Since I finished the previous list earlier than expected, I plan to start explaining the next idea tomorrow.

5/11/2016

It’s now 1:22 pm according to my computer. Instead of continuing to the next idea, I plan to go through the tivo? player I am using. I think it can only hold up to 100 or so hours of tv programming, so what I want to do is go through the shows and movies that I have in it, delete some of them, and maybe catalog their names, in case the tivo? player breaks down. If you include me watching a few of them, that task may take a few hours. Also, I have 5 digital comics to read from comixology.com. So, if I do all of that, I probably won’t be in the mood to type in anything today. Regardless, I typed in an entire idea yesterday, and my 1 idea a week self obligated quota is met. Of course, I plan to type another idea in next week, probably Tuesday.

OK, here we go! First, I’d like to explain the process that I used to make the sequence of these ideas. The 1st 2 ideas, the ‘Egging me on.’ and ‘Composure response.’ ideas, were to prep you up for the overall effect of this idea. When I invented the gist(the main or essential part of a matter) of this idea, it really begin with the 3rd idea, the ‘Rosetta Stone’ idea. When I first invented that idea, I treated it in my mind as if it were ‘the king of the hill’ idea, so to speak. I gave it top priority. However, soon after I made that idea, I then discovered the ‘Stop’ idea, which I then gave the ‘Stop’ idea top priority. Soon after the ‘Stop’ idea was invented, I invented the ‘Have to go to the bathroom’ idea. Now, that idea I spent at least 2 weeks giving it an obviously active use. And then, to the best of my memory, after the majorly obvious sense of it’s epiphany wore off, the final idea I will explain for these ideas I invented, and the name I offered to you was I think ‘Not my sense of chosen understanding.’ When I got to that idea, I realized that it was one of those ideas that may benefit you greatly. However, I can’t just explain that idea to you on it’s own. I mean, I can, but it may be like your experiences with explaining bookmark ‘Argue’ to others. You have an idea of what ‘Argue’ means, but when you try to explain just that explanation to others, they don’t seem to have the appreciation of bookmark ‘Argue’ that you have. In order for a sense of appreciation to be given to others, you would have to explain all 5 parts of bookmark ‘Argue’, not just the 5th part. It may be like that. And so, to avoid that, I decided to give you the explanation in 6 parts.

Also, there’s something about ‘appreciation’ that I want to mention before I start beginning the explanation of ‘Have to go to the bathroom.’ in this list. Here’s a story I imagined to explain it: Let’s say someone who speaks Italian as a primary language and knows English as a second language is reading these lists. As an example, I’ll use Leopoldo from movie ‘To Rome with Love’ portrayed by actor Roberto Benigni as the man who is reading these ideas. Now, Leopoldo is trying to tell me how useful a few of these ideas are to him. However, I do not know what his school of thought is. Out of respect, I try to respond in an acceptable context. Still, even though I try, I still do not know what his school of thought is. In other words, how Leopoldo is appreciating the use of these ideas is beyond my obviously tangible sense of understanding. I believe many of you, if you choose to, can imagine Leopoldo trying to tell me how these ideas are useful to him, but he is experiencing some mild sense of frustration because he is unable to ‘tell’ me how he appreciates the use of these ideas. I’m just an American. I am not one of those Americans that I imagine I know of that are from organizations that have existed for a few thousand years, and have chosen to live in America as Americans. I suppose for some of them, they may look like the people in a typical ‘Sabrina, the Teenage Witch’ episode. No, I don’t think I am one of those Americans. I am just American.

According to WordPress, it took me about 2 hours to find an illustration for ‘Have to go to the bathroom’. This is the only reference I can think of for this list where a person intentionally induced such an experience upon another person, even methodically planned it. The illustration is located in  episode 3.17 ‘Debasement Tapes’ from tv series ‘Veronica Mars(2007)’ According to Amazon Video, the illustration starts 39 minutes and 15 seconds into the episode, when Logan Echolls(Jason Dohring) is giving a class presentation, and the teacher for that class is Professor Corrigan(Norman Large). Logan was using a computer created illustration of women’s butts. Of course, if the teacher accepted such a project, this example would not be used. In this example, the teacher, Mr. Corrigan, believed that such a presentation was unacceptable. You can even see an obvious impression of believing that such a project was unacceptable being presented by that teacher, even though the students in his class believed it was entertaining to watch. Eventually, Mr. Corrigan stopped the presentation. Now, I know this is supposed to be standard demographic advice, and I don’t expect everyone reading these ideas to be college professors, so therefore I recommend that you simply refurbish Professor Corrigan’s responses to something that is useful to you. In that same episode, Logan is working with Cindy Mackenzie(Tina Majorino) to create that computer illustrating project. Their interactions show you that Logan wanted to present such a project to his classmates, and more specifically, to Professor Corrigan.

