Wishlist #1480

12/9/2024

Salutations.

It is now 9:35PM EST for me.

My preferred starting time is 7:00PM EST, but it’s now 9:36PM EST. So, here’s what I’ll do. Personally, there’s a new episode of ‘Dune: Prophecy’ that I want to watch, and some youtube. I want to set-up the laptop I purchased, but I don’t think I’ll have time for that. I’ll start preparing my laundry before midnight, and after I come back from the laundromat and prepare my clothes, I’ll start typing again. That could be around 3:00AM. I’ll go to the supermarket a few hours after that, but those few hours will be guaranteed, free time to type in this blog. So, if you’re going to be there around 3:00AM, a little over 5 hours from now, I’ll see you then.

It is now 10:44AM EST for me.

I did my laundry, my groceries, everything except this list.

I want to start typing around 6:00PM EST later today, about 7 hours from now. I missed the original 7:00PM Monday night, even the 3:00AM earlier today, so now I’m going for the 6:00PM later today, the 3rd appointment. In my opinion, it’s important that I at least try to type at those previous times. 7:00PM EST Monday nights, if I can do that, then I can continue to type in this blog longer. It gives me a realistic time expenditure to continue contributing to this blog. Those other times I don’t want to rely on. It gives me an excuse, but I don’t want to keep doing it.

I want to give advice to the college students who have to stay on campus during winter break, but I don’t have anything to say yet.

I purchased 2 whole chickens and 2 pieces of brisket from the supermarket, and I plan to cook 1 chicken and 1 brisket in the oven during the time I am going to type in this blog/list, maybe around 6:00PM, something for me to look forward to while I am giving you free advice.

To be blunt, I may have disappointed you 2 times, but I did this type of thing before. I will probably start typing again around 6:00PM or later tonight. So, if you are there, I’ll see you then.

About giving advice to the college students, I could say something, but I just don’t have anything relevant, so to speak, to type in.

It is now 10:18PM EST for me.

I’m starting late again. I wanted to start at around 6:00PM, but instead it’s now 10:19PM. I did, however, prepare everything else, except set up the new laptop. This one still works, but it has issues.

I looked at my Amazon.com purchases, and I did purchase this recently that you may find useful. As always, it’s just a recommendation, and you’re not obligated to buy it:

Andis 12750 Cool Care Plus 5-in-1 Clipper Spray, 15.5 oz Can, Blade Care and Treatment, Blue

It’s about $12 with Prime shipping available(Check ‘Other sellers on Amazon’, and Prime shipping is available there when selected). If you use blades, such as hair clippers, when I used it, it seemed like it’s an alcohol-based spray. It cools and disinfects the blades that you use. There are 7 videos available from Amazon.com, and the few that I glanced at, they use the spray on their hair clippers. I’m assuming that you unplug it, make sure it’s turned off 1st, spray the blades, wipe it off, and the blades are cooled and disinfected. If you use portable blades at work and at home, and there’s a possibility that you may get cut by those blades, then I highly recommend that you disinfect those blades with some sort of blade disinfectant, to prevent possible infection from those blades, or at least reduce possible infection. If you weren’t using a blade disinfectant before, then I recommend you use one, such as this one. The disinfectant is dispensed from a can, and it’s convenient to use.

Here’s a quote from one of the reviews:

‘ My clippers stopped cutting my hair so I called my twin who is a hair stylist and she asked me how often do I clean and lube them? I was like, never. I didn’t know you had to. She advised me to get one that disinfects, cleans and lubes and so I got on Amazon and found Andis 12750 Cool Care Plus. To my surprise, when I called my sister to let her know what I had found and purchased, she said it’s the exact same brand and type that she uses. I used it last night and it cleaned my neckline up nicely. 😬 She saved my one year old clippers from being trashed. I would definitely recommend this product. ‘

Since this is a public blog, and kids could be reading this, even if all you have to do is spray the disinfectant on the blades, if it’s dangerous for you to handle blades, then don’t use this product just to clean them. If you don’t know how to handle certain blades, then you may still get injured, even though you are just trying to clean them. If you watch the videos for using this spray, the videos that I glanced at, people were spraying it on their hair trimmers. Maybe your parents use hair trimmers to cut your hair, and, for example, then, in my opinion, it’s a great idea for your parents/guardians to spray the hair trimmers that they use on you! The spray disinfects the blades, making the blades used on you safer. I bought it to be used as a disinfectant. I haven’t used it on my hair trimmer yet.

