Aloha!
It is now 11:30 AM EST for me. As usual, I used up a lot of time looking for a music video for this advice. I think it took me over 2 hours this time. I began my search in the ‘Music’ section in www.youtube.com, and after some compromising, I finally chose a music video from category ‘Music’ in www.youtube.com, sub-category ‘Popular Music Videos’. It is #159 in that category, last time I checked. It is the last category in ‘Music’. The song is called ‘Grateful’ by Mahalia. There is very little about her in www.wikipedia.org, but at least she does have a link there. Here is a quote:
Mahalia Burkmar better known by the stage name Mahalia (born 1 May 1998), is an English singer, songwriter and actress, based in Birmingham.
Mahalia is fromSyston, Charnwood, in Leicestershire.
She wrote her first song at age eight and signed a deal with a major record label at age thirteen.
Here’s an article from www.hotnewhiphop.com about Mahalia’ song ‘Grateful’:
‘ British vocalist Mahalia returns with a beautiful ode to love and transparency. In “Grateful” the singer politely asks her lover to be real about his feelings towards her. And although she is ready for his love, the singer wants him to know there’s no pressure. A smooth and serene instrumental accompanies the muse’s gentle vocals. This lyrics are relatable and will surely make you think about that special someone. ‘
Here’s a quote from the lyrics ‘Grateful’:
I don’t want to hide
I don’t want to hide
I don’t want to shy from you, no
I don’t want to lie
I don’t want to lie
And say that I don’t want you
When I said that I compromised, I allowed myself to use the fact that most of these music videos offered in www.youtube.com are about relationships. Even that concert performance I encouraged kids to watch recently by Carly Rae Jepsen, ‘Run Away With Me’, is a relationship song. So, if you choose to watch music video ‘Grateful’, the purpose for using it here is to simply help you relax. Based on my interpretation of the music video, she moves her body around in her apartment room in a relaxing manner. Sure, the music video itself also presents the music and the video in a way that is, in my opinion, relaxing to watch. Also, as you notice Mahalia’s body language as she dances to her song, keep in mind that there are a variety of shapes and sizes for women.
To watch music video ‘Grateful’ for free, search for phrase ‘mahalia grateful’ in www.youtube.com, and it should be one of the 1st selections offered, with over 630 thousand views. It was published Apr 26, 2019, about 3 weeks ago. I forgot to mention that I watched the music video for the 1st time earlier today, and it looks all right to me. Her appearance is consistently acceptable, considering the fact that she’s portraying a dance that is in her apartment, and she’s also singing, even as she is braiding her own hair in front of the mirror.
False sense of knowing:
It is now 1:40 PM EST for me. Even though idea ‘False sense of knowing’ is a sub-category of idea ‘Verify’, it is the idea I am actively using now. I’ll start with a reference from a scene from movie ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales(2017)’. According to www.wikipedia.org, the ‘Dead Men Tell No Tales’ movie is a popular Walt Disney Pictures movie starring Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow, and Javiar Bardem as Captain Salazar. The movie is available as a streaming rental and purchase from Amazon.com, and according to Amazon Video, that scene starts 1 hour, 4 minutes, and 15 seconds into the movie. Since this is a fantasy movie about pirates, the ghost of Captain Salazar is talking. Here is the quote:
Captain Salazar: ‘The last of their ships were burning before my eyes. And in that moment of victory…it’s when I heard it.
Jack Sparrow: ‘Hey! Hold on, Capitan.’
Captain Salazar: ‘One ship was trying to escape through the smoke.’
Jack Sparrow: ‘It’s a lovely day for a sail, innit?
Captain Salazar: ‘And there, in the crow’s nest…there was this young pirate boy.’
Jack Sparrow: ‘The way I see it, there’s just the two of us left. You surrender to me now and I’ll let you live. Simple.’
Captain Salazar: ‘He stood there looking like a little bird, eh? And from that day… he earned himself a name that will haunt me for the rest of my days… Jack the Sparrow.’
Jack Sparrow: ‘Right then. You surrender to me now and I let you live. I shall let you live. (laughs)’
Captain Salazar: ‘This boy was mocking my power, so I chased him…’
I just remembered another reference for idea ‘False sense of knowing’: It involves a conversation with Duncan MacLeod(Adrian Paul) and Methos(Peter Wingfield). The scene is in episode 6.13 ‘Not to Be’ from action fantasy tv series ‘Highlander(1998)’. the episode is available streaming for purchase from Amazon.com for about 2 dollars, and according to Amazon Video, that scene starts 16 minutes and 32 seconds into the episode, MacLeod and Methos are talking. Here is the quote:
MacLeod: ‘Methos.’

Methos: ‘You’re looking at me as if you know me. You don’t know me.’

Methos: ‘Let me give you some advice. You keep your eyes to yourself.’
