You’re always dancing
Down the street
With your suede blue eyes
And every new boy that you meet
He doesn’t know the real surprise

(Here she comes again)
When she’s dancing
‘Neath the starry sky
Ooh, she’ll make you flip
(Here she comes again)
When she’s dancing
‘Neath the starry sky
I kinda like the way she dips

She’s my best friend’s girl
She’s my best friend’s girl
But she used to be mine

(About the 1st 1 minute and 5 seconds of the song ‘My Best Friend’s Girl’ by The Cars used as a greeting.)

It is now 11:05PM EST for me.

To explain the greeting, for those of you who are new at reading this blog and the rest, from several? times in the past, I would change the greeting. It’s not always ‘Salutations’. So, for this list, I would imagine myself singing the song ‘My Best Friend’s Girl’ to you as a greeting. Of course, when presented to you, you can just listen to the 1st 1 minute and 5 seconds of the song ‘My Best Friend’s Girl’ presented to you as a greeting. It’s a change of pace. In relation to advice, you can also change how you listen to it. For example, as I am singing it to you, if you are an adult working for a company/job, you may imagine the back-up singers consisting of men from management from your job. In relation to advice said, it’s up to you. That’s just an example. And since you may not know who I am, in relation to advice, you can just listen to the song as a default.

When I created this greeting, I did so using the tv from the Firestick tv app. I listened to the song ‘My Best Friend’s Girl’ from tv wearing headphones. To do that, search in www.youtube.com for phrase ‘My Best Friend’s Girl’, and it should be one of the 1st selections offered, with 8.1M views. It was published by ‘TheCarsOfficial’ 9 years ago. According to that selection, it’s about 1 minute and 5 seconds before the 2nd chorus begins, and there’s an image of a woman covering her forehead with her right arm.

When I made the idea of using the 1st 1 minute and 5 seconds of the song ‘My Best Friend’s Girl’ as a greeting, I contemplationally thought of an amicable/positive acceptable situation, at least eventually, of me having some sort of mutual break-up with my lady relationship partner, and what happened later was that ‘my best friend’ and her chose to be in a relationship. We interact with each other amicably, and the song mildy portrays that situation. So, I’m presenting a ‘positive, amicable’ situation of such an imagined portrayal for you to think about.

As I was typing in this blog, I also checked wikipedia.org to see how it was presented by those who created it, at least according to wikipedia. Here is a partial quote:

‘ “My Best Friend’s Girl” is a song by American rock band the Cars from their 1978 self-titled debut album on Elektra Records, released on June 6 of that year. Written by Ocasek as a song about something that “probably … happened to a lot of people,” the track found radio success as a demo in 1977.

“My Best Friend’s Girl” was written by Ric Ocasek for the Cars’ self-titled debut album. Ocasek later said the lyrics were not inspired by any personal incident, saying “Nothing in that song happened to me personally. I just figured having a girlfriend stolen was probably something that happened to a lot of people.”

“The song has such a happy, good-time feel; you would think it’s a song about being happy in love when it’s really all about seeing one’s ex-girlfriend with the guy’s best friend.”

In my opinion, how you use any publicly presented song is what you make of it. I like the way the guitar sounds in the beginning of the song, one of the main reasons why I chose that song to be presented as a greeting for this list.

For example, when you visit other people’s website’s (or maybe even other people’s blogs), don’t some of them have some sort of music greeting?

If there’s a music video with that song from ‘The Cars’, I didn’t see it. I’m just using the song from youtube.

It is now 11:34PM EST for me.

I am going to finally explain idea ‘186’ in this list. Before I do that, I want to add to that Stargate: Atlantis episode that I recommended for you to watch in Wishlist #1492, the previous list. Here is a quote:

‘ …and if you want to do more, I recommend watching episode 5.19 ‘Vegas’ from sci-fi tv series ‘Stargate: Atlantis(2008)’. That episode is also available streaming from Amazon.com. Sure, take all of the inappropriate scenes out and watch the rest of that episode. Here is a partial quote from Amazon.com about that episode:

‘ In an alternate universe, Detective John Sheppard is with the Las Vegas Police Department… ‘

So, if you choose to use it, you have another example of an investigator making customized individual evaluations, detective John Sheppard(Joe Flanigan). In a certain context, it’s even presented as a separate episode from the other ‘Stargate: Atlantis’ episodes. ‘

Hands on:

I think that it’s possible that older kids could be repeatedly watching that episode. That could create a ‘1st impression’ of it’s use. Therefore, I want to add to it. I decided to also turn it into an idea called ‘Hands on’:

Here’s a definition of the phrase ‘hands on’ found searching in www.google.com for phrase ‘hands on slang meaning’. I used the link from dictionary.cambridge.org:

‘ Someone with a hands-on way of doing things becomes closely involved in managing and organizing things and in making decisions:
She’s very much a hands-on manager. ‘

Oh, right, um, I wasn’t able to find anything to recommend from Amazon.com. I forgot to mention that.

So, if you watched episode 5.19 ‘Vegas’ from sci-fi tv series ‘Stargate: Atlantis(2008)’, in my opinion, taking all of the inapproprieities out and just using how Detective John Sheppard(Joe Flanigan) uses his strategy, both before and after Dr. Rodney McKay’s(David Hewlett) invigorating to say the least, conversation with him, if I were to turn it into a candy bar, that candy bar would be called ‘Hands On’, and I would eat that candy bar, with inapproprieities removed and made kosher for eating of course, I would eat that candy bar to get a certain sense of ‘hands on’.