It is now 11:24PM EST for me.

I finished eating the 2 whole chickens that I cooked in the oven. I ordered them to be delivered from the supermarket, anticipating that I would have to substitute the original chickens for 2 other whole chickens. Based on my experience with food delivery from a supermarket, substitutions will probably occur. They may not have your original order, so you type a possible substitution for that order. Also, you can choose to not have that food substituted. The options are offered on the supermarket’s app. The whole chickens I received as a substitute were noticeably smaller than my original order of whole chickens, which is why I cooked 2 small whole chickens to eat. Also, based on chicken eating preference, I won’t eat all of the chicken available from a cooked chicken anyway. For example, I would remove the gizzard?/guts of the chicken as I prepare it. I don’t cook and eat that part of the chicken.

It is now 11:32PM EST for me.

I’m going to look for the usual music video and trailer now to recommend for this list. That should take about an hour and a half. So, if you are there when I start typing again in an hour and a half, I’ll see you then.

It is now 12:59AM EST for me.

I found and prepared a music video and trailer for you. But before I begin, I want to answer an imagined question that I imagined was given to me by an imagined kid who is new to reading this blog:

Kid: ‘Why do I have to read this stuff?

I’m not obligating you to read ‘this stuff'(no insult intended when I typed in ‘this stuff’. Just explaining). It’s just advice to me. If you have problems with experienced instigation, it is the intent of this blog to offer you advice to help mitigate certain experienced instigations. Here’s another explanation: Assuming you know what ‘in character’ means, an idea I explained in a recent list, if you consider getting a job when you are an adult that involves ‘in character’ interactions, than, in my opinion, and for certain?/many? ‘in character’ participations, you may be taking seriously, interacting with seriously, many things that your boss is introducing to you as part of that ‘in character’ interaction. As a recommendation, if you choose to do it, you can use what is presented to you in this blog as practice for when you may possibly have a job that involves ‘in character’ interactions. Practice now, have something to work with later. Here’s an illustration example, a quote from Wishlist #1474, refurbished for this example:

So, here’s the 1st illustration: The illustration is from episode 5.11 ‘Through a Glass, Darkly’ from sci-fi tv show ‘Andromeda(2005)’. If you have Amazon Prime, the episode is available to watch without additional payment. In that illustration, Captain Dylan Hunt(Kevin Sorbo) is talking to Beka Valentine(Lisa Ryder). The illustration, according to Amazon Video, starts 1 minute and 6 seconds into the episode. Watching that illustration is highly recommended. Here is a quote:

Captain Hunt:-‘We’re going to find a gap in that sensor coverage. Just keep your PMA charged and online.’

Beka:-‘My PMA?’

Captain Hunt:-‘Positive mental attitude.’

Later, as Beka’s spaceship’s shields are being hit, 1 minute and 28 seconds into the episode, Beka says quote:

Beka:-”Positive mental attitude’ my perky mortal ass.’

If you watch that scene, available streaming from Amazon.com, the main characters are very seriously interacting with Captain Hunt’s providing of ‘in character’ interactions. You can just refurbish that scene to imagine ‘in character’ interactions for certain aspects of a job you may take when you are an adult that involves ‘in character’ interactions provided for you by your boss. If you practice now using these ideas, you may have more to work with if you choose to have such a job later when you become older.

It is now 2:10AM EST for me.

I was tired, so I took another nap.

