Greetings! First, here’s the music video. I watched this video for the 1st time several minutes ago. It is the tv video intro for the tv show called ‘Gidget(1965)’ starring celebrity Sally Field as Gidget. According to www.wikipedia.com concerning color television, in 1965, ‘it was announced that over half of all network prime-time programming would be broadcast in color that autumn.’ So basically, color tv programming started to become a standard in 1965. If you choose to see the music video, you can watch it for free in www.youtube.com. Just go to www.youtube.com and search for phrase ‘gidget intro’. When I did the search, the 2nd selection was ‘Gidget – Opening Titles’ by Ben Devonport. It has over 237 thousand views. The ‘Gidget’ video starts 59 seconds into the selection. The 1st time I watched it, I thought it was a little odd. However, as I watched it for the 2nd time, it felt refreshingly entertaining to watch. I have never watched ‘Gidget’ before, but I like celebrity Sally Field.
Resolve:
I wanted to add another example about ‘Resolve’ because I believe it will help improve how you find these ideas useful. Here is the issue that I imagine existing: Let’s say that parents want to instill upon their children a sense of value that is specific to the value of their chosen lifestyle. Let’s use property and investment value as an example. This value is important to them, but they are concerned that the property and investment values from others outside their chosen lifestyle beliefs may cause their children to make the values taught by their parents have a secondary value, as compared to the values of others. For example, one of their kids declines a job promotion because there are other opportunities that are supposedly ‘better’ than such a promotion.
It is not the intent of the use of this advice to change the school of thoughts of others, more specifically, to change the value system of others. I have invented a story that allows a person’s chosen value system to not need to change. Have you ever heard of the phrase ‘On the company’s dime?’ According to web site
http://english.stackexchange.com/questions/268125/where-does-on-xs-dime-originate-from
quote-‘Phrases like “on the company’s dime”…are used to indicate a form of payment responsibility on the party in question.’
So basically, the story allows the employees in the story to participate without any financial responsibility upon them, allowing the participants to not have their value systems affected. Now, in my opinion, that is the basic solution of the issue in question. Your value system is not affected because the value systems involved is ‘on the company’s dime’. Of course, more detail will be provided so that you can understand the idea.
I’ll reference the examples first, then talk about them later. The 1st example is from episode 5.16 ‘Another Day in the Life’ from tv show ‘Night Court(1988)’. According to Amazon Video, the illustration begins 18 minutes and 35 seconds into the episode, where Texas millionaire Otis Edwards(Pat Corley) says to Judge Harry T. Stone(Harry Anderson) quote:
Texas millionaire Otis Edwards:-‘Oh, judge, I’m a gambling man. I could lose half a million on a bet and never blink twice. But I couldn’t just give money away!’
The 2nd reference is from episode 1.2 ‘Superfriends’ from tv show ‘Fantasy Island(1998)’ starring Malcolm McDowell as Mr. Roarke and James McDaniel as Louis. I could not find this episode streaming from Amazon or youtube. I could not find a transcript of this episode. All I found was an episode recap from web site www.tv.com. Here is a quote:
‘In an effort to create a bond between an overworked father and his son, Roarke transforms banker Louis Burton into eight-year-old Max’s favorite superhero. Although Max is impressed when Louis, as Dyno-man, stops a meteor from destroying Earth, Louis is just as overzealous in his work as a superhero as he was as a banker. Consequently, Max finds himself watching from the sidelines again.’
OK, so here is the basis(the principal constituent; fundamental ingredient) of the story. A certain company has clients that have demanding expectations for their participations. For example, the quote from the ‘Night Court’ episode:
With the advent of medical technology many Alternative Treatments to Chemotherapy have http://djpaulkom.tv/photos-dj-paul-hosts-da-mafia-6ix-x-good-woods-lord-infamous-smoke-kit-party/ lowest price viagra propped up in the blood then it can lead to health complications that can be brought any where. In the event that you have long page pfizer viagra discount names that need separating. However, all the free antivirus software is actually spyware itself! The most common way that cialis cipla spyware is installed on your computer is by direct download from a website you’re visiting, unbeknownst to you. As a result of this, a number of medicines have high demand and are also expected to show fewer side-effects than the products of djpaulkom.tv buy levitra online brand. Texas millionaire Otis Edwards:-‘Oh, judge, I’m a gambling man. I could lose half a million on a bet and never blink twice. But I couldn’t just give money away!’
There are people who want a certain ‘give and take’ involved in their participations, not specifically, but like that character Texas millionaire Otis Edwards. It’s like 2 similar magnets that need to be positioned in a way that they repel each other. They want a certain strife to exist in their participations. Now, because of that attitude, the company has a division to allow their employees to participate with such people without their value systems being affected. Although it’s not mandatory for every employee to participate, all of the employees are encouraged to participate, since the company believes such a participation will improve their employee’s sense of resolve.
