Wishlist #1265

Good morning.

It is now 8:15 AM EST for me.

Even though I started early, it still took me over 2 hours to find a music video and commercial for this advice. I want to get that out of the way before I type in the other stuff.

The music video is from Vietnam, not sung in English, and is called ‘BÍCH PHƯƠNG x CO.OPMART – Em Chào Tết (Official M/V)’ I looked at several other English singing video clip reviews, but I could not find one there. That’s when I chose to use publisher ‘Top 40 Music Charts’ from www.youtube.com. To find that music video, click that, then click ‘Uploads’. Scroll down to find video clip ‘VIETNAM TOP 40 SONGS, V-POP MUSIC CHART 2020 (Popnable VN)’ published Feb 10, 2020, over a year ago. The video starts 1 minute and 42 seconds into the video clip, and is #24. I couldn’t read it’s description, so I searched for phrase ‘vietnam top 40 songs 2020’ in www.youtube.com, and one of the selections had the entire playlist. It was #10 in that playlist.

To me, it looks like a fun, colorful family oriented music video made in Vietnam. I like the part when the singer and 4 of her friends chose to go to the supermarket, and everyone in the supermarket did some synchronized dancing.

I haven’t checked the translated lyrics of the song, but if you choose to watch the music video, it’s clearly family oriented.

I think you may find my choice for commercial entertaining to watch. in www.youtube.com, I searched for phrase ‘trailers super bowl 2021’, and found and used selection ‘Top 10 Best Super Bowl Commercials of 2021’ published by WatchMojo.com. I chose #3, ‘Drake from State Farm’. The review of that commercial starts 8 minutes and 33 seconds into the video clip. I recommend that you watch both the review and the actual commercial. To watch the commercial, search in www.youtube.com for phrase ‘drake from state farm’, and it’s in selection ‘Drake from State Farm :30 | State Farm® Commercial’, which has almost 3 million views, and was published Feb 7, 2021, less than a week ago. Here’s a quote from the review:

‘The best is saved for last as Jake from State Farm introduces us to his stand-in, Drake from State Farm.’

Before I type in the advice, I finally remembered to type in this warning. In a previous list, I think I recommended this product:

‘ BAGAIL Set of 3 Mesh Laundry Bags – 3 Extra Large Clothes Wash Bag… ‘

I use those laundry bags regularly now to wash my clothes. For example, I put my white face masks in one of those bags, and wash that bag in a small washing machine in the laundromat, making it easy to remove from the washing machine. I use those bags to make it easy to wash certain articles of clothing, and then I take those clothes out of those mesh bags in order to dry them.

The warning is that whatever those mesh bags are made of, it’s not like string from a spool of thread. They’re very strong. One time, one of it’s string fabrics was loose, and I tried to remove it from using my fingers. It burned one of my fingers as I tried to pull that string off, and almost broke the skin on my finger to the point that I almost bled. The warning is that, if you are using those mesh bags, if threads from it’s fabric are sticking out of the mesh bag, and you want to remove those threads, don’t pull it out with your fingers. That may cause you to get cut by them. Instead, cut them off.

Because I believe that idea ‘1st trick’ may fundamentally change your use of strategy to manage experienced instigations, what I’ll do today is sort of explain the idea I am using now, which I invented Thursday, 2/11/21, 2 days ago. I call that idea ‘Deny require’. That idea uses the ‘1st trick’ idea. Since I chose to take a day off from work 2/15/2021, President’s Day, I will explain idea ‘1st trick’ then. If I change my mind, I’ll just explain idea ‘1st trick’ next Saturday. That way, if you learn ‘Deny require’ 1st, and then learn ‘1st trick’, you may choose to use it as something that prepares you to use the ‘1st trick’ idea.

Deny require:

All right. When you are learning these ideas, I am assuming that you are the ‘innocent’ person, and not an instigator. So, you may have a bunch of ideas to be used ‘as needed’ when you experience certain mild to moderate forms of instigation. One type of instigation an instigator may impose upon you to experience is an instigation that plays against your sense of resolving. The experience could cause you to have the inclination to try to resolve something that may take you some time to resolve, and this particular resolving may contemplationally impose a sense of requirement to deny the resolving. The solution I recommend for you to use is to simply? choose to not use/resolve/participate with the inclination to require to deny. So, if you experience something like that, contemplationally say ‘Deny require’ or ‘Require deny’, to help you to not contemplationally use it, not get involved with it, not resolve it, not participate with it, not address it, etc.

Deny provoke:

According to www.dictionary.com, here’s one of the definitions for word ‘provoke’ that I am using for idea ‘Deny provoke’: ‘to anger, enrage, exasperate, or vex’. Here are the 1st 2 illustrations for idea ‘Deny provoke’:

The 1st illustration is in episode 3.3 ‘Ashes and Demons’ from fantasy tv series ‘American Gods(2021)’. Since it has a TV-MA(mature themes) rating, just use that scene refurbished for this advice. Throw away the rest of the episode and series. The episode is available streaming from Amazon.com, and according to Amazon Video, that scene starts 12 minutes and 15 seconds into the episode. Here is the quote:

Mr. Wednesday(Ian McShane): ‘Nah. It’s gotta be calla lillies.’

Cordelia(Ashley Reyes): ‘I think she might like that more.’