Before I recommend the music video, allow me to prepare you for it. Here’s the imagined scenario: Let’s say in the future there’s going to actually be a universal translator, but it’s always being upgraded. Let’s use ‘Star Trek’ situations for simplicity. Let’s use an illustration from the movie ‘The Marvels(2023)’ starring Brie Larson as Captain Marvel. Here’s a short quote from wikipedia.org about that scene:

‘ The Marvels travel to the water planet Aladna where people communicate in song. ‘

When The Federation 1st encountered the people from the planet Aladna, their universal translator had trouble translating their language. When you watch the music video that I will recommend, just imagine that the universal translator was successful in translating the people from Aladna. It’s a monumental achievement for the use of the universal translator.

The music video that watched for the 1st time recently within a few hours ago for this blog and recommend for this advice is called ‘Dynamite’ by BTS. Here’s a short quote about BTS from wikipedia.org:

‘ BTS, also known as the Bangtan Boys, is a South Korean boy band formed in 2010. ‘

And here’s a quote about the music video from wikipedia.org:

‘ When the video premiered at 12:00 AM EST, it garnered over 3 million peak concurrent viewers, surpassing previous record holder Blackpink’s 1.66 million concurrents for “How You Like That” in June, and setting a new all-time record for the biggest music video premiere on the platform. It became the fastest YouTube video to reach 10 million views, after only 20 minutes of release, and the most viewed YouTube video in the first 24 hours, earning 101.1 million views and setting three new Guinness World Records. The music video is the fastest in YouTube history to cross the 200 million mark, in just four days and twelve hours after release, and the fastest by a music group to surpass 400 million views, doing so on September 26, 35 days after release. ‘

In my opinion, the equivalent feeling that explanation gave me, and I haven’t purchased stock in years, is when a popular IPO(When a private company first sells shares of stock to the public, this process is known as an initial public offering (IPO). In essence, an IPO means that a company’s ownership is transitioning from private ownership to public ownership.) is launched, how people talk about it in several news broadcasts, how quickly it is described as building up.

To relate to the reference ‘universal translator’, here’s a quote from link

dailytrojan.com:

‘ Perhaps most notably, “Dynamite” is BTS’s first song sung entirely in English.

“It wasn’t easy, but when we recorded in English, we could feel a different vibe from our previous songs, so we wanted to show our fans a new side of BTS,” said BTS member Kim Seok-jin. ‘

So, imagined, it’s like The Federation’s universal translator finally created an acceptable translation, and they’re presenting an example of their results as the music video ‘Dynamite’ by BTS, a presentation from the people of Aladna.

Here’s a quote from link www.seventeen.com describing the meaning of the lyrics:

‘ In the intro, Jungkook gives us a glimpse into the song’s chorus. As he goes in to the first verse, Jungkook talks about starting off his day and getting ready to make sure that he’s all set to make it the best ever. “King Kong, kick the drum” references the iconic monster and references how he’s willing to take everything on.

In the song’s chorus, Jungkook and Jimin reference to having such a great time and wanting to make the most of it. The final line, “So I’ma light it up like dynamite,” shows just how far they’re willing to go to have a good time and that they hope other people notice as well.

The last two verses introduce a key change, bringing the song even higher, making it feel like things are finally heightened and the party is finally reaching its peak. The band comes together for the final bits of the song as they continue to have the best night ever.

So, the exhilaration and excitement that I recommend that you use from the music video ‘Dynamite’ is it’s successful, acceptable translation using song and dance for imagined Star Trek’s use of universal translator, also based on the movie ‘The Marvels’.

Here is a quote from the lyrics:

Bring a friend, join the crowd
Whoever wanna come along
Word up, talk the talk, just move like we off the wall
Day or night the sky’s alight
So we dance to the break of dawn
Ladies and gentlemen, I got the medicine, so you should keep ya eyes on the ball, huh

I found the music video by selecting in www.youtube.com publisher Current Chart!, select ‘Videos’, then select link ‘Top 30 Fastest SONGS To 1 Billion Views – UP DECEMBER 2024!’, published 3 days ago. Right in the beginning of that music video collection, the music video ‘Dynamite’ is #30.

