Salutations.

It is now 9:18 AM EST for me. I want to explain why I chose the music video I am about to recommend to you. The main reason is the movie I mail order rented that I still have because I haven’t seen it yet. It is called ‘Dora and the Lost City of Gold(2019)’, starring Isabela Merced as Dora. Here is a description of the movie from www.imdb.com:

‘ Dora, a teenage explorer, leads her friends on an adventure to save her parents and solve the mystery behind a lost city of gold. ‘

This type of movie reminds me of movie ‘Tomb Raider’, starring Alicia Vikander as Lara Croft. I still have the mail order Blu-ray, since I didn’t see it yet. According to the Blu-ray/DVD mail order service that I use, the ‘Dora…’ movie was mailed to my PO Box on 11/20/2019, just a few days ago. I’m saying this to emphasize the newness of the ‘Dora…’ movie. It is my belief that there are not that many action movies starring teenage girls/women out there yet.

The main reason why I chose the music video I am about to recommend to you is that the singer in that music video is also Isabela Merced, who also stars as Dora in the movie ‘Dora and the Lost City of Gold’. Here is a quote from wikipedia.org about Isabela Merced:

‘ Isabela Moner (born July 10, 2001), also known as Isabela Merced, is an American actress and singer… In 2019, Moner starred as the titular character of Dora in the film Dora and the Lost City of Gold. ‘

And now, the music video I want to recommend to you for this list is called ‘Papi’ by Isabela Merced. Here’s a brief quote from wikipedia again:

‘ Her first single, Papi, was released on October 25, 2019, followed by her first music video released on November 6, 2019 ‘

Here’s a quote from a review from film-news.co.uk about her music video:

‘ Dora and the Lost City of Gold star Isabela Moner went back to her Peruvian roots for the video to accompany her new single, Papi, because she wanted to highlight the culture of her parents’ homeland.

The promo, which dropped on Wednesday (06Nov19), features choreography and wardrobe elements from a Peruvian dance ritual, called Marinera.

“Different elements of my Peruvian culture, from the coast to the Amazons, are incorporated into every aspect of my music, wardrobe, dancing, and storytelling of my videos,” Isabela tells WENN. “The Papi music video includes a modern twist on Marinera, featuring the faldas and the panuelos (dances), and the props in the video were inspired from a Peruvian tradition, the Diablada.

“I want to introduce everyone to the rich culture of my family’s heritage.” ‘

And here’s a quote from the lyrics of song ‘Papi’:

I’m never gonna call you papi
Even if it makes you happy
Not gonna call you papi
Even if I kiss up on it, touch up on it, let’s be honest, nah
No papi
Even if it hurts, I’m sorry
Not gonna call you papi
Even if I kiss up on it, touch up on it, let’s be honest, nah

To watch music video ‘Papi’ for free, search for phrase ‘isabela merced papi’ in www.youtube.com, and it should be one of the 1st selections offered, with over 4 million views. The amount of views is amazing, since it was published Nov 6, 2019, just a little over 2 weeks ago. Also, there are already over 9,000 comments created in that short amount of time.

I’ve been recommending the watching of music videos for a while now, and I noticed that a lot of them are relationship based, and that the singers would usually add more meaning to that chosen relationship presentation. The music video ‘Papi’ in my opinion is also yet another relationship based music video. However, if you read the quote from the review, Isabela Meced wants you to know that “I want to introduce everyone to the rich culture of my family’s heritage.” And that is done in the context of a relationship based music video. I’m not saying that there is anything wrong with that. For example, if you are new to watching music videos, the possible 1st thing that you may notice about them is that they’re very into ‘singing’ about relationship issues, and that is not the only thing that is there.

I watched the entire music video only once for the 1st time less than an hour ago today. It has a lot of synchronized dancing variety. I look forward to watching the movie ‘Dora and the Lost City of Gold’ Blu-ray rental for the 1st time today.

It’s now 10:11 AM EST for me. I’m taking a short break now in order to buy food from the supermarket, and another errand. I’ll start again 2 hours from now.