Mr. Wednesday: ‘Well, what you think matters not at all.’

Cordelia: ‘As you keep reminding me. One of these days, it’s gonna stick.’

Mr. Wednesday: ‘Deeds, not words. To the florist.’

The 2nd illustration is in episode 2.4 from fantasy tv series ‘A Discovery of Witches(2021)’. The episode is available streaming from Amazon.com, and according to Amazon Video, that scene starts 19 minutes and 6 seconds into the episode, Domenico(Gregg Chillin) and Marcus(Edward Bluemel) are talking. Here is the quote:

Domenico: (smelling Marcus)

The term BSOD was originally given its name order viagra overnight. In 1961, the india sildenafil Blackhawks pulled it together and won another championship with the help of teammates Glenn Hall, Pierre Pilote, Bobby Hull, and Stan Mikita. Marcus: ‘Okay. First off, you’re not really my type. And, secondly, you could really do with a breath mint.’

Both scenes illustrate one person provoking a response from another, and each illustration has some understanding from the tv series. So, let’s start with the ‘American Gods’ illustration:

Cordelia: ‘As you keep reminding me. One of these days, it’s gonna stick.’

In an earlier episode of season 3, Cordelia explained to Shadow Moon(Ricky Whittle) that her employer Mr. Wednesday pays her for her computer expertise. He even paid for all of her obvious financial debts, including her college tuition, as part of her agreement to work for him. However, in spite of his very gracious agreement with her, Cordelia still said this to Mr. Wednesday:

Cordelia: ‘As you keep reminding me. One of these days, it’s gonna stick.’

So, in spite of her very favorable employee agreement with Mr. Wednesday, she is still warning him that his sleights/inappropriate dialogue that she has with him may eventually ‘stick’. Mr. Wednesday from time to time provokes a response from Cordelia, and she is warning Mr. Wednesday that her future response to such provocations may not be so tempered. And even after such a warning, Mr. Wednesday provokes another response from Cordelia, quote:

Mr. Wednesday: ‘Deeds, not words… ‘

Pursue:[2/27/2021]

It is now 11:00 AM EST for me. Sorry for the delay. I experienced a minor right leg cramp from the muscles opposite of my right knee. I relaxed on my bed, and it’s gone now. My right shoulder is aching again, but that comes and goes. I could put Icy Hot on it, but I just do that when it’s work related. It’s really not that bad yet.

All right. And now for the ‘Discovery of Witches’ episode. The reason Marcus said to Domenico quote:

Marcus: ‘Okay. First off, you’re not really my type. And, secondly, you could really do with a breath mint.’

That response is not just because Domenico smelled him. They are, after all, both vampires. Refurbished for advice just in case, Marcus said that because he was already provoked by Domenico when Domenico interrupted his dinner date with Phoebe Taylor(Adelle Leonce). Domenico could have talked to Marcus at another time, but he wanted to talk to Marcus in a situation that would benefit his questioning. In other words, Domenico is acting like Columbo(Peter Falk), from that crime mystery tv series ‘Columbo(1971+)’. I only watched a few of those episodes. Part of Columbo’s interrogation style is to question others while they’re focus is elsewhere. Columbo does that to those he believes are guilty.

This is the part where I make a logical conclusion, and I recommend that you prepare yourselves for it. If you have vasoline, I recommend that you put some on your lips. Maybe stretching your muscles a little would help. I’ll say it in the next paragraph, so that you can prepare yourselves.

All right, here it is: just because an instigator provoked you to have a response, that doesn’t have to mean that you pursued to have a provoked response. It is my belief that an instigator may cause you to react to a provocation in such a way that you may believe that you pursued such a provoked response. If you choose to use this idea, just keep in mind the option that, even though an instigator is encouraging you to have a provoked response, that doesn’t have to mean that you choose to pursue to have a provoked response. That is something an instigator may be encouraging you to experience, not something that you are pursuing to experience. If you have been experiencing mild to moderate forms of instigations in the past already, and the instigator already caused you to believe based on your reactions to provocation, that you already believed that you chose to pursue certain provoked responses, then just commit to this premise, and contemplationally clarify to yourself that such incidents already occurred and are separate from your current chosen resolve. If you haven’t done something like that before, then it just takes some practice. The more you contemplationally practice, the better you should get at it.

Here’s one more illustration example. It is in episode 1.13 ‘She’ from action fantasy tv series ‘Angel(2000)’. The episode is available streaming from Amazon.com, and according to Amazon Video, the scene starts 40 minutes and 52 seconds into the episode. Here is the quote:

Angel(David Boreanaz): ‘If it persists on my turf, you’ll have another enemy.’

Alien: ‘You don’t understand our ways, human.’

Angel: ‘No, I don’t… And I’m not human.’

Keep up: Delay:

I just wanted to give you an illustration example of someone? using a facial expression to induce a reaction. It could be from a provocation, or a reaction that is meant to induce a contemplation delay, something that encourages you to ‘keep up’ with it. You may have experienced instigations in the past that focuses on contemplation delays as ‘bait’ to cause you to continue thinking about them.

It is now 11:39 AM EST for me. I am now going to close this list. I will explain idea ‘1st trick’ this coming Monday. If not, I’ll explain it next Saturday. So, if you are there, I’ll see you then.