To watch the music video, search in www.youtube.com for phrase ‘bts dynamite’, and it should be one of the 1st selections offered, with 1.9B views. It was published 4 years ago by publisher HYBE LABELS.

If you choose to watch the music video, for the context of this advice, I recommend that you start watching it about 49 seconds into the music video, skipping the 1st scene. That way, the momentum is more consistent. That’s just my opinion. You can watch the whole thing, if you want to, for this advice. If you are new to reading this blog, it’s not my intent to offend anyone when I recommend skipping certain scenes when watching a music video. I recommend skipping/not watching certain scenes of a music video regularly. In this case, I just think that if you skip the 1st scene, you’ll get more momentum out of it. Of course, you can watch the entire music video, if you choose to, for this advice. You can do both. More than one truth can exist at the same time.

The movie trailer that I watched for the 1st time earlier today and recommend for this advice is called ‘Star Trek: Section 31’. Here is a quote from wikipedia.org:

‘ Michelle Yeoh as Philippa Georgiou:
The leader of the Terran Empire in the Mirror Universe who has travelled to the Prime Universe and joined Starfleet.[2][3] Yeoh hoped the character would not lose her “edge” as Emperor Georgiou, despite learning lessons about compassion and humanity during her time on Star Trek: Discovery. Georgiou left that series and travelled to a different point in the Star Trek timeline, where she is the owner of the Baraam, a nightclub outside Federation space. Miku Martineau portrays a young Georgiou.

Star Trek: Section 31 is scheduled to be released on the streaming service Paramount+ on January 24, 2025, in the United States and all other countries where the service is available.

In March 2024, Yeoh said she was open to making a sequel if the first film was successful.[9] In October, Osunsanmi said “the door is wide open” for additional Section 31 stories to be told after the film’s release. ‘

I found it by selecting in www.youtube.com publisher Rotten Tomatoes TV, select ‘Videos’, then I scrolled down and found the trailer from that publisher. I then searched in www.youtube.com for phrase ‘star trek section 31 trailer’, and then I selected ‘Star Trek: Section 31 | Official Trailer | Paramount+’. The publisher is Paramount Plus, published 3 days ago, and it has 1.8M views.

It is now 3:25AM EST for me.

Blame:

The next 2 ideas, ‘Blame’ and ‘Effort’ are upgrades for idea ‘Talking statue’ and ‘Identity languages’ introduces in Wishlist #1478, published 11/25/2024, a recent list. In my opinion, if you used the ‘Identity languages’ idea, then you are able to differentiate certain adverse effects of experienced instigations as separate identity languages that you may choose to remove/no longer actively use from your experience interpretations. This is the 1st time I’m explaining these ideas, and I only type in such ideas in this blog. For example, I’m not typing similar ideas in another blog/intranet. I’m only typing such ideas for this blog.

Here’s a definition of idea ‘Blame’ that I’m using for idea ‘Blame’ from www.dictionary.com:

to hold responsible; find fault with; censure:

I’m using an idea that I typed in a previous list. I just found that idea by searching in www.ionicbreeze1.com for word ‘hoosiers’. I then selected Wishlist #1247, published 10/03/2020. Here is the quote:

The basketball court is the same size:

For this next idea, I’m using a scene from the movie ‘Hoosiers(1987)’. I’m going to quote Wishlist #1237, which was made Jul 18, 2020:

o help you understand the example I am about to type in, here is a quote from movie ‘Hoosiers(1986)’, starring Gene Hackman as Coach Norman Dale. The movie is available streaming from Amazon.com, and if have Amazon Prime, no additional payment is required. The scene, according to Amazon Video, starts 1 hour, 34 minutes, and 24 seconds into the movie. Here is the quote:

Coach: ‘Buddy? Hold this under the backboard. What is it?’

Buddy(Brad Long): ‘Fifteen feet.’

Coach: ‘Fifteen feet. Strap, put Ollie on your shoulders. Measure this, from the rim. Buddy? How far?’

‘Ten feet.’

Coach: ‘Ten feet. I think you’ll find this is the exact same measurements as our gym back in Hickory.’