It is now 1:19 PM EST for me. I’m obviously late, but I was able to finish both errands, and I ordered Chinese food. The food should be here in 20 minutes.

Not effective: Not work:

It is now 2:10 PM EST for me. I have eaten the Chinese food, the food hunger is gone, and I am ready to type. Before I start explaining idea ‘Not effective’, I want to introduce a part of the idea in advance, so that it’s easier for you to use. Refurbished, of course, I am going to recommend the use of 2 characters for this idea. One character is the main character, but the other character is from episode 4.10 ‘Beneath the Surface’ from sci-fi tv series ‘Stargate SG-1(2000)’. Here is a quote from www.wikipedia.org about the episode:

‘ The members of SG-1 have had their memories altered and been put to work in an underground industrial complex. ‘

The character I am going to use is Major Samantha Carter portrayed by Amanda Tapping. However, in this ‘Beneath the Surface’ episode, Major Carter cannot remember her original memories of identity, and her core memories were replaced with an identity whose name is Thera. She still has her scientific mind and experiences, but those experiences were changed to allow her to work in a mine. If you want to, in relation to advice, you can see the entire episode so you can understand her situation more. I’m just using the part, refurbished, where she thinks she’s Thera. The episode is available streaming from Amazon.com. If you have Amazon Prime, the episode is available without additional payment. I’ll just quote the main part of that episode where she thinks she’s Thera, and extrapolate from that. In that scene, Thera(Samantha Carter) is talking to her boss, Brenna(Alison Matthews) about ideas that she believed Brenna might find useful for the mine. According to Amazon Video, that scene starts 13 minutes and 47 seconds into the episode. Here is the quote:

Thera: ‘Did you get a chance to look over my plans yet? I’d like to get started right away.’

Brenna: ‘We can’t do the improvements.’

Thera: ‘But you said before–‘

Brenna: ‘No. They would require the generators to be off-line for too long. If any of the critical systems began to freeze, we might not be able to get them started again.

Thera: ‘I agree there’s some risk–‘

Brenna: ‘Too much risk.’

Thera: ‘OK, what about my other ideas?’

Brenna: ‘I’m sorry. This plant is all that stands between us and the ice. Uninterrupted production is more important than efficiency. You may return to work.’

Thera: ‘Brenna, I know you were excited about this. What’s happened?’

Brenna: ‘Well, I’ve thought it over.’

Thera: ‘At least let me come up with a safer way–‘

Brenna: ‘Thera. Please leave.’

Thera: ‘It’s my honor to serve.’

Before I begin explaining ideas ‘Admit’, ‘Anticipate’, and finally ‘Proof’, I want to explain idea ‘Not effective’. Basically, idea ‘Not effective’ encourages you to develop your ability to identify certain instigation experiences your technique is used to evaluate as ‘not effective’, meaning that your chosen use of technique to evaluate and cope with instigations and it’s related inadvertencies, is having difficulty resolving and/or identifying such experiences, and that, if you choose to, you discontinue/no longer try to evaluate and cope with such experiences, and that you use another approach for such experiences, such as using another way, another evaluation, to do so.

For example, let’s start with idea ‘Stop solving!’ from Wishlist #1176. Here is a quote:

‘ The 2nd concept is something that I created recently from idea ‘Stop solving!’, an idea that is in Wishlist #1168. In idea ‘Stop solving!’, Jace Wayland(Dominic Sherwood) is catching Rubik’s Cubes and putting them in a basket. That represents Jace choosing to not resolve the Rubik’s Cubes. So, from that idea, I imagined Jace holding a basket filled with unresolved Rubik’s Cubes, and the basket is so full, you can see some of the Rubik’s Cubes outside of the basket, an indicator that the basket is already more than full. Now and then, when you choose to, and it’s reasonable to do so, you can imagine Jace holding that overfilled bucket of Rubik’s Cubes, and you are either causing him to catch another Rubik’s Cube, or you are placing another Rubik’s Cube on top of that basket. That imagined illustration represents you not choosing to solve an instigation and/or inadvertency you experienced using idea ‘Not result not solve’. ‘