Since older kids and up may use that as a ‘1st impression’ experience, I want to give that experience some more balance. Here’s the imagined situation, and it’s just one example, not all examples: Let’s say that you chose a job, and it presents several ‘hands on’ encouraging situations, but all you have to do is the routine of your job, and all of those ‘hands on’ situations are resolved. You don’t have to interact with them, you just have to do your job, and those ‘hands on’ encouraging situations are resolved.

In another example, yesterday, 3/18/2025, I watched the animated movie ‘Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League’ streaming from Amazon.com. Refurbishing it’s plot, let’s say that, instead of doing all of those ‘hands on’ interactions, including the fighting, all he had to do was go right to the presented problem and resolve it. In the animated movie, the solution wasn’t that simple, but if it was, he had the option to avoid all of those ‘hands on’ encouraged interactions, solve the problem, and many of those situations would be resolved.

Just imagine a tv show or movie of your choosing, you have a job that allows you to do something routine, and many of those ‘hands on’ situations are resolved just by doing the routine of your job.

In my opinion, that may seem unrealistic, but if you combine it with other situations, then it may be more plausible. For example, only a few ‘hands on’ presented situations are resolved from the routine of your job, and many other things are still there. It’s just part of your chosen job, not the whole thing.

It is now 12:20AM EST for me.

I am going to take a break, and then look for a music video and trailer for idea ‘186’. That should take about 2 hours. So, if you are there when I start typing again, I’ll see you then.

It is now 3:06AM EST for me.

The music video that I watched for the 1st time within a few hours ago and recommend for this advice is called ‘HOT’ by LE SSERAFIM. To address the lyrics 1st, I’ll quote the wikipedia link ‘Hot (Le Sserafim song)’. I found the link by going to the group’s wikipedia link, and then selecting ‘HOT’ from that link. Here’s the quote:

‘ Le Sserafim explained that the title track was “a heartfelt, autobiographical anthem about chasing passion without fear of the outcome.” Kim Chaewon specifically said that “Hot” was about passion and lending your heart to something you love. ‘

I’m using the quote ‘ “Hot” was about passion and lending your heart to something you love. ‘ to interpret the lyrics. For this list, based on that quote, just don’t evaluate any part of the lyrics that may be interpreted as inappropriate when interpreted literally. Here is an English translation quote:

Just like a phoenix soaring across eternal skies
You’re just like a miracle making me dream again tonight
Once again, my embers glow hot, sprouting wings
Now hold me tight

If you choose to watch the music video, focus on the synchronized dancing and choreography. In my opinion, the music video looks entertaining to watch. I think that the song is sung in Korean.

For age verification, I checked www.google.com, and according to link kpopping.com, there are 5 members:

Sakura 27 years old

Kim Chaewon 24 years old

Huh Yunjin 23 years old

Kazuha 21 years old

Hong Eunchae 18 years old

I found the music video by selecting in www.youtube.com publisher ‘InMusic Official’, select ‘Videos’, then select ‘New Songs Of The Week (March 14, 2025) | New Music Friday’ published 4 days ago. A video clip from music video ‘Hot’ starts 2 minutes and 48 seconds into that video clip collection.

To watch the music video, search in www.youtube.com for phrase ‘le sserafim hot’, and it should be one of the 1st selections offered, with 25M views! It was published 5 days ago by publisher ‘HYBE LABELS’.

If you choose to watch the music video, I recommend that you start watching it about 15 seconds into the music video, when the actual lyrics start.

The movie trailer that I watched for the 1st time in a few hours ago and recommend for this advice is called ‘Bonjour Tristesse Trailer #1 (2025)’. I found it by selecting in www.youtube.com publisher ‘Rotten Tomatoes Indie’, select ‘Videos’, and Indie’s trailer was published 18 hours ago. To look for a trailer with more of a view count, search in www.youtube.com for phrase ‘bonjour tristesse trailer’, then select link ‘BONJOUR TRISTESSE Trailer (2025)’. It’s publisher is ‘ONE Media Coverage’, and was published 1 day ago, with 23K views.

Here’s a synopsis quote from wikipedia.org about the movie:

‘ Cécile (McInerny), and her widowed father Raymond (Bang) are spending the summer in the south of France with his latest flame, Elsa (Harzoune). However, the equilibrium is disrupted with the arrival of Anne (Sevigny), who is an old friend of Cécile’s parents. ‘

In my opinion, just based on the trailer, the trailer is like a ‘slice of life’ compared to action/adventure and horror movies. It’s relaxing to watch.

It is now 3:38AM EST for me.

I am going to take a break, and then I’ll start explaining idea ‘186’. After the break, I’ll see you then.

It is now 4:15AM EST for me.

I am going to close this list now. I was supposed to start typing this past Monday, 7:00PM EST time. If I didn’t do that, then this past Tuesday, 7:00PM EST. Instead, I started typing around 11:00PM Tuesday, 4 hours late! If I started earlier, I would have comfortably finished explaining idea ‘186’. What I’ll do is start another list this coming Monday, March 24, at 7:00PM EST. If I don’t at that time, then very likely I’ll explain it this coming Tuesday, March 25 2025 at around 7:00PM EST, unless I change my mind again. Well, at least I explained idea ‘Hands on’ in this list. So, if you are there, I’ll see you then. I hope you liked, and may continue to enjoy, the song ‘My Best Friend’s Girl’.