Here is a quote from wikipedia.org about the movie ‘Hoosiers’:

‘ The film is very loosely based on the story of the 1954 Indiana state champions, Milan High School … ‘

My point is that, in 1954, in my opinion, there wasn’t much public sci-fi tv shows and programming out there publicly to help you experience mild to moderate forms of instigation.(Why would there be?) Even those ‘Twilight Zone’ episodes that you may have watched that are in black and white, according to wikipedia, that didn’t start, not until 1959. The ‘Star Trek: The Original Series’ started in 1966, and the 1st James Bond movie, ‘Dr. No.’, came out in 1962. So, to speculate, what Coach Norman Dale said to those basketball players should have worked without being able to be supplemented by certain obvious tv shows and movies. His advice should have been enough.

So, to use refurbished for this advice what Coach Norman Dale did for his basketball players, I recommend that you randomly look at, you don’t have to watch the whole thing, an illustration of the game Qbert. Just search in www.youtube.com for the phrase ‘qbert zeusdaz’, and select ‘Q*BERT (PLAYSTATION – FULL GAME)’. That video clip has over 3 and 1/2 hours of video footage that you can randomly look at. The publisher is called ‘Zeusdaz – The Unemulated Retro Game Channel’. If you choose to randomly watch it, when Qbert jumps on one of those blocks, each block represents choosing a perspective to commit to. It is like Coach Norman Dale telling his basketball players to not use those blocks, but instead use a specific block to commit your perspective to. Here’s a partial quote from the movie ‘Hoosiers’:

Coach: ‘I think you’ll find this is the exact same measurements as our gym back in Hickory.’

In the movie, Coach Norman Dale wanted his basketball players to commit to the basketball court perspective that they are familiar with in Hickory. That’s the perspective he wants them to use primarily.

Let’s say that you already committed to the belief that you do not want to get involved with the issues of certain instigators. However, from time to time, they still try to adversely impose upon you a certain sense of blame that they try to associate to some sort of issue or issues. If you already committed to the belief that you do not want to get involved with such issues, then when the instigator or instigators in question try to impose a blame to be used as bait to interact with such issues, you may choose to sense somewhat that blame, but you don’t have to use it.

If you choose to use ideas ‘Talking statue’, ‘Identity languages’, and ‘The basketball court is the same size’, then you may have the ability to not subscribe to certain adverse emphases coming from certain experiences with imposed upon blame caused by certain instigators that want to use blame as bait to cause you to interact with certain issues that you may have already agreed to yourself to not get involved with. Using those 3 ideas, you may choose to allow your chosen perspective to have priority, and dismiss/not use those out of context, not subscribed to impositions of blame that the instigator wants your senses to commit to.

In my opinion, I think it’s the illustration examples refurbished and explained by me that’s really going to help you understand idea ‘Blame’. However, that could take a long time to type in. So, I’ll explain a few illustration examples for idea ‘Blame’, and then I’ll move on to idea ‘Effort’.

It is now 4:09PM EST for me.

I have been typing in this blog for a certain amount of years now, and I believe that, after a certain amount of time, it is the discretion of the person making the blog to commit to a certain improvement. This is a generalistic belief, and for many situations, a commitment doesn’t have to happen. It’s the discretion of the person typing in that blog that may decide whether or not such improvement should be shown.

I’m just going to recommend 2 illustration examples. Even though both examples have a lot of hype involved, I still believe that they are both concise and brief examples. They are both from the same tv show, ‘The Good Fight’, available streaming from Paramount+. The 1st illustration example, in my opinion, is the harder of the 2 to find, since it involves a group of people intentionally dismissing certain notions that another has presented to them in favor of another perspective. The 2nd illustration example, in my opinion, is very common, something that people may seek from certain tv shows and movies, as a form of entertainment. When you compare the 2 illustration examples, then it is the intent of this advice that you may more effectively use idea ‘Blame’.