Now, instead of an instigation, let’s use a minor puzzle. Let’s say that someone from school/work introduced you to a minor puzzle. You think about it for less than a minute, and instead of the strategy that you are using to solve that puzzle, you simply change your strategy. You use another strategy to solve that puzzle. Or you stop solving that puzzle. You can then imagine throwing Jace that Rubik’s Cube that represents that puzzle, and he catches it. Or you can imagine using one of your hands to place the Rubik’s Cube with the other Rubik’s Cubes, on the overfilling basket of Rubik’s Cubes that Jace is holding. Idea ‘Not effective’ is like that. It’s one way to help you stop using evaluations that are ‘not effective’ on certain instigations that you have experienced.

Idea ‘Not effective’ is meant to be generalistic, meaning that I’m not making it more specific based on what I already know. The reason is because it’s purpose is to help you with the many ideas and issues that you may have that involve no longer using certain details of such ideas and issues as ‘not effective’. If you want to, think of idea ‘Not effective’ as a space port, like the Babylon 5 space station in sci-fi tv show ‘Babylon 5’, or the space station Deep Space Nine in Star Trek tv series ‘Star Trek: Deep Space Nine’. It’s something that I offer for you to use a lot when confronting notions that you deem are ‘no longer effective’, and you are either no longer using such notions, or you are changing the use of such notions. Idea ‘Not effective’ is an idea that I invite you to use a lot.

Idea ‘Not effective’ was created from the movie ‘Annapolis(2006)’, starring James Franco as Midshipman 4th Class Jake Huard. Basically, Jake Huard is having trouble academically as a student? in the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis. And based on my understanding of the movie, all of the other main character students are not having problems academically. I believe in the context of movie extrapolation that all of the other main character students attended Junior ROTC when they were in high school. (Junior ROTC is explained in www.wikipedia.org.) Jake Huard, on the other hand, did not attend Junior ROTC while he was in high school. In other words, if you’re a high school student attending Junior ROTC, and you plan to attend a U.S. Naval Academy, then you’re probably at least look at what courses are available at that Academy, and prepare in advance for them. You may have even visited certain Naval Academies, etc. Jake Huard did not attend Junior ROTC, and he did almost none of those things such JROTC high school students probably have done to prepare for attending a Naval Academy. Also, according to the movie, Jake Huard is a late lister, meaning that he started attending late in the semester. Those 2 things alone explains why Jake Huard is having problems academically.

Keep in mind that the movie ‘Annapolis’ is just a movie. There’s even a disclaimer in wikipedia that says that the movie ‘Annapolis’ was made without the support of the Department of the Navy and the Department of Defense. But you can still use the movie, refurbished, to help you with your instigation problems. For example, you get to compare Jake Huard to the other students at Annapolis. You can imagine that the other ‘main character’ students actually have a technique to more tenably evaluate notions that are ‘not effective’ to them.

If you choose to use idea ‘Not effective’, and you haven’t purchased the movie ‘Annapolis’ on Blu-ray/DVD, or some other format, I recommend that you purchase streaming version of movie ‘Annapolis’ from Amazon.com. You can rent the streaming version I think for only 3 dollars Standard Definition, but purchasing it is only about 10 dollars Standard Definition. If you purchase the streaming version, you can reference it many times without paying any more fees in the future.

If you choose to watch ‘Annapolis’ for idea ‘Not effective’, you don’t even have to watch the whole movie! All you need are 2 scenes from the movie. If you want to, you can watch the movie only once (in the context of a movie with inapproprieities removed), and then just reference those 2 scenes for this advice. A few other scenes would be useful, but you just need those 2 scenes. I’ll quote those 2 scenes, in no particular order. (The order that I explain it doesn’t matter.) The 1st scene starts 1 hour, 8 minutes, and 1 second into the movie. Here is the quote:

Midshipman 1st Class/2nd Lieutenant Matthew Cole(Tyrese Gibson): (To everyone but Huard): ‘All right. Everybody on your feet. Everyone but Huard is dismissed. (to Huard): How about some more up-downs, Huard?’