And now, for the actual explanation of ‘Have to go to the bathroom’. So, let’s start with an animated example of Homer Simpson using the bathroom. According to Amazon Video, the reference is located 6 minutes and 50 seconds into episode 27.19 ‘Fland Canyon’ from series ‘The Simpsons(2016)’. The reference begins when Homer Simpson is saying to Maggie quote-‘After ten hours of driving, I finally saw the most glorious site.’ Homer was referring to the public restroom. And since it is an animated comedy show, the show illustrates, based on Homer’s moaning and groaning while he is urinating, he is illustrating that he did, indeed, wasn’t able to use the restroom for ten hours while he was driving. The 1st time I saw that episode, I thought that the bear was going to attack Homer, but because Homer had to pee for such a long time, the moans and groans that Homer made to need to use the restroom caused the bear to also need to pee, and the bear left because it also had to pee.

[For me, the hard part of this explanation is over, and that is finding and explaining tv show references for it. I want to take a break now and finish explaining this idea tomorrow.

Time for me to finish this idea. Basically, bookmark ‘Have to go to the bathroom’ references the accumulated feeling that you have that indicates to you that you ‘have to go to the bathroom’. This is not about actually going to the bathroom to relieve yourself. This is about using your experiences with having the inclination to go to the bathroom to evaluate instigations and related inadvertencies that involve a sense of accumulation. For example, my most memorable tv show reference about teenagers texting each other is from episode 1.3 ‘Sweet Sixteen’ from tv show ‘Canterbury’s Law(2008)’, starring Julianna Margulies as Elizabeth Canterbury. According to Amazon Video, the scene begins 40 minutes and 28 seconds, near the end of the episode. After Miss Canterbury freed Isabelle(Brianna Steinhilber) from jail, Elizabeth sees Isabelle texting Linda(Lauren Weisman), the friend that tried to send her to jail for a crime Elizabeth didn’t commit. It’s not just that scene. Several times in that episode, you see Elizabeth texting Linda. Based somewhat on those examples from tv show ‘Canterbury’s Law’, not from actual experience, I am assuming that girls in America nowadays like to text each other a great deal. So, here’s an example that I just imagined: 2 girls are texting each other while they are both at home, and one of the girls has to go to the bathroom. So, the girl who has to go to the bathroom texts the other girl, saying that she has to stop texting, in order to go to the bathroom.

An example for adults is when an adult is talking to customer service for whatever reason, and the conversation is lasting longer than they have anticipated, and they have to go to the bathroom, so they would have to tell customer service that they would have to stop for a moment in order to use the bathroom.

So, here is an example of a person that would benefit from using idea ‘Have to go to the bathroom’. Let’s use the tv illustration I offered you yesterday, episode 3.17 ‘Debasement Tapes’ from tv series ‘Veronica Mars(2007)’ According to Amazon Video, the illustration starts 39 minutes and 15 seconds into the episode, when Logan Echolls(Jason Dohring) is giving a class presentation, and the teacher for that class is Professor Corrigan(Norman Large). Refurbished for this advice, let’s say that Logan knew that Professor Corrigan would stop his presentation, but if he chose to do so, it would be because of a sense of accumulation, and that is what happened in that episode. Now, if you choose to refurbish that episode, and you realized that you experienced an instigation in your past that involved a similar sense of accumulation, like the accumulation Professor Corrigan experienced, instead of that sense of accumulation occasionally bothering you when you would recall that experience, you can instead use bookmark ‘Have to go to the bathroom’, or other variations of that phrase, such as ‘Have to go.’ or ‘Accumulate’, or ‘Pile up’, such as paperwork piling up, so that you can more tenably experience such a sense of instigation induced accumulation. In Professor Corrigan’s case, he at least had the ability to stop the presentation, although Logan did forsee that to happen. In your case, I’m referring to instigations that you may have experienced at work, or instigations you may have experienced while using public transportation. If it’s at work, what can you do about a mild instigation that induces a sense of accumulation? And if it’s while using public transportation, what are you going to do, say something to that instigator?

To clarify about how I give advice, I try to help people more tenably experience unavoidable instigation. I am not trying to dictate what choices they have available to them.

So, from kids to adults, I believe in a standard demographic context, this ‘Have to go to the bathroom’ advice can be very useful to you. I recommend that you just think back to see if your past experiences with instigation in a mild to moderate context can be made more tenable if you use bookmark ‘Have to go to the bathroom’ on it. I personally actively used this idea during the 1st 2 weeks after I invented it. I also would shuffle the phrases ‘Have to go to the bathroom’, ‘Have to go’, ‘Accumulate’, and ‘Pile up’, to see if I can make the idea work for certain experiences. And based on my experiences, after a few weeks of using this idea, and with the new ideas that I plan to offer to you, you won’t be actively using it much after that, so therefore I recommend that you enjoy the frequency of using ‘Pile up’, or whatever it is you want to call it, for the next 2 weeks. After that, you should have a pretty good idea how to use it, and the other new ideas will probably get your attention more, based on my experience.

[Next week, probably this coming Tuesday, I plan to give you the last part of this explanation, 6 of 6, called ‘Not my sense of chosen understanding’. I have a more developed, more relevant name for it now. Of course, that is up to you to decide, if you choose to use the idea.