The 1st illustration example, the harder of the 2 to find, is in episode 3.7 ‘The One Where Diane and Liz Topple Democracy’ from crime drama tv series ‘The Good Fight(2019)’. You just have to watch that scene. You don’t have to watch more of that episode or that series. If you choose to watch more of that episode for more context, removing the inapproprieities, you can do that for this advice. I don’t remember the details myself, it’s been a while since I watched it, but clearly Roland Blum(Michael Sheen) is verbally expressing a grievance for the other lawyers to recognize, and the other lawyers unanimously illustrate that they choose to no longer interact with such an expression of grievance, and to continue what they were doing. They did not even choose to talk about what Mr. Blum said to them. The illustration, edited, from streaming service Paramount+, starts 38 minutes and 37 seconds into the episode:

Roland Blum: (slapping the glass door to get the attention of the other lawyers) ‘Traitors. Judases. Oh, you have offended? me, and I live. Oh, I rise. Watch for the burning of the ten-horned beast!’

(The other lawyers turn around, a little shaken up, but with the intent to dismiss what Mr. Blum said to them, as they continue what they were doing.)

The 2nd illustration reference represents the exact opposite of the 1st illustration reference. That’s when the instigator Gavin Firth(John Larroquette), even though it’s only for a short moment, the instigator even describes the effect he is creating as he causes them to interact with a certain blame that is obviously causing all of them to react, to get their attention. For the sake of time, I’ll just give you when I recommend for you to watch it, and then quote some of it. And the quotes are edited. The scene is in episode 4.7 ‘The Gang Discovers Who Killed Jeffrey Epstein’ from tv series ‘The Good Fight(2020)’. According to streaming service Paramount+, that scene starts about 44 minutes and 6 seconds into the episode:

Adrian Boseman(Delroy Lindo): ‘And we’re ready. We have the 20 million required.’

Gavin Firth: ‘You mean 80 million.’

44 minutes and 56 seconds:

Diane Lockhart(Christine Baranski): ‘You set me up, just to keep us from leaving.’

Gavin Firth: ‘I’m a jealous boss. I don’t want you to leave. I want to cling close to you, like a vine. Also, I kind of like the look on your face that you were outplayed. The Zen master said that “in every experience there is a lesson.”

There are a few curse words in that scene, used by Gavin Firth and a few of the other lawyers.

So, if you choose to use ideas ‘Talking statue’, ‘Identity languages’, ‘The basketball court is the same size’, and the 2 illustration examples refurbished with inapproprieities removed, when you experience an instigation identified by idea ‘Blame’, and you already decided to not get involved with certain issues from certain instigators, and the blame is not part of your chosen perspective at that time, you may contemplationally say ‘Blame’ to help you maintain your chosen perspective as you feel somewhat a sense of blame induced by an instigator or instigators, and since you already know that you are not involved with certain issues of theirs, you choose to feel it somewhat, but not become it, not use it. Knowing that you are not using it allows you to manage better how to interact with such an experience. For example, older kids to adults know somewhat that what is watched on tv, such as tv shows and movies, are not real, the one’s that are already specified as made for entertainment, and their use of chosen perspective automatically interprets such programming as ‘not real’. Like that, as one example, not all examples.

It is now 4:58AM EST for me.

I am going to close this list now. I am going to continue to try to type the next list this coming Monday night, at around 7:00PM EST, unless I change my mind again. I’ll probably make more story and strategy ideas based on past performance, and then I’ll make my final decision what to type in when that time arrives, unless I change my mind. So, if you are there, I’ll see you then.

I have other things to do, so I don’t have enough free time to explain idea ‘Effort’ today.

Oh, while I was typing in this list, it did help me remember to purchase another wallet calendar. So, in case you need another wallet calendar for next year, then I recommend that you purchase one as well.

This is the one that I’m buying:

2025 Monthly Calendar Badge Card Horizontal (Pack of 5)

I was planning to buy only 2 calendars, but I don’t know how they’ll charge me for shipping. Amazon.com also sells vertical wallet calendars, same style. It’s about $11 with $3.50 shipping, since Prime shipping is not available. According to Amazon.com, it should arrive 8 days before Christmas, assuming if ordered soon.