Soon after the other students were told to be dismissed, you see all of those students standing in the rain for a few seconds. And after you see that scene for a 2nd time, you may imagine? that all of those students have a more developed ability to manage notions that are ‘not effective’ to their chosen strategies. In other words, you may imagine that those students may have the answer that you seek, that they may know something that can be useful to you, to the problems that you may have experiencing certain mild to moderate instigations.

Soon after Midshipman Cole dismisses them, you see them come back, and they choose to do push-ups with Huard.

The 2nd scene involves Lieutenant Commander Burton(Donnie Wahlberg) boxing with Jake Huard. The scene starts 54 minutes and 49 seconds into the movie. Here is the quote:

Lieutenant Burton: ‘You think you’re gonna be the first plebe to get through here without anyone’s help?’

Jake Huard: ‘I don’t need anyone’s help.’

Jake Huard: ‘No one thinks I’ll make it anyway.’

Lieutenant Burton: ‘Who do you think convinced The Board to take a chance on you?’

Lieutenant Burton: ‘This ain’t the shipyard, Huard. You can’t just will yourself through this place.’

All right. To start, I imagined that Jake Huard used his imagination many times to help him create some sort of tenability, or even a solution, to the problems that he was experiencing as a student in Annapolis. Of course, he talked to his friends, other students, even Midshipman Cole. This is one of the conceptualizations that I imagined that Cole created. To help you conceptualize this, I recommend that you look at the Amazon Studios logo. It is available to be watched for free in www.youtube.com. Just search for phrase ‘amazon studios logo’ in youtube.com, and it should be one of the 1st selections offered, with over 68 thousand views. It is published by Pepsi9072 on Aug 30, 2016. The video is 19 seconds, and in my opinion, it’s very quick. It is like it starts as a blank schematic, and then the schematic fills up with buildings and roads, all being built in under 20 seconds. Jake Huard did something similar in his mind, but the structures represented fortified notions made very quickly, like imagined a lawyer specializing in business might do. And on top of one of those structures, Midshipman Cole is standing, with his Navy uniform on, standing at attention with his hands behind his back.

Here’s a story I created that explains why he wasn’t able to extrapolate the answers that he believed that he needed from the other students and teachers at Annapolis: Imagine a business gathering that happens 5 days a week in this big room, and the answers that Jake Huard needs are represented by the footprints that everyone leaves in that big room. However, and the end of the business day, the janitors/custodians clean that floor, and it’s adjacent rooms. By doing so, they remove the footprints that people leave behind while using that room. Therefore, wasn’t able to recognize those answers, since those answers are always removed at the end of business day.

This next story is the story I’ve been building up to. To help you use it, I recommend you look at that scene in episode 4.19 ‘The Nth Degree’ from sci-fi tv series ‘Star Trek: The Next Generation(1991)’, when Lieutenant Barclay(Dwight Schultz) and Holodeck Albert Einstein(Jim Norton) are talking. The episode is available streaming without additional payment if you have Amazon Prime from Amazon.com, and according to Amazon Video, that scene starts 21 minutes and 42 seconds into the episode. I’m not quoting the scene. I recommend that you watch that scene, to help you use this idea.

The 1st main character of this story is Daniel Jackson(Michael Shanks), from sci-fi tv series ‘Stargate SG-1’. Here’s a brief quote about him from wikipedia.org:

‘ In the movie Stargate, Daniel Jackson, Ph.D., is presented as having several professional credentials including Archaeologist, Historian, and Linguist. Dr. Jackson utilizes his skills in all three fields throughout the film as it becomes evident that he specializes in Egyptology.

Jackson, as an archaeologist, becomes the stereotypical academic – extremely smart, nerdy, socially awkward, and quirky. As a character, which further exemplifies this stereotype, Daniel represents an antithesis to the military stereotype of shoot first, ask questions later. Jackson is frequently depicted as approaching other cultures; past, present, and future, in a culturally sensitive manner, sometimes siding with their interests above those of the military back on Earth. Daniel seems more akin to a pseudo-archaeologist than a scientist. Pseudo-archaeology operates, generally, outside of the empirical and analytical methods of the profession of archaeology, and often is associated with claims of extraterrestrial life, magic, and other phenomena.