So, let’s say several employees have years of experience working with such clients, and the story is introducing one of them, a man, waiting for one of the training employees to report as that employee is participating with such clients. The other employee doesn’t report, and the man has a pretty good idea what has happened to that employee. The man suspects that the employee is now participating directly with several issues that client has to offer. The good news is that, even though that training employee has made an efficiency mistake, such mistakes are allowed for at least a year without penalty from the company, because the company believes that the unique creativities of individuals can have within their perspectives something that cannot simply be put aside. It is how they perceive reality. So, therefore, they allow their employees to deal with it, knowing that in time, probably in a few months, they will learn to acceptably interact with such strife pursuing clients. The company estimates that about 60% of the employees participating will have an obvious quality performance problems, but such problems will be resolved in a few months. Again, the reason why such a program is successful is because it is ‘on the company’s dime’.
The 2nd example, the ‘Superfriends’ example from tv show ‘Fantasy Island(1998)’, is refurbished to illustrate what happens when an employee first participates with such clients. I am not trying to change what such an episode may mean to others. I am just refurbishing it so it can be used for this advice. Now, if memory serves, the important scene I want you to use is after Louis Burton as Dyno-man stopped a meteor from destroying Earth. Since he is in Fantasy Island, Louis believed that there was a relevant connection between business and being a superhero, a connection that he was interacting and immersed with. That took away an obvious amount of time and attention, time and attention that he was supposed to use with his son. You see? It was part of Lous Burton’s chosen perspective to interact with the business aspect of being a superhero. He could not just not do such a thing. It was part of how he perceives reality. However, once he realized what he had done, once he was able to quantify the experience, near the end of the ‘Fantasy Island’ episode, he managed to spend some actual time and attention with his son. In the episode, Mr. Burton received a business related phone call from his cell phone while on a boat with his son. According to memory, he threw away his cell phone. If you remember that scene, or you have access to that episode, refurbish that scene out. Remove it. It is not needed for this advice.
Here’s a 3rd example, refurbished of course, to clarify and emphasize the usefulness of idea ‘Resolve’: The illustration is from movie ‘Nancy Drew(2007)’ and according to Amazon Video rental, the illustration starts 1 hour, 5 minutes, and 8 seconds into the movie. In the beginning of the illustration, Nancy Drew(Emma Roberts) is checking Trish’s(Kelly Vitz) pulse as Trish is lying on the floor passed out. Here is the quote:
Nancy Drew:-(As Nancy is checking Trish’s pulse)’Does she have any food allergies?’
Inga(Daniella Monet):-‘Uh, she is insanely allergic to peanuts, but she didn’t eat anything.’
Teenager:-‘I had a peanut butter cookie, and we were making out.’
Now, this is important. You only use that scene for this advice, and throw away the rest of the movie. And, of course, whatever is used in the movie is refurbished with inapproprieities removed.
The point of that illustration is just to show that, even though your kids in the future may be offered something that is completely acceptable to offer in the party, such as the metaphorical peanuts, your kids will still have to choose not to metaphorically ‘eat’ the peanuts. And hopefully, with the help of the advice known as ‘Resolve’, their use of these ideas will improve. I know that, in the illustration, Trish is experiencing some sort of allergic reaction to the peanuts. That scene is not to be taken literally. It’s just there to show indirectly that peanuts and peanut related products are normally available in that party, and that Trish still has to choose not to ‘eat’ such peanut related products.
[Look, I know I am supposed to be talking about the ‘Proof’ ideas. Next Saturday, I plan to start with bookmark ‘Not ready’. See you then!
I forgot to mention that, in the ‘Resolve’ story, when you are participating with such clients, that even if such participations are on the company’s dime, you will probably still associate yourself with certain clients as if you are using their chosen lifestyle values. This does not mean that you are converting to their chosen lifestyle values. It’s not something that you will do lightly. It is something that you will think about, and only for a few of those clients. It is like allowing a certain sympathy of another person’s plight to become a part of your own, which is why you may only choose to do such a thing for only a few of those clients. Well, anyway, it’s just an idea. You can add, remove, and change parts of it. You don’t have to use these ideas verbatim(in exactly the same words; word for word), so to speak.
TV-14 viewer discretion for tv show ‘Night Court’. Some viewer discretion for tv show ‘Fantasy Island’. Rated PG viewer discretion for movie ‘Nancy Drew’. Use only refurbished for advice references recommended. Throw away rest of episode, series, and movie. [Use mental bookmarks ‘Resolve’ and ‘It’s on the company’s dime.’ for reference, allocation, and prevention when needed.
