say, Phoenix, How’s about we tell everybody “Bob” stands for something? Other than Robert, I mean.’
Lt. Natasha ‘Phoenix’ Trace(Monica Barbaro): ‘Don’t take the bait, Bob. Want to know why we call him Hangman?’
Hangman: ‘I got it. “Baby on Board.” ‘ [chuckles]
—
52 minutes and 48 seconds:
Hangman: ‘No offense intended.’
Lt. Robert ‘Bob’ Floyd(Lewis Pullman): ‘Yet somehow you always manage.’
—
So, Hangman said:
Hangman: ‘I got it. “Baby on Board.” ‘ [chuckles]
—
So, the eagerness compensation is not yours, you’re able to sense it, feel it somewhat, but you’re not contemplationally addressing it, not discussing it, not resolving it, not using it.
—
Let’s try a real life example. I’m talking to the adults who have worked in the same job for a few years or more. If you experienced instigation before, did it involve a sense of eagerness expresssion that caused you to react? Try to evaluate the experience as a sense of eagerness compensation that you sense, that you feel somewhat, but you are not using it. Now, you can sense that eagerness compensation, but since it’s not from you, that it’s obviously from the instigator and not from you, you can evaluate it more objectively.
Now, let’s start over. For the next one, when you recall it, contemplationally say ‘Eager compensate’ so that you can sense/feel it somewhat, but not use it.
—
Shock pain: Shock lack:
In the beginning of it’s use, you should experience some epiphany, since you may not have used such a strategy before. In other words, you have some ‘build up’. But based on my experience, that feeling of epiphany won’t last, maybe for this idea it will last only a few days. So, to help you find it useful even after the epiphany is gone, instead of using the words ‘Eager compensate’, try using the words ‘Shock pain’ and ‘Shock lack’. For example, ‘lack’ identifies your use of strategy as ‘not working’, ‘not being effective’. And ‘shock’ tries to identify how the ineffectiveness of your strategy feels to you as you experience such an instigation. As for the use of the word ‘pain’, ‘pain’ identifies discomfort. Obviously, there are many different varieties of discomfort. Before this idea, let’s say an adult experienced obvious forms of eagerness to cause that adult to interact with it’s eager imposed compensation, but now, with this idea, that adult can ‘feel it, but not become it’. However, after only a few days, such a feeling may still cause discomfort, identified by the word ‘pain’. Sure, treat the discomfort, treat the pain, but don’t let the discomfort/pain cause you to commit to it’s associated eager compensation. Allow yourself to differentiate yourself from such feelings.
—
Anyway, as a reminder, listen from your youtube tv app to the song ‘Edge Of A Broken Heart’ by Bon Jovi to help you tolerate/recharge faster, starting about 48 seconds into the song.
—
It is now 12:49AM EST for me.
For the use of this idea, I forgot to recommend that you watch animated tv series ‘Villainess Level 99: I May Be the Hidden Boss but I’m Not the Demon Lord’ available streaming on Crunchyroll. Here is a quote from it’s wiki on www.google.com. The link is ‘akuyaku-reijou-level-99.fandom.com’. Just search for phrase ‘Villainess Level 99 wiki’ from www.google.com to find it:
‘ Yumiella has the mystical Boss aura is stoic with a phlegmatic facial expression, which often leads others to be scared and distance themselves from her. Despite black-haired being seen as a sign of evil in her country, she remains logical and approaches situations with a smart and unusual way of thinking that others may not consider or fear. Problems with mutual social interaction and exchange (e.g. understanding and building relationships). However, she is a resourceful and smart problem-solver, finding creative solutions to the challenges she faces. ‘
—
The reason I’m recommending that you watch that anime is because, throughout most of the 12 episodes, especially the beginning episodes, Yumiella Dolkness causes the other characters to fear her, and yet she is still able to remain in their community, in spite of their many reactions of fear that she would unintentionally? create. Such obvious illustration reactions of fear that, even when experienced, those that express it still allow Yumiella Dolkness to interact with them, I believe will help you have more to work with when using ideas ‘Eager compensate’, ‘Shock pain’, and ‘Shock lack’.
—
It is now 12:57AM EST for me.
Even though I have some extra time, I am going to close this list now. This coming Monday/next Tuesday, I will explain a ‘story idea’ instead of a ‘strategy idea’, unless I change my mind again. I tend to make new ideas before that date arrives. So, if you are there, I’ll see you then.