And here is the story I imagined: Daniel Jackson is doing some calculations on the chalk board, (like in that recommended ‘Star Trek’ episode), and then he realized that his calculations was a disappointment, and then he leaves. Soon after he leaves, 2 kids appear out of nowhere, and were discussing to themselves how Daniel Jackson’s calculations are absolutely useful to them.

One man’s loss is another man’s gain:

Have you ever heard of the phrase ‘One man’s loss is another man’s gain?’ According to usingenglish.com, ‘this means that one person’s setback benefits someone else’. That’s what ‘The Daniel Jackson story’ is for. I am recommending that you use your chosen evaluations of Jake Huard’s trials and tribulations from the movie ‘Annapolis’ to help you resolve your instigation woes. For example, even though Jake Huard is experiencing disappointments trying to maintain his student status in Annapolis, if you start imagining his disappointments as being written on a chalkboard, you may find his efforts useful to you, since those efforts are done in the context of maintaining his Annapolis student status. For example, let’s say his efforts represent an 80% use of resourcefulness, and you only need 30% of that resourcefulness to resolve certain things. So, even though Jake Huard’s 80% does not work for him, all things being equal, you only need 30% to achieve certain goals. In that imagined situation, if that were true, then that is the reason you are studying Jake Huard’s efforts, because it offers certain solutions for certain problems that you may be experiencing. And that is why I offered you ‘The Daniel Jackson story’, so that you can see how another person’s loss could be another person’s gain.

I realize that Jake Huard may not have certain abilities that you may find useful enough, even in imagination use. That is why I explain Samantha Carter/Thera in the beginning. So, instead of studying just Jake Huard’s woes, I also offer you the option to imagine Samantha Carter also being a student in Annapolis, and she is also finding it difficult to maintain her Annapolis student status.

Here is a question for the advice: ‘How is it possible that Samantha Carter is having trouble maintaining her Annapolis student status?’ That is why I recommend that you watch the scenes where Samantha Carter thinks that she is Thera, that ‘Beneath the Surface’ episode. That episode can help you imagine situations where even someone who is very smart can still have difficulties remaining a student at Annapolis. If you look at that ‘Beneath the Surface’ recommended scene again, her ideas were rejected. And she said to Brenna her boss before she left quote:

Thera: ‘It’s my honor to serve.’

So, you have all of that convenient information in the initial form of proposals given to Thera’s boss Brenna, and those proposals were still interpreted as ‘not effective’. You can even imagine having some trouble with a woman version of Midshipman Cole. Another ‘Annapolis’ movie could be imagined, but instead of Jake Huard, you can instead use a refurbished Thera. That way, the variety may help you use these ‘Annapolis’ ideas better.

It is now 6:15 PM EST for me. I plan to take off from work Thanksgiving Day(11/28/2019), but I’ll use it to finish watching what I programmed on the cable tv box. For example, I have a lot of episodes of ‘Document 72 Hours’ I recorded from channel ‘NHKHD'(NHK World) that I didn’t watch yet. I can’t just ‘fast forward’ through them, like I do with most other tv shows and movies that I watch. However, with that extra day off, I may be able to explain ideas ‘Admit’ and ‘Anticipate’ Friday, and finally explain idea ‘Proof’ next Saturday.

I am going to close this idea now. If you are there, I’ll see you then.

TV-14 sci-fi violence and viewer discretion for tv series ‘Stargate SG-1’. PG-13 violence and viewer discretion for movie ‘Annapolis’. TV-PG sci-fi violence and viewer discretion for tv series ‘Star Trek: The Next Generation’. Use only refurbished for advice references recommended. Throw away rest of episode, series, and movie. [Use mental bookmarks ‘Not effective’, ‘Not work’, ‘Stop solving!’, and ‘One man’s loss is another man’s gain’ for reference, allocation, and prevention when needed.