OK, here’s the idea I call ‘False sense of knowing’ or ‘False impression of knowing’. For example, in both the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ scene and the ‘Highlander’ scene, Captain Salazar and Methos experienced what I call an accelerated contemplation evaluation of another person. I think it’s been over a month now that I have been creating categories for idea ‘False sense of knowing’. Since it may take me several more weeks to finish this idea, I’ll give you something to work with, so that you, too, if you choose to, can also create ideas that resemble a certain useful recognition for idea ‘False sense of knowing’. I call such useful, relevant recognitions ‘categories’. And so far, I invented 2 categories for idea ‘False sense of knowing’. The 1st category is called ‘Contesting contemplations’, and the 2nd category is called ‘Insults’. I’ve explained idea ‘Contesting contemplations’ before. It was in Wishlist #1168, and it was originally called ‘Contest not know’. Here’s a copy:
Contesting contemplations:
—
‘ So, whether you have experienced this or not, idea ‘Contest not know’ identifies an instigation that makes worse an adverse impression that you do not know someone by causing the innocent person to interact with contemplations that involve a lot of contesting. For example, that instigator may ask that innocent person personal questions, causing that innocent person to say several times ‘I don’t want to talk about that.’ That may induce a contesting sense of contemplation. Also, that same instigator may personally tell that innocent person that he/she is not invited to attend a party that clearly everybody else is invited to attend. The instigator could have just not said anything about such a party to such an innocent person. Why personally say to that person that he/she is not invited? Those 2 incidents, for example, may cause an innocent person to more than usual contemplationally contest not knowing such an instigator. ‘
—
When an instigator causes you to have a contesting contemplation, you become involved contemplationally to address such a contemplation, whether you are contemplationally complaining about it, or you are trying to resolve it. For example, in the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ reference, Captain Jack Sparrow chose to keep the name ‘Jack Sparrow’, since his chosen lifestyle is to be a pirate, in order to cause other pirates to have contesting contemplations just to understand who he is. You can refurbish that ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ scene to see if people in your school or job are also encouraging you to have contesting contemplations about their actions. Another example for the adults with jobs, an instigator may clearly impose an instigation upon you, and yet not show to you from his/her presented demeanor that he/she has made a mistake, a modern day ‘Jack Sparrow’, if you will.
Since I’m assuming that people in general are not psychiatrists, therapists, along those lines, when a student at school or an employee at work experiences a contesting contemplation, that accelerated sense of contemplation can mislead them into thinking that he/she knows that instigator that caused such a contesting contemplation to exist in his/her mind. To repeat myself, if someone in school or work tries repeatedly to talk to you about something that is personal to you, and you told them repeatedly that you don’t want to talk about it, such experiences may cause you to have contesting contemplations about such behavior. And if that same person told you that you are not invited to his/her party, that, too, may cause you to have contesting contemplations. For example, students have parties all the time. They would just invite those that they would want to attend, and that’s that. I don’t think it’s common practice to tell people in school that he/she is NOT invited to attend a party, and I certainly don’t believe that it’s a common thing to tell other employees that they are NOT invited to attend certain parties. Such a conversation, in my opinion, may be done intentionally to cause that innocent person to have a contesting contemplation.
Insults:
According to www.dictionary.com an ‘insult’ is ‘an insolent or contemptuously rude action or remark; affront’. Here is the best illustration example I can think of. It is from the comedy drama movie ‘Unfinished Business(2015)’, starring Vince Vaughn as Dan Trunkman, and Ella Anderson as Bess Trunkman. In this illustration, Bess Trunkman is asking her dad, Dan Trunkman, a question. The movie is available streaming from Amazon.com, and according to Amazon Video, that scene starts 9 minutes and 50 seconds into the movie. Here is the quote:
Bess Trunkman: ‘Can I ask you a question before you go?’
Dan Trunkman: ‘Oh honey, my plane’s gonna– Is it a little question?’
Bess Trunkman: ‘Kind of.’
Dan Trunkman: ‘Okay, yeah. What is your little question?’
Bess Trunkman: ‘When I go to school, I don’t like to go to school at all. It makes my stomach hurt. The jokes hurt my feelings. I cry in the bathroom, and pretend to poop for… I don’t know, two hours.’
Dan Trunkman: ‘That’s not even… I mean… Is that a question? Okay, I know that school can be hard, honey. But you gotta go, or you’ll be a moron.’ (Dan then kisses his daughter’s forehead)
Keep in mind that it’s a comedy drama movie. I’m not going to criticize it. The movie is primarily made for entertainment.
So, there you have it. The 1st 2 categories that encourage innocent people to have a false sense of knowing are 1)’Contesting contemplations’, and 2)’Insults’. Here is what I recommend you do with that: Imagine that there is a 3rd category, let’s say it’s the best one compared to the other 2 categories, and invent that 3rd category. Based on what I imagine past performance is with people reading this blog, I’m pretty certain that it should be easy for you to make a 3rd category. In fact, it should be easy for you to make many 3rd categories. This is a project I encourage you to endeavor in, to make 3rd categories for those 1st 2, 1)’Contesting contemplations’, and ‘2)’Insults’. The recommended plan is that after you make your 1st 3rd category, soon after that, you will make an even better 3rd category. The new 3rd category will replace the current 3rd category. Also, keep in mind that there are many expectations that indicate that your ideas are important. The ideas that you create are what matters. In a matter of speaking, the ideas that I present to you are nothing. They are just ideas. The ideas that you create are what’s important. I recommend that, for learning continuity, you simply use both, the making of your own ideas, and the use of these ideas here, as well as whatever else you are doing, in relation to advice said. And as you are making these ‘3rd categories’, that should give you something to do until I am able to finish idea ‘Verify’, which may take several weeks.(let’s say 3 Saturdays.) I’m going to close and proofread this list now, so that it is clear what the recommended project is.
